First off there are trigger warnings in this story……grief, PTSD, suicidal thoughts and loss.

This book is quite emotional and hard to read and also sweet. In this story you meet a guy named Chandler who served in the military. He is going through PTSD from what happened while he was serving in the military. One night he gets drunk in a bar and a pal of Chandler’s orders him a ride share. The driver is a woman named Tamitha Beth (Tami). Tamitha has a young son named Chester. Her husband was killed by a drunk driver. Chandler is picked up by Tamitha and she gets him inside his house and to bed. He wakes up to her note and he realizes that he has to find her and apologize. He makes it his mission.

Tamitha and Chandler meet and he begins to open up and he begins to live again. Tamitha is getting over her loss because of her son and Chandler. I loved Tamitha and how Chandler was with Tamitha and with her son. I felt bad for Tamitha and for Chandler. I loved how the story ended. This was a good book.

What can I say I love a sweet romance! This one does not disappoint. I couldn't put it down. It's sweet, funny, romantic and at a time or two sad. I cried happy tears and sad tears and I laughed out loud. The story flows well and the characters are well developed. Neither Tami or Chandler knew they were what the other person needed and what they considered to be their flaws were the other's perfect compliment.

I can’t tell you how much I love Chandler and Tami. Tami felt so real with her little “quirks” that make her unique. I can’t name another character that I’ve read about that’s like her. Chandler is self-destructive because of his demons. But Tami and her quirks, and her son Chester, bring a new meaning to his life. Chandler felt real, and he wasn’t your typical book Hero either. Neither of them were perfect, and their flaws made me love them all the more.

I really enjoyed this book. I read the whole thing in about 4hrs. So it makes for a great poolside/beach read. The story telling draws you right in. Now I will say the main storyline of this book is not for the lighthearted. It was fun and flirty but also toured and made me cry. It deals with grief and how people handle it differently. I absolutely fell in love with the two main characters Chandler and Tami.

Beautiful

A beautiful heart warming story. A story of how small gestures can change a person's day. A story of fighting the dark thoughts and surviving. A beautiful story of love and family.

Loved the story. I also loved how she was a little quirky and embraced that side of her. They were great together.
