Three of us are marooned on an island of light, and I’m the only one breathing.

Maynard Bays, dead. Abby Jenkins, missing. LaKeita Haynes, missing. Greyson Barnes, missing. Tupac Livingston, dead. Emmogene Hoover, dead. DeJuan Clayton, dead.

Too many faces from Brother Wasmutt’s church were no longer around.

When my friend Clayton got mixed up in some “weird church” his sister, Linda, begged me to investigate. So I followed him.

What I found shocked me to the core, and I had to find a way to stop them.

Supernatural horror from Bill Hughes.

The party people at Black Hare Press have supplied me with a magnificent box of amazing literary horrors. The fantastic 'Rainmaker ' by Bill Hughes was one of them.

There is something terribly wrong with Brother Wasmutt’s church. All of a sudden people dissappear under curious conditions.

And after that; Maynard Bays, dead. Abby Jenkins, missing. LaKeita Haynes, missing. Greyson Barnes, missing. Tupac Livingston, dead. Emmogene Hoover, dead.

When DeJuan Clayton, dissappears, his sister, Linda, asks his closest friend for help and the protagonist is set to discover the truth.

Upon investigating his whereabouts, the protagonist discovers a terrible situation that shocks him to the core and calls for immediate action to stop the doom that's about to unfold within the parish and ultimately, the world.

Get your helmet on and prepare for some fantastic supernatural horror with a twist.

Rainmaker opens with a bang, and continues with a beautiful 1st person narration that I could not get my mind from stop hearing the voice tone and style of Edward Norton's character in 'Fight Club'.

The whole story plays like a cinematic cross between 'Midnight Mass', 'Boondock Saints' (minus that type of villains) and a reeeeeally good episode of 'Supernatural'.

A short read with a punch and with enough mystery and action to keep you hooked and ask for more. You'll be done and amazed within an hour and ask for the extended version as there is definitely room for expansion (I would love that).

Super creepy and entertaining. I totally loved this.
