Rate this book
Annalise is a new secretary at an upscale downtown office. Her boss, Blue, rides her hard day in and day out. Her fiancé Darnell says he’ll take care of them and that a job is pointless. Whereas her boss, who ends up desperate for her help, does what he can to keep her close.

Tension begins to rise between Blue and Annalise in the workplace. So much that neither can keep their minds or hands off each other.

Annalise has a decision to make. Darnell is her fiancé and he loves her but, Blue makes her body feel alive, and she’s never felt passion like this. An accidental seduction turns into a real problem when neither is willing to part ways despite Annalise’s current situation.

Definitely not giving what the author thought it gave. First, this is an IR romance and it’s tagged in Black romance. do better with that. Clearly this man is white. There was nothing really erotic about this story and it feels so unfinished. Are we even going to discuss the remarks from the boss? Like why would you even allow a Black woman to sleep with a man who admitted to hiring her because he didn’t have enough Black people at the job? Who goes to browse porn hub just to fetishize Black women? How did we even get here? I won’t even forget the “your side of town” comment what happened to the fiancé? Like she just left to be with her white boss who stereotypes Black people and he low key racist? Yeah? Okay . This book shouldn’t have been written because it’s full of lies and deceit from the first page.
