When Joe spots a place to sit in the park by a pretty, girl-next-door red-headed woman, he reminisces with Brad about his first love (red-headed, big and curvy Mary Jo) from 15 years ago, the one who was devastated when he joined the Army and the one who spoiled him for all other women. As Joe strikes up a conversation with the slim redhead, it takes him a while but he realizes there's something vaguely familiar about her...
How to rate a book that's only 14 pages long? I just asked myself the question "Would I continue reading if it was longer?" And the answer is yes! This was like a hot little opening chapter of a novella, and somehow CJ managed to give an inkling of Joe and Brad's characters, (but sadly, not much of Mary Jo's--except she's one uninhibited girl) and work in a ménage scene. This story was a bit of a tease, but what can I say, it was free so I won't complain.:)
