Face the Fire: A Romantic Paranormal Suspense Novel is the fifth Book in the Moore Family Saga series by Michele Sims. Having enjoyed the other books in the series I was happy to dive right into this story and find out what it had in store for us, and the characters.
I really recommend reading the previous (four) instalments before starting on this one as they contain important storyline details that will help you fully appreciate the characters and help you to really understand this story, as well as the series as a whole.
This is an exciting romantic suspense with paranormal elements, magical realism, secrets, musical empire, fame, success, family, danger, emotion, and more. Miles and Bella seem to have the world at their feet, but will the cost be too high a price to pay? It’s well worth the read to find out…
Another superb addition to the series!
Happy reading!

Thank you, Michele Sims!

As Bella and Miles return in the fifth book in this series, they are still very much in love and their partnership in the business which Miles has created from the ground up and which she is now a partner of as the Chief Marketing Officer, she begins to realise exactly how much work there is to be done while still keeping the love alive and their extended family happy. Meanwhile, Miles has started a new venture within the business and has begin to see even more success from it, but one of the people involved within it starts to put pressure on Miles when they engage in unbecoming behaviour, it increases the pressure he is already feeling.

As Miles and Bella try to schedule their business lives, they are also trying to do the same with their personal lives, Bella is determined to support Miles in everything he does and to help him build this business, but she is feeling the pressure as well and isn’t dealing with it as well as he is. That is until some information passes across Miles’s desk which pertains to a rival company and their competition with Miles, he knows that he is in the right, but he asks for a second opinion, however, nothing is as simple as it seems when trouble starts to brew.

As things heat up and the trouble increases, secrets are revealed on both sides and amid growing concerns that this rivalry between Miles and his competitors is growing despite all their efforts to avoid any confrontation, events conspire against them and the need for increased security around them is a necessary evil and Bella insists that she will do everything she can to keep her family safe, even if it means putting them before the business, she will not hesitate to do this and Miles understands this completely as he has had to put safety before everything before while he maintains his incendiary secrets which could engulf the family in more trouble than anything else.

Escalations increase and it is at this point that Bella fears the worst will happen and she worries that innocent blood will spill and the ramifications of this scare her, but will they be able to go head to head with the competition without the need for unnecessary violence, or will the danger surrounding those they love thanks to their joint success become too hot to handle? This fast paced romantic suspense will hook you in and keep you caught in the current of the rip tide of events as they unfurl with hints of magic and heat throughout, as the power couple work out the best ways to keep their family safe amid a riot of secrets and revelations which ignite the world they have worked so hard to create.

This was my first time reading anything by this gifted author, I am honesty quite hooked. The characters, the overall story, there was so much I loved, I would probably be writing a long time if I put all my feelings into words haha. I loved the flow, the story itself was a mystery with its own level of suspense! I will defiantly be reading the other books in the series by this author, they truly have amazed my mind in a good way!

I always have beena big fan of paranormal. This one struck my interest though on a new level. It was not just paranormal mixed with fantasy. I personally loved how the story with Miles and his paranormal ability with fire. I did not expect that at first glance. It made him a interesting character from the start. What really added to his make of being interest was his personality though. We all have our dark side right/ how dark is that side really to achieve what we want most in life? Bella was wonderful as well. She was very family orientated which I loved. I loved how she was career driven, and yet always made time for her husband and her kids. Put the whole family together and I will say I loved how supportive they all were of one another, strong family, loved that aspect! The characters were written very well and the story was very engaging, and I could not put this one down, as said I will be reading the prior books for sure!

The story itself really kept me hooked as well! That would be the work of this wonderful author, they knew how to keep the story flowing at a good pace, not too quick and certainly not to slow. They kept the reader as myself interested and wanting to know more of what would happen and what could happen next. I was in a lot of suspense and edge of my seat as I read, the book was a trill ride for me and I honestly could not get enough! Loved this book and its a must read for sure with no doubt!

As have said, this was a gripping amazing read. I loved the author and they gave gained a new stalker now haha. I loved this book and I think the rest of the series prior will be just as amazing! I do highly recommend this author and this book, as well as this series, wonderful on all ends, not ones to be passed up and that's a fact. Highly recommend, this is something you truly will enjoy to your heart's content!

