I read 2006 before this one and it just wasn’t that funny as I couldn’t remember the news. However 2009’s news was very memorable so the jokes made more sense.

A bit of a mixed bag. Some funny, some mildly amusing, some just....well, humour is subjective. I do like the simplicity of the art however and getting the joke across in one panel isn't easy!
