Van Helsing’s reckless nephew evades werewolves and bullies when away at boarding school in 19th century Scotland. There, he comes face-to-face with his own werewolf blood so he can stand up to an even bigger monster, his stepfather Dr. Frankenstein, and find out what happened to his mom.
Thus begins the story of Mr. Rushin, a vampire-werewolf hybrid (a verewolf) and his adventures through time to stop the diabolical plans of Dr. Frankenstein.

An interesting read that is reminiscent of Shelley's Frankenstein and Stoker's Dracula. In fact, Dr, Frankenstein is the main character, Ranald's stepfather. Monsters, myths, and mystery as the tale twists around the legends of old. The author has a great writing style that lets readers feel like they are on the journey and lends a great feel to the atmosphere.