I was excited to get my hands on this fifth and exciting installment of the Moore Family Saga and it most certainly did not disappoint! I was completely swept up and away into this story much like I had been in the past with the others. I would personally recommend that you take the time to delve into those before this one as they really lay a foundation of the family and the characters that will build the story for you. The author does a wonderful job of building the world and the story that I am sure if you really did not want to you could read it as a standalone and I am sure you would be hooked into it and want to read the others though. In this one we find ourselves completely immersed in the world of Miles and Bella, and I find myself really finding this one to be my top favorite! I cannot wait to see what will come next!

Face the Fire (Moore Family Saga Book 5) by Michele Sims

Face the Fire is the fifth book in the Moore Family Saga Series that I absolutely loved reading. This is a Paranormal Romance/Suspense that once you start reading you won’t want to stop till you’ve finished. I highly recommend reading this series in order as each book is just as good and will give you a better idea of what has happened in previous books. This one will have you turning the pages while on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what is going to happen next. Miles and Bella are newly married and new parents. He strides himself to be the very best at his job but has a client that is proving difficult and always in some kind of trouble. Miles and Bella find themselves in a situation where they are about to find out the price of success is when they are in danger. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait for more from this author.

Face the Fire (Moore Family Saga Book 5) by Michele Sims. I have loved this series so much and this book was no different. This could be read as a standalone. This is the continuing saga of the Moore family and in this book Miles and Bella have finally gotten married and have had twins. Bella is very family oriented and always puts them first. Miles is more career motivated and wants nothing more than to have a very successful music career. Bella is the Chief Marketing Officer for their growing company and she knows that any competition is going to be cut throat. While she learns more about the music industry and their competitors she realizes it can be very dangerous and she will do anything to protect her family. Will they be able to continue to grow their business and keep their family safe or will it tear Miles and Bella apart? Read this great addition to this series!

This book was one simple word, amazing! The fantastic characters, the overall story, and a plot with twists and turns that will hook you from the beginning just made this book absolutely perfect. This book also had incredible flow, mystery, suspense, drama, and of course some romance this paranormal romance book took me on an incredible roller coaster ride. But the main questions that I found myself wondering through this book were will Miles and Bella survive? Will their love be enough to overcome everything, or will it be their downfall? So if your looking for a great new paranormal romance I highly recommend this one.

I couldn't put this book down. Miles ad Bella have such a beautiful family. I really enjoyed seeing the way that the two of them interact with their twins. Miles is such an adorable mush and a fierce protector when it comes to his babies and his wife. There is so much action and betrayal in this book, it sucked me right in from the very first page to the very last. Miles and Bella find themselves the target of jealousy once again and have to work together as a team to survive and to keep their family on solid ground. This book also gives an inside look at the music industry and some of the struggles that musicians can face when it comes to the lure of crime, drugs and drama.

Face the Fire is the 5th and final book in the Moore Family Saga series of books. This book continues with the story of Miles Moore who is driven to become successful with his own music empire. He is determined to let nothing, and nobody stand in his way for him to become mega successful. Bella, who is both his wife, as well as the Chief Marketing Officer of his company wants to help her husband succeed and realize his goals but finds that it is not always easy. Bella also wants to be successful with both business and family and struggles with the challenges of motherhood as well as being a successful career woman. She also faces constant struggles with juggling her relationship with Miles as both his wife and his business partner. Tensions rise when Bella is caught in an ongoing battle between Miles and one of proteges who is struggling with the demands that Miles is imposing on him as an artist. After being on the inside and discovering the lengths that other artists will go to within the music industry, Bella is fearful of what will result of a feud between Miles and his competitors. Once again, Miles and Bella’s love for one another and their relationship is put to the test. Will they have what it takes as a couple to remain strong in love and successful in business at the same time?

I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series of the Moore family saga. Each book builds up from the previous one, we learn more about the characters, and follow them through several tense moments. In Book 5 the plot thickens and the danger level intensifies. Bella and Miles are caught in a volatile and explosive situation that could mean the end for them in more ways than one. Although each book could be read as a standalone it is much better as a series read in sequential order and starting with Book 1. I highly recommend this series and this author!

