Quantum Physics for Beginners
Then it would be best if you had this simplified guide with examples related to your daily life. And Since we are all in a hurry, we plan to help you “quantum leap” into physics. You’ll be more intelligent in a few short hours! Tiny and invisible things can be complicated… just like subatomic particles. They don’t behave like the things you observe in your everyday life. Scientists around the world are even perplexed. But because you love science and are curious about how the world works on a minuscule level, you are more than willing to go the extra mile to dive into this challenging but exciting field of education. It might seem counterintuitive to anything you know about traditional physics. It requires imagining things you can’t see, moving in ways you can’t fully comprehend — and you’re not even sure if you’re right. As American physicist Murray Gell-Mann once said, “If someone says that he can think or talk about quantum physics without becoming dizzy, that shows only that he has not understood anything whatever about it.” So, be patient with yourself if you can’t get this subject thoroughly. We are going to help you start unraveling Quantum Physics. You’re about to
And much more.
Here, the explanations are not focused on overwhelming mathematical equations that will only leave you more confused. The theories are illustrated with real-world examples to make this very abstract topic understandable — even to non-experts in physics. You don’t need a degree in physics or math to grasp the main principles presented inside. Get ready to be amazed on a subatomic level — pick up what I’m throwing down and expose yourself to this fascinating realm of science! Quantum quantified
I am so glad I found this book right when I was about to write my new book. I am an author that combines science with quantum and metaphysics. This book will be my now Holy Grail for referencing quantum theories at the introductory level.
The things that intrigued me about this book was the similarity between Indic Vedas and modern Quantum Physics. Macro and Micro concepts have been described well in Indic side as Sukshmanda and Brahmanda. I was amazed to see the direction Quantum physics is heading. There are many theories described here and what forms their basis in the Quantum field.
My Vedic understanding has found a solid footing with the modern science with this book. Duality has been covered beautifully in this book. I would have loved to see some parallel drawn to non-duality. Especially when it states in chapter 3 that our Universe is nothing but wave particles.
It was refreshing to see the simplicity with which this narration explains how quantum theories can be exploited by science. So many wonderful experiments have been detailed just enough to trigger your curiosity.
Pick this one up to get introduced to Quantum Physics in a new light.

Down-to-Earth Descriptions of Mind-Blowing Concepts
Audiobook review

While I don't follow the general news because of its emphasis on negativity, I do follow breakthroughs in science and medicine. If you think about it, there have been so many breakthroughs in physics in just the last decade, and much of it has to do with quantum physics/mechanics, the focus of this book. From the introduction through all the chapters, the publisher first explained a common, relatable human experience and then showed its parallels to an aspect of quantum physics, making this sometimes weird and wacky world of quantum mechanics understandable at a basic level. I love that! The book starts with the history of quantum physics and then goes on to explain concepts you've no doubt heard of, like quantum entanglement, the cutting-edge promise of quantum computing, and surprisingly, even the law of attraction (yes, THAT one)…and much more. The book’s conversational style is so immediately engaging and understandable that it would be good for anyone from an intelligent tween to an older adult interested in quantum physics. It would be ideal for a family of science nerds to listen to and enjoy together.

As someone who is still relatively new to audiobooks, I love that the author includes the text of the book as a downloadable PDF if you buy the audiobook. It appears to be the full ebook, so if you don't know how to spell certain names or concepts, you can find it in the included PDF. I’ll admit to being a more visual person, so this included document added to my experience of the book. Wicked cool!

The only thing I didn't like about the book was the narrator. He just had an odd way of talking that just didn’t sound like the way people talk. In fact, at the beginning, I wondered if it was an AI narrator, not a human one. The jury is still out on that! He also mispronounced the name of noted 19th-century scientist Louis Pasteur. All in all, though, I think this is a marvelous audiobook to introduce you to the supremely fascinating world of quantum physics.

I received a promo code for this audiobook, but that did not affect my review.

After finishing this book, is your reaction one of "Huh?" Don't worry about it; even veteran physicists have a hard time understanding quantum physics. The important part is that modern conveniences, like MRI machines, lasers and holograms, quantum clocks and computers (much more accurate and faster than at present) and unbreakable codes, all come from quantum physics.

Instead of trying to understand it all, start with just one chapter, then go to the next. If it is easier, learn some classical (or regular) physics, first. In the future, quantum (anything) will become an important part of daily life. This book does an excellent job at presenting it as painlessly as possible, and is a very good place to start your education.

Great Resource for a Baffling Subject!

I loved the author’s approach. Quantum Physics was made interesting and understandable in this book, unlike others that I have tried. I am as far from a scientist/mathematician as I could possibly be, but this short book finally gave me a good grasp of the subject. I liked it so much that I ordered a paperback in addition to the Kindle version.

An interesting book for those for with no Quantum Physics background

Well written, informational, and helpful book for those who have an interest in understanding what quantum physics is, is not, but possibly could be in the future.
