Finders, keepers.

A shifter can’t just keep a human, unless there is fate involved.

For legendary pack alpha, Roth, finding a mate was a must. Finding one gifted by the fates? Nearly impossible. But fate likes to challenge the men of Full Moon Bay, landing a very curvy human and her kid sister right on the outskirts of town. She was fleeing a past and ready to start new. But a human in a shifter town was a risky combination, and as alpha, Roth refused to entertain thoughts of her permanency.

When Odessa’s car broke down, stranding her in the town of Full Moon Bay, she was forced to accept the town’s generosity to protect her sister. Hoping all bad things were behind her, she put her trust in the town and four delicious men as she worked to build a new life. But when her past seeped into the present and the lines between human and wolf blurred, Odessa and her men must fight to save their legacy and honor the hands of fate.

With a mystical amulet around her neck, and four shifters at her back, Odessa must trust Roth and his men to save her and bring down the faction of human poachers she had been running from. But when danger closes in and the men are surrounded, how will they survive?

**Refused is a standalone, wolf shifter romance, filled with with, tension, and some snack worthy males.**

Expect the unexpected should be the motto for this particular series. I love the different scenarios Mohan comes up with when it comes to fated mates. In Resisted we got a sort of second chance fated mated situation whereas in this book, Refused, Roth and his subpack are fated mates to a human. Completely unheard of and totally unexpected for these men. To top it off, not only does she not know about shifters, but they also have an arranged mating possibility thrust upon them when no one (besides Roth who is trying to grit his teeth and bear it) wants this particular woman. If you want a taste of other woman drama but not something too overwhelming, this would be a good book to read. It's not something that will raise your hackles too much and you'll find yourself actually laughing at everything she is putting the guys through while they try their best to keep away from her any chance they get. At the end of Resisted, I thought maybe this would be a sort of enemies to lovers romance, but boy was I wrong and I'm very glad to be wrong. The fmc of this book, Odessa, is so much better of a person and love interest than Alexis, their potential mate from another pack.

This book is on the slower burn side, but things do eventually happen. Because not everyone is for having Odessa as a love interest, the relationships between Odessa and the guys move at different paces from each other. There are some guys who are all in, completely head over heels, and others who are being stubborn about their feelings. Roth. I'm talking about Roth. However, I do feel that even though they had an attraction and somewhat of a pull towards Odessa, that the relationships developed authentically with each person finding something in common with the other. Taras and Odessa's random facts banter was one of my favorite things. "Did you know it takes longer to grow a toenail than it does to grow a human?" Because I sure didn't!

The poachers continue to be a huge problem in this book just like in Resisted, but things definitely seem to have been kicked up a notch as some of the poachers' goals are revealed and dealt with. I imagine that it's only going to get more intense as this series of standalones continues. The people they've been dealing with in the past are just the tip of the iceberg and I'm terrified to see just how deep this issue of human vs shifter goes. This isn't just about killing, this is about domination and control of a species to benefit themselves overall. I hate it, but I'm actually very excited to learn of all the details and the poachers' final objective. Will the shifters be able to cut off the snake's head before anything gets too out of hand?

Refused is Delilah's second book in her Wolves of Full Moon Bay series and it was great. Odessa is on the run from an abusive turned stalker ex while trying to take care of her teenage sister. Not gonna things have been crap but she is determined to protect her sister. So when a safe haven appears she takes it. Odessa is open, caring, and understanding if a little depressed due to circumstances. She fits in surprisingly well with the community of wolf shifters even if it took her a while to realize it.

We first meet Roth and his subpack in Resisted, the first book in the series. Well, now it's their turn. There is an instant attraction but Odessa is human and things are complicated, the guys are still willing to shelter and protect Odessa and her sister. To complicate matters, even more, there's another girl (think arranged mating), and Roth is denying his feelings about a lot of things, even though they all have chemistry and Odessa fits so well within their subpack. The guys always made her feel welcome and it grows even more over the story.

I loved that Bella and her guys had roles in this story, it's always good seeing familiar characters. There was plenty of tension in this book, the stalker ex, will Odessa run, and the secret of the wolves, all of which add to the excitement of the story. Not to mention the poachers. A lot of the story focuses on the relationship between Odessa and the guys, the banter between her and Gage was fantastic while the dialog between Odessa and Taras was sweet. I loved every single second of this story.