This romantic paranormal novel was full of suspense which had me hooked from start to finish. The novel is book five in the series and can be read as a standalone story, however, the characters do crossover. Having been introduced to the main characters in a previous book, I enjoyed the continuation of Miles and Bella’s story. The storyline is definitely unique with a mix of romance, drama, suspense, magic, paranormal aspects and added magical realism elements, but it all makes for an enjoyable and engaging read. Bella and Miles Moore are great characters with plenty of chemistry.
Miles is determined to make his dreams of having a music empire a reality but his wife, Bella is concerned that business is taking over family life. Bella also fears that the extremely competitive music industry along with the growing feud with their competitors will lead to bloodshed. The couple are still trying to keep their secrets from being revealed, and also discover that their shared success is endangering not just them but those they love. The author really does merge genres well and vividly brings the setting and characters to life with her descriptive narrative. This is a fast paced read, with an exciting plot that kept me turning the pages late until the night!

The 5th book in the Moore Family Saga was such a great read. Miles and Bella our main characters are married and have twins. They are very attentive to their immediate and extended family and the strength they gather from this closeness is truly a fine work of detail written in by the author. I love to read about strong family bonds and romance especially when a bit of paranormal is tossed into the mix! I enjoyed the easy reading style and the deeply feeling characters that are incredibly well thought out and written. It was so great to be able to identify and be able to hear the thoughts of both of our main characters not just a one-sided conversation or thought bubble. While I have not read the first four books, I am anxious to go back and start the series from the beginning as book 5 had me enthralled from the first page. It was exciting to be able to see a glimpse inside the music industry and to learn about the pitfalls and the fact that even celebrities remain tempted by their past, their fame, and the money. But I must say that the romance scenes are classy and romantic and so well written that I couldn’t help but to fall in love with Miles myself. Such a great read!

Face the Fire: A Romantic Paranormal Suspense Novel (Moore Family Saga #5) by Michele Sims

This isn't the first book I've read by the author. This is actually the second book I've read in the Moore Family Saga. Face the Fire is the fifth book in the Moore Family Saga.

Miles is the head of AriMusic and the father to twins. He's got a special condition that he's passed down to his kids. When he learns how far The Network is in his life it bugs him. The quote I chose for Miles is: “Our business is a family business and I need to be there. Bradley, I need to see for myself what trouble Pharaoh has gotten himself into.”

Bella is Chief of Marketing for AriMusic and the wife of Miles. She is scared when she learns that the twins have his special condition. Then she is scared that her and her mother are falling apart. The quote I chose for Bella is: “I’m sorry I slapped you. I came to remind you about your interview later today with WCAL. They’ve given your song a lot of airtime, and we need to make sure they know how much we appreciate their role in making the song a success.”

Highly recommended for Romantic Suspense lovers.

This is the 5th book in this paranormal romance series, although each can be read as a standalone. I had previously read the 3rd book in this series although I was unaware of this when I started reading, only to realise that I had read about these characters before.
I really enjoyed reading about Miles (Ari) and Bella again. Things have moved on a great deal since I last read about them and they are now the proud parents of twins who also have the same unusual power that their father has.
This book mainly revolves around their professional relationship with rap singer Pharoah, who in turn causes some conflict within their marriage. I was not a fan of Pharoah although I enjoyed reading about him and the troubles that he caused. He certainly was an entertaining character.
The author does a great job of writing an entertaining story that keeps the reader engaged, with a few twists and turns thrown in that I definitely didn’t see coming.
I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to others.

I really enjoyed this paranormal romance. This books can be read as a standalone but I think if you read from the start of the series it will give you a better understanding of the characters. However I have just read this one and I was still able to enjoy and follow the story.
The author does an amazing job with her characters and building the world around them.
Bella and Miles are both part of the music industry. From the outside they have everything you could wish for. Bella's and Miles relationship is strong but it does get tested a lot in this story.
Add to this the hidden secret about Miles's gifts which is hard to keep hidden when they are so much in the public eye.

Bella wants to settle down and raise her twins. Her priority is them and their happiness and safety, but Miles seems to be focused more on his career and business than being with his family. With the added stress of Pharaoh, causing trouble and rifts in their marriage. Can they work through it all and stay strong or will something finally succeed in pulling them apart?

Face the Fire is the 5th book in the Moore Family Saga. This romantic suspense has brought us a long way. Starting with Cade and Lecia in the first two and moving onto Miles and Bella in the rest, this saga has had many ups and downs. This book can be read as a standalone, but I read it with the rest of the set and I recommend reading them all. Miles Moore won't stop until his dreams of a music empire are a reality, but Bella is worried about their family. Their two twins mean the world to her. She wants nothing more to help her husband with his growing dreams, but when business collides with family she fears a feud. Competitors can make their life harder and she doesn't want any bloodshed. Will secrets split this couple and their family up? Will Bella's work become a problem? Will Miles's competitive nature endanger their lives? Will their strong family bond support them during these hard times? Their large family has always been there for them, but how about now? Great Saga. Slow going at first, but picks up and keeps you on your toes!

