The Finale

My journey with Tacari and Ashton has come to an end. I was kinda disappointed with the ending. I think that there should be more. The last page says "the end", but I'm not too sure about that. Either way though, I love the series. And I still stand by my belief that everybody in this family was crazy and dysfunctional. I would recommend this series.

DAMN

I was really rooting for Tacari & Ashton. There has to be a part 4. I was praying Ashton wasn’t sleeping with Neake…Thank God that wasn’t it😂 Only reason I gave 4 stars was because Of Cari & Khyree ….I didn’t like that part but still…Great job…plz make a part 4 so Ash & Cari can get their HEA❤️

Ok

Ok I just didn't understand kyree at all, if he had so much love for his kid why did he leave her like that. The story was good but a bit rushed at the end. I have so many unanswered questions. It was a good read

I wasn't expecting this!

I loved it Coley! It seemed that no matter what happened someone always ended up being down for the count. I didn't even feel sorry for Kyree because of all the underhanded bs he did. Man Ashley was damn near mad at the world and naive as hell. I understood she was mad but she was trying to fill a void the wrong way. I truly felt bad for Trelly because of everything he endured at the hands of someone he trusted and the constant reminder he was left with. Sterling needed to find something better to do with his life instead of holding grudges. He was just a sorry, good for nothing dude and I agreed with his grandmother completely. Tacari finally mellowed out only to be faced with yet another issue. Damn Ashley became gansta as hell and I knew she would have a breaking point eventually but not that type. Really Ashton? I thought for sure he was being real and Tacari was responsible her own predicament. I swear he was selfish and wrong on so many levels. It took a few years but things were on track until everything was revealed. Man Tori and AJ had every right to feel how they did because they were hit with a low blow. I honestly thought Tacari was going to end up snapping on Ashton. Great series!

WTF???

This book was all over the place. It didn't flow well at all. None of the story arcs made sense or were completely fleshed out.

The author often tried to tell the events of an incident using multiple characters to create a 360 degree view from several vantage points. It's a great literary device if done well. The author wasn't able to pull it off and instead created confusion. It was a jumbled mess.

Many characters did 180 degree personality turns that were unbelievable and left you scratching your head. And, I don't know too many grown folks who would let a 15-year-old child talk to them as if they are a child and not an adult. All I know is little mama wouldn't live long in my family.

The ending definitely isn't an ending. Not sure what to call it. It stops so abruptly. It's almost like the author was like fcuk it I'm tired of writing, so I'll stop here. Not only is a character wondering what the hell happened so are we -- the readers.

Part 3 was just as fast paced as the previous books. I can say this was a series full of twists & turns and characters that were quite interesting...Throughout I thought the characters attitudes & language, especially Tacari remained the same-hard core. I was able to complete this series in a short period of time due to my wondering what could possibly happen next. Although many of the characters went down, a few remained standing. This series held my attention due to the fact I was intrigued to find out why Tacari spent 10 years in prison. Once that information was revealed, I felt the story was complete. Overall,I felt this was a good street lit read.