Refused was an entertaining read that had its moments of action, drama, steam, and fun. There was a great range of emotions with wonderful characters and a great plot. The story ended with an epilogue pointing to the next book with a character readers know. It looks to be a little different than what's happened before so I'm curious as to how things will play out.

Resfused by the ever-evolving and talented Delilah Mohan was awesome. It is book two in the Full Moon Bay series but it can be read as a standalone. Whether you've started this series at book one or two, there is a lot to unpack in this full length paranormal reverse harem novel.

Let's start with the many reasons I found this book so epic. Firstly, how hot does having four sexy male wolf shifters bond to one human woman sound? Need I say more?! Secondly, there is family, love and new beginnings featured as well. Lastly, it wouldn't be realistic for any tale not to have at least one antagonist alongside some drama, violence and intrigue.

With all of the above being so true, I do have one teensy tiny less-than-awesome opinion to share. That has to do with the, to me, lengthy fight scene that was at the end. Now, let me say that it was written flawlessly but I felt on edge because there was so much of it...for so long.

This is a 5 star read for me and I can't wait for the next story set in Full Moon Bay.

I’m always looking for a good shifter book/series because I find it difficult to find one that I love. This one was almost a true favorite. I really liked the storyline and the characters. Each MMC was different and had individual and great personalities. I absolutely loved the banter between the Odessa and Gage. Absolutely hilarious. Loved the “fact trivia” between Odessa and Taras. I loved that they were mates but it didn’t make them crazy and unable to control themselves just because they were mates. I loved the protectiveness and possessiveness. The things that took away from the story for me: Her sister was a great side character with great lines but for most of the story she was MIA. I would have liked to see her more incorporated especially since she was her guardian. I don’t like shifter stories when it takes the majority of the story for the “human” to find out the truth about shifters. To be a good RH there needs to be a good spice balance and this was extremely low on spice. Bring mates we only witnessed her fully mating with Roth and not the others.

If you are looking for a steamy shifter book, this is the book for you. I love this world that the author created in the first book of this series. While this one is a standalone, there are definite references to the first book. Now let's talk about Gage. Can we say yummy. If ever a man could make a girl find her happy ending with just words it would be him. He is dirty and shameless and I am here for it. Taras is the perfect nerdy mate. Rig and his sexy grunts and Roth, the alpha, yes please. The fight scenes are also great. I love that Odessa is not afraid to stand up for herself even though she's human. Definitely a must read!

Such a good book. Delilah really knows her shifters. I love that this is a standalone but set in the same world as Resisted. Odessa is a strong minded fmc, she has no idea that she's headed to a shifter community when her car breaks down. In fact she has no idea about shifters or magic or anything else. I don't want to give to much away but no that Delilah knows what she's writing about and this is another fantastic book!

Awesome

I loved this book. It was a perfect slow burn RH. You get the opportunity to really get to know all the characters. I won't go into the plot because you should just read it! I wish the ending was a little more drawn out but you do get the HEA but it happens quickly. This book was a standalone but I'm looking forward to book 3 just because this story was written so well.

I loved this book and the story of fated mates. When the Alphas sub pack fails to find a mate they think a political alliance may be best. Little do they know their little town is going to be disrupted by the best kind of surprise! Odessa and these men are one of my favorite poly pods now!!!!

I loved this slower burn RH romance. I loved Gage and the rest of his subpack. They have incredible interactions with Odessa. Once the heat starts, I get hot. This is wonderfully written and is so easy to become immersed in.

Refused

I really enjoyed this book. It is a stand-alone why choose romance with possessive alphas who only bend for her. I really enjoyed this series so far and will continue to read the rest of it.

This was such a good read. I loved the characters and how much we really get to know them throughout the book. There was a huge buildup and I loved how it went, honestly. This is a GREAT book!

I loved Odessa's story. I was really looking forward to Gage getting a book and this did not disappoint. I love how she feels a pull to the men and the town itself. The action level is pretty high and the laughs keep coming. I enjoy the way the whole fated mates keeps playing out in this series. And I love watching these Alphas finally meeting their fates. Another great addition to the series.
