Book 10 in Alpha Geek Jett by Milly Taiden
Jett finds out important information that is very dangerous and could get him killed.
He hired Ivy as a personal trainer but when she goes to meet him again finds him being kidnapped. This is when she realised he her mate.
Nice spin in this book and as usually Milly Taiden does a fantastic shifter romance story. If you enjoy this the definitely check out PDA series

Riveting all of the characters and the plot is simply captivating
Ivy had been giving the daily training lessons to the students that attended the keep fit classes, thinking to herself that she could not stand much more of the monotony and would have to find another job sooner rather than later.
Then Ivy had one of her private shifter students ask her is she would consider joining their group of specialists, if the answer is “YES” she was needed immediately to guard a client that’s life was in danger because of sabotage information he had discovered.
Ivy a Panther Shifter is immediately aware as she pulls up to Jetts apartment that he is already under attack and that she has to rescue him, unfortunately the guards have already been taken out and Ivy realises that they are also a variety of shifters and as brave as Jett is being he is under brutal attack and bleeding out.
He is her Fated Mate and she can see that he is bleeding out, dying and she knows that without her fated mate in her life Ivy will be forced into a half-life, they have to do everything to save him and they give her some experimental Shifter serum it is their last hope at possibly saving him.
Jett is aware that he has changed and he knows that he is now a different person and yet the feelings he has for Ivy is without question the most marvellous and unconditional love, he feels so strong and now that he has learned of his new attributes is aware that love of his life Ivy was willing to do anything to keep him safe.
Together the couple along with the rest of the group are determined that they will bring the perpetrators that have been poisoning the mater and harming the innocent public to the law and ensure they are treated with the contempt they deserve. They have no respect for human life and they are not prepared to simply stand by and allow them to profit from their misery and physical harm to their health imply so they can get rich.
This is an action filled read by Milly Taiden, it is so well written the plot and the characters are simply fantastic and I assure you that once you begin reading you will not be able to put the book down.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

This is an OK shifter romance, but it seemed that the couple was more in lust than in love. Jett and Ivy were both likable, but I would have liked a little more romance and a little less sex.
This was a quick read, so there wasn't time for as much character development as I like -- but there was enough to like the couple and to want them to find their HEA.
I thought Jett would have been a little more shocked when he first saw Ivy shift, and then had a little more trouble adjusting to becoming a shifter himself. It helped that he already knew about shifters, but he had still never seen anyone shift.
One complaint is that most of Milly's stories are a bit too explicit for me. I like hot sex in romances, but I would prefer it to be a little less descriptive and dirty. I am not a prude, but the really explicit stuff is just not romantic to me. But I will continue to read Milly's writing, as it is entertaining and fun.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.

Oh how I love this series! There's just something about a geek turned alpha that keeps you reading!
I have read quite a few books written by Milly Taiden, and I'm always pleasantly surprised at how she manages to keep me enthralled, not only with her characters, but her story as well. She has quite the talent, keeping a great pace throughout the tale, not too quick and definitely not too slow! Her characters are always interesting, unique and usually know how to find trouble, and this book certainly falls into all of those categories.
In this episode of the Alpha Geek series, we have the distinct pleasure of meeting Ivy and Jett, two polar opposites, who together, make one outstanding team. A must read, as they seem to be able to find trouble at every turn, or is it trouble that is finding them! Question is, how?
I have read a few books in this series, and I have to say, I'm definitely not disappointed and quite looking forward to the next episode! What kind of adventure with Ms. Taiden bring us on next?

Panther shifter Ivy Bartasso is tired of her life as a fitness instructor and so takes the job offered to her by the shifter protection agency. Human Jett Frakes has discovered a plot to poison the city's water supply but after gathering all the evidence to take the company down, he is found out and in mortal danger and so engages the shifter protection agency. Jett is Ivy's first assignment but also detects that he is her mate. When an ambush nearly kills Jett a special serum will have him changing into something far more alpha than before.
I loved this story with the passion and love between Jett and Ivy mixed in with the determination of the chemical company to take Jett out and destroy his evidence before they are taken down. It was great to experience his joy at what he could see, hear and feel when he was able to shift and the way he was able to start to help to defend himself from the bad guys. Definitely, a HEA that they all deserved after all that fighting. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.

New to the protection gig--she leaves the boredom as a fitness trainer to protect Genious Jett who could have the key to saving many lives. He's found a chemical that could mean money for those who created it but danger for many others. If he is found and the evidence he found it's all over. A really big job for her first. Add to that the human she is to protect is also her mate.
There is lots of action and even more steam. With the limited staffing in the protection agency, can she really save him? When things go bad will the serum the agency has used on a limited basis make a difference? Or will she lose him?

