I got this book at the Ness Book Fest and really enjoyed reading through it (and am now letting some of my Invernesian friends borrow it as well). It talks a lot about the history of the town and some of the main characters throughout the years. It sheds light on some of the places that I frequent and I loved learning the meaning of all the place names in this city (whether Norse, Scots, or Gaelic). It is a really fun little piece of trivia.
