I like the series in general but this particular volume was too long.

I also think that the first two books in the series had a better balance between the humor and the serious elements than this volume. The way the first two stories intermixed the MC's antics with the outcome (how the misunderstandings build up and appear to make him a genius at the end were much better done).

To be fair it is hard to continuously produce plots that will always have that delicate balance.

I would say if you read the first two books and liked them than you will probably enjoy this volume too (just temper your expectations a little bit)

Man Krai and his relics XD was nice to see more into Ark though and nobles relationships with hunters. Falling Fog was also interesting to have around and interactions with Krai, etc. That relic mask was so grotesque tbh.

I enjoyed the first two books of this series. The pacing of this book just threw me off.