This was a fast paced good 4 star read and the 5th book in the series. Once you start reading you are pulled right in by the author's writing.

Miles and Bella are really put to the test. The music industry challenges them at every turn. You get a glimpse at just how stressful it can be. And with Pharaoh creating his own drama and he also has a thing for Bella, which adds more challenges.

Will Bella and Miles get through everything in one piece?

Overall I really enjoyed this book, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. The characters were great, very strong. We get mystery, romance, drama and so much more. The book can be read as a stand alone but it will help you with the characters and their stories if you start with book one. It was fun getting a glimpse inside the music industry and what can happen. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1- click and get started today.

This book took me by surprise. In my experience, paranormal romance normally struggles to keep the element of realism and relatability, but the author was able to find the balance between the two and keep true to the story. I love the chemistry between Miles and Bella, their relationship has its bumps along the way that keep them, and us, guessing. We also meet some new faces, one of which causes big trouble both professionally and personally for them.
The author's writing style compliments the story, it’s fast-paced and edgy, it keeps you wanting more. Sometimes I felt as though the story moved a little quicker than I did and it was difficult to keep up. This didn’t detract from my enjoyment though, and I would definitely recommend this, especially if you have read the previous books in the series.

This was a decent read. It had a really good storyline and interesting characters. However I couldn't get into this one easily. I think I was having an off reading day, but no matter how much I tried to concentrate and read I just couldn't make sense of some of the story. The timeline seemed wonky and just random part of the times and then at others the conversations seemed a little forced. I've read two previous installments of this series in the past and while they had some of the same issues I didn't notice it as bad as I did this time around. Again I think it was just an off reading day because when I could get into the story the plot was interesting, the characters were interesting, and it was really good I just had a lot of trouble getting into this one. Maybe next time will be better for me!

I was happy to see another book in the More Family Saga. Face the Fire was not my favorite in the series, but it was still a good continuation. The story picks up shortly after the previous book left off- with Miles and Bella still newly weds and managing life after the birth of their twins. They are listed as stand alone books, but I think you should read them all to get a full story. Miles has a unique gift, better explained in early books, and their relationship and overall family dynamic is built upon. I felt like this story had too much focus on external characters, mainly Pharroh. Pharroh is an artist within Ari Music, and Bella is his handler, so to speak. He develops a crush on her, and drama ensues. The book had a good ending, wrapping everything up nicely. I hope to have the next book focus on the twins.

The latest in the Moore Family Saga starts with a bang, and hits the ground running. AriMusic's most controversial artist, Lil Pharaoh, is causing all kinds of problems for Media Director Bella Moore. Despite warnings from her and Miles, he keeps making questionable choices and spending time with unsavory folks. People who don't mind using force to get what they want. Will they come for Miles and his family if they don't get what they want?
There is a ton of action in this book, which might be the most suspenseful yet of the series. I enjoyed the tension and nuance in Bella's relationships with Miles and Lil Pharaoh in particular. She doesn't act according to script, and I appreciated the honesty and struggle she exhibits. Powerplays and rebellions between Lil Pharoah and Miles cause lots of disturbance and friction. This is a powerful book 5 that you shouldn't miss.

While it took me a long while to get into this one, Michele Sims did deliver with good character building and great attention to detail. I believe that I would have grasped this book a little better had I read the previous books in the Moore Family Saga, although the information states it can be read as a standalone. I just felt like I was missing some crucial information when I read Face the Fire. I did enjoy the elements included that involved the ups and downs of managing various artists in the music business. It seems like a business that very few are truly cut out for. Couple those ups and downs with the paranormal aspect in the lives of Miles and Bella and you have a pretty entertaining book. Although this was not a favorite of mine, it was still a good story and I look forward to reading more from Michele Sims.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I have picked up from her. Coupled with her writing skills and her attention to details make her stories hard to put down and entertaining to read. This book is no different. This is a paranormal romance story that is full of fantasy and magic. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters who brought the story to life on each page. This is a fast paced story about love and betrayal. It brings suspense and twists and turns that you don’t want to miss. Miles and Bella are about to find out what the price is to success as they put not only themselves in danger but those they love as well. This is a really great story that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book.