April 10, 2022I’m really not sure how this book got so many 4/5 star reviews. I dnf after chapter 6. I’m not giving any stars strictly because it’s not fair to rate something I didn’t finish. But I will point out why I didn’t finish it. There was head hopping several times, some of the sentences were clunky or didn’t make sense, a few times one of the characters was thinking and it wasn’t in italics. The story, even though it was a fantasy, was making me scratch my head a few times. Jett looks nothing like the cover model with his reddish blonde hair. (This drives me nuts when the cover looks nothing like the character.) The story premise was meh, but it’s a romance book (or smut book as I always joke about) so maybe the story isn’t important to some readers 🤷🏼♀️

I liked this geeky alpha. He recognized his vulnerability and the need to protect his mate. He is likewise not arrogant, admitting that his mate is stronger than he is, for now.
Danger just keep coming for them. Everywhere they went, their enemies followed them. There are a lot of times the author has held us in suspense, making us wonder if our MC will live or die. We all knew he will survive the first near death experience where he was changed but the next one after that makes you wonder. But the hope that it's going to be an hea helps lessen the blow but it was a close call.

I have been reading the Alpha Geek series since the beginning. While I like the stories, I would like a change of pace. The story seems to be getting repetitive. It is beginning to seem like the same story with a slight change in name and problems. The bodyguard finds out they are guarding their mate and something happens that requires the mate to be injected with the serum that changes them into a shifter.

Well, this book was much different than the others in the series. I had to look at the cover to make sure I had the correct book. Quirky and full of humor. Geeks can be fun and super smart. I love the connection between he and his heroine. I also like how he is able to interact and be so smart about things. He makes me want to rethink dating a geek! I hope tis series continues. Clear as water
Another fabulous Alpha Geek! These two characters were phenomenal! I love how Ivy was so open to change and gung ho about life. She took one look at her Alpha Geek and she was captivated, and Jett was everything I hoped he would be. The author perfectly paired his brain with his brawn and freed his true potential. The story was full of emotional ups and downs, and enough action and danger to keep me glued to my seat for the duration. This book was an absolutely amazing book and I am looking forward to the next installment.

A great read especially as it was about a female being the stronger one. It was nice to read a book that has a female lead instead of men leading and being the one to protect you first. However I did find it a bit repetitive in places but that doesn’t take away from being such an enjoyable read that I didn’t want to put the book. Thank you Milly for a book with a strong female.

Another fun and entertaining read and a great addition to the series. There lots of action and even more steam to keep you hooked from beginning to end making it a helluva read. So looking forward to the next book in this series. This was a typical Alpha Geek plot without much variation. Geek has important information that someone doesn’t want released, said geek is assigned protection and the goons try to kill them. The only truly different part was how the goons were getting the information to keep finding them. That was a nice addition.

Jett is such a great Alpha Geek. I loved the first time he and Ivy were together…cute and hot at the same time. This story was great. I was surprised to find out where the leaks were coming from . These 2 had chemistry from the start. I love that Jett had 2 hot animals in him. Keep the stories coming.

I have loved all the Alpha Geek books and this one is no exception Ivy and Jett wow loved them. Ms. Taiden makes loving someone who is different is amazing and I agree, these stories are more than just Geeks being cool but about being with the person you have a connection with no matter what anyone else says and I love it.

Great Book
I enjoyed this story for the most part. It kinda got repetitive with moving, found, fight, move again so many times. Obviously something was not right. I was starting to think the organization was the bad guys as well. Working for someone else and was hoping to wear them down. Thankfully that wasn't the case.

This was one of my favorites of the Geek series! Jett and Ivy are fantastic characters and I loved their relationship! Drama, action, danger, and plenty of steam! I adored the ending! Highly recommend! Received arc and am voluntarily leaving an honest review

This is a book for paranormal and action fans alike. Jett and Ivy's story pushes them to more dangerous and deadly lengths than any of the other Alpha Geeks so far. You won't be disappointed.

Milky Maiden did it again!
I love all her books because it all about love from the first to the last. Jett was strong already in his head & heart before he changed and did not loose it with his new physical strength. Wish I could find this!

Honestly I do not even read the blurbs anymore for Milly Taiden’s books I just auto buy them. Because I know that I am going to laugh and sigh and enjoy every minute of the action and romance she packs into every book she writes. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Watching the smart, sassy, and strong woman fall for the geek is always a fun read, and the "Alpha Geek" series is always guaranteed to deliver. There is plenty of fast paced action, super hot sexy scenes, a bit of drama and angst, and a geek who still remains a geek at heart.

Exciting
I love this series. As always we got lots of action and adventure. Jett is a great character and Ivy is perfect for him. They have some interesting moments and adventures but get a wedding and a baby one way so this was a perfect ending. Hope there are more to come.
