Marshall Rosenberg is truly a saint and great philosopher. Not only does he have great knowledge around communication, he clearly has experienced many ups and downs and is grateful enough to share his learning and connections with the world. If you have anxiety, frustration and anger about your daily communication, just listen to Marshall's core teachings. With all of the hatred being spread in today's society, if we could take a step back and clearly separate our needs from our wants everyone's relationships would be drastically healthier.

Really excellent book full of practical case studies and examples of people and their issues around communication. I re-read this every so often and may have to go buy a copy as I just sent mine off with a friend going through a break-up. Great book!

This is the companion workbook for Nonviolent Communication. It provides exercises for each chapter, along with a study group leader's guide, with ideas for exercises to do in a group. It's a straightforward workbook, with good questions and exercises. Recommended if you want to deepen your study of NVC.

I tend to gravitate toward non-fiction. A friend recommended this book after learning of the idea of non-violent communication. Subtitle: Create your life, your relationships and your world in harmony with your values. Nice book for reminders or new ideas for how to speak in ways that get you what you want without doing so at the expense of others.

This was a great addition to the book and helped me a lot in preparing a presentation and group exercises. I just wished there were more exercises in the workbook rather than discussion topics and instructions.

A needed resource at a stressful time in my parenting career. NVC is a welcome alternative to the madness that so often befalls me when dealing with two little ones.

Less useful than Rosenberg's own books.

Skimmed through it after reading main book. Seems useful but didn't do exercises.

A good companion to read concurrent with the main book by Rosenberg. Gives some good exercises to go through to hone NVC.

I am so grateful for the time I took to read the book and also work through this workbook. Two friends of mine have come over to my house weekly at 6:30am to enjoy tea and breakfast and to work on our NVC skills.

As simple as the skills seem, when in the thick of it and emotions run high, it is challenging to recall the steps and practice them in real time. But that's okay. It is going to be messy and any effort matters.

This workbook really helps solidify the process of NVC into our minds so that we can really use it when opportunities arise.

This is fine, but it's extremely nonessential compared to "Nonviolent Communication" and "Living Nonviolent Communication." It seems like this is mostly geared towards organized groups, and again...that's fine, and this is probably great for an organized group, but if you're reading the primary book and trying to apply it to your life, you're already implicitly doing the work in this book. So for me, at least, it was unnecessary.

A coworker mentioned that he always follows the "nonviolent communication" technique at work, so I decided to read a book about it. I think it was badly written and after reading it I can barely remember the message. Do not recommend it.

No era lo que pensaba, la verdad. Esperaba un texto más fluido y práctico para que uno mismo pudiera poner en juego la CNV en su día a día. En mi opinión, está sobre todo orientado para practicar la comunicación NoViolenta en dinámicas de grupos.

This manual proved very helpful for me while trying to develop teaching material. I also found that the structure allowed for easy navigation.

Oefeningen om de theorie toe te passen. Interessante stukken, maar niet alles is bruikbaar om zelf mee aan de slag te gaan. Selecteren wat toepasbaar is.

Effective methodology we should all learn to improve our life quality, to effectively learn to develop healthy and long-lasting relationships, and also to better manage our most important relationship: the one we have with ourselves.
