The Winners' Chapel International network of churches is located in over 300 cities, in all states of Nigeria, and in several cities in 45 African nations, Dubai, the United Kingdom and the United States. Oyedepo has been seen as one of the pioneers of the Christian charismatic movement in Africa and has been referred to as one of the most powerful preachers in Nigeria. He is the Chancellor of Covenant University and Landmark University. He was named in 2011 by Forbes magazine as being the richest pastor in Nigeria.

This book is an excellent teaching tool on how to pray biblically and with power. It helps move away from vain repetitions and human teachings, and instead teaches how to pray using the Word of God and the Spirit.
To be honest, I believe I would have enjoyed this book more and found it more useful years ago. However, I can clearly see that it is a very good book to gift to others who are growing in their prayer life. In the end, everything we need is found in the Word of God.

“Without the Word, every in prayer ends in utter frustration. It is nothing but a worthless religious exercise.”

2025 Review:
I reread this book for a bible study and it was amazing to refresh what was learned and also look back and noticed little things I needed to experience and then get revelation on because I missed it the first time I read those things.
2024 Review:
Amazing book! I asked the Holy Spirit in prayer what He wanted me to focus on and He led me to focus on prayer. Then He highlighted this book. Couldn’t have come at a perfect timing. Wish I could add all the quotes because this book was mind blowing on revelations and things I was wondering about.
“Prayer is the breath of the regenerated spirit.”
“When your soul is genuinely revived, prayer becomes your God-given privilege, that you cannot afford to abuse, but make the utmost use of. It naturally becomes a part of your life, because your spirit has been attuned to crave communication with God, as a new born babe craves for milk.”

“It takes intercession and seeking the face of God to see the fulfilment of the great plans and visions He has told you about. God has set an expected end before you, but you must call upon Him and seek Him with all your heart, if you want to enjoy it.”

Very inspiring, clear, concise and straight to the point. For those like me that have some point in their spiritual journey do not know how/where/when to pray, this book give very good answers for each one to explore.