A romantic suspense with paranormal and magical realism elements which gives this story an element of intrigue. As the fifth book in the series, I recommend that you read the previous books to get a better understanding of the characters and their back stories as it is a remarkable journey. I am sure you could read it as a standalone, but I can assure you will want to start at the beginning. This is a story about love and family, secrets and lies, mystery and uncertainty. Their happiness is shadowed by doubt, betrayal, obstacles, and forces that wish to tear them apart. There are twists and suspense that keep you turning the pages.
Miles a music mogul will stop at nothing to make his dreams come true. BUT is it worth it if the price to pay is family?

This story was a very exciting one. The storyline was energetic and full of mystery and intrigue. It took me a little while to get into the story as I have not read the previous books in the series, but once I got the gist of it, it flowed along pleasantly and cleverly. Full of magical mystery and drama, the characters were on a quest for success but they had a clash of wills and their priorities were not quite in sync with each other. Passion ran soul deep between them, but secrets and danger threatened their happiness.

In the genre of romantic suspense, this was overall a pretty good book. It was well presented, thorough and very engaging, once I understood where their journey was heading. I story I am glad I took the chance on. 4 stars.

I dove right into this book without having read the first four in this series. I found this to be an enjoyable read without feeling lost in any way. I do however plan to go back and read the other books for more of a back story and because I'm sure they are just as good as this one and I would like to know whilst I missed. This book kept me entertained throughout the entire story. I loved how strong Miles and Bella's marriage is even with the obstacles and outside forces that can cause problems. Miles' success is important to him but is the cost too high? To find out this and more you must read this book. The magic in this story is an added bonus to an already good read. I recommend this book.

I was really looking forward to reading the fifth book in this series and I wasn’t disappointed. It was great to catch up with Miles and Bella again and see their story progress and their story definitely isn’t plain sailing. There was so much going on in this book and it definitely captured my interest from beginning to end. There really is so much more to this story than meets the eye and I really enjoyed reading it. The author has a wonderful imagination and creative writing style and she certainly managed to engage me throughout this book and the previous ones. I would recommend reading the books in order to understand the characters and their relationships.
Overall, really great book and one that I would highly recommend.

Face the Fire was the first book I’ve read by this author and I jumped right into the series in book five. The synopsis describes this as a standalone and I really never felt
lost while reading without any prior knowledge of the series. I thought that the characters were truly strong and well written. I liked Bella and felt as though she was as relatable woman. She was emotionally strong and outspoken and I admired that. This book was not as fast paced as I had hoped it would read for me but the attention to detail was really there. The scenarios and conversations between characters played out in my mind like scenes from a movie. To me, that’s always the proof of strong writing. Overall, the genre itself was out of my norm, but I would definitely be open to reading more in the future.

6 weeks later. lol That’s where Face of Fire begins.
I love that it’s still Miles' story. Infant babies who have the same supernatural talents cases. Unfortunately that has put a number on the backs of their babies as well as Bella and Miles directly.
That being danger and drama has been a storyline through every book in this genre.
I don’t care for part of the Pharoah storyline, but you will have to read and find out his storyline, no spoilers here.
I liked book 5 but I was hoping for more, so I guess it would say it fell short for me. Yes, it’s book 5 in the Saga! You can go back and read all 4 leading to this one. You don’t have to though, you could start at book 3 and be satisfied.
Don’t let how I feel deter you, because you could love it!

I did a binge read of this series. I started out of order of course by reading this book which is book 5, but loved it soo much I went back to get the full read. This author is crazy talented, and I am so happy to have stumbled upon her.
Miles and Bella are the main characters and they are quite the power couple. They are newlyweds are still very much in love, and have a deep belief in a strong family bond. As they navigate married life and business there are many things around that are creating a bit of havoc. Power struggles in the studio as well as with competitors around truly up the stress and tension between them. This story manages to entwine mystery, romance, drama, and the paranormal giving you the best of all the worlds.

Continue following Miles and Bella as they face high emotional stakes of running a company as business partners while demands of marriage and family ensue. Miles is now facing the same relatable struggles of career vs family that we followed Cade through in Book 2.

The Author gives us yet another twist and a fast paced engaging read. Deep rooted family bonds and trust are the foundations to this saga as we follow our characters on their journey of love, passion, betrayal and suspense.

Can be read as a stand-alone but highly recommend reading this saga in order, especially the last two books where Miles and Bella’s story begins.

This book is even better than the last, I definitely want physical copies of this whole saga on my shelf!!
