Dramatic for the Defeated
Julianna:
I’ve been told my whole life to lower my voice. Don’t randomly dance in public. Be quiet. Fit in… that's my favorite. Fit in. Never mind that oldie but goodie “Why fit in when you were born to stand out.” Yes, while I love that saying. Sometimes I feel like fitting in might make the lives of the people around me better, easier. Maybe I could be less dramatic but I just cant seem to grasp that concept. I wouldn't even know where to begin. Then one day I fell into Brody’s arms, and literally everything changes. He wants to hear me sing at the top of my lungs, he laughs when I dance around the halls, he encourages my crazy and before I know it. I’ve fallen for him. But am I being selfish? My family’s issues leave little room for Brody. Will I lose him while trying to keep my family safe?
Brody:
I have watched Julianna since freshmen year. The fun, outspoken, exuberant and sometimes wild child of our school. Always getting into trouble while smiling. And that smile alone could bring me to my knees. I’ve always wanted to talk to her, always wanted to stand in front of the fire for her but I’ve never even entertained the idea she could fall for a guy like me. No money, no future, no stable home life… so I stayed away. Until she feel into my arms. Holding her in my arms changes everything. Juju is mine and I will battle any dragon to keep her by my side.

It was a part of the anthology that I got for free. It similar tot he other books in the series. The story is fine, the characters are fine, the writing is okay, but there's just something that makes these books so boring. I'm not sure what it is, but they feel so long and, at the same time, it feels like nothing is happening.

I’m really enjoying this series. Brody and JuJu have always crushed on each other and came together quickly once they talked to one another. Brody is super protective just like every other guy in the series. He will do anything for his woman.

Jaycee Wolfe has quickly shot to the top of my all time go to comforts authors, and I have to say that I’m eagerly awaiting whatever she writes for us this year. Brody & Julianna (Juju) stole my heart, and it was so cute that they had basically been pining for each other since the second grade. You heard that right! Second grade! We love a good childhood/high school lovers situation.
As always when it comes to my favorite rejects and their ladies, we see they are each other’s one and only so this is 100% safety guaranteed and 100% adorable. 😊 The way that Brody made sure he was in the background while keeping tabs on Juju was cute af, & don’t get me started on how full of life and chaotic energy Juju was full of. It made their couple dynamic so entertaining, and you will love the epilogue when you see just how much Brody will do for his other half.
Read this book asap when it drops and catch up on the previous Rejected books 1-4 that are already out. This is safe, sweet, and intense high school romance that will be sure to have you flipping through the book fast while reading about new found young love that lasts!

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Dramatic for the defeated is the third book in the ‘’rejected’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Brody has had a rough life yet the one bright spark in his life is Julianna. Julianna has a crush on Brody but will either one make a move?
The chemistry between Julianna and Brody is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

Great Book! A must read!!

Oh my HEART❤️ I absolutely LOVED this book so so much!!!! Brody and JuJu were true soulmates 🥰🔥This series just keeps getting better and better!!! I can't wait for the next one ❤️ HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this one!!!!

Too short, ends in a HFN (even the epilogue didn't give me closure), and the smut! OMG! So cringy, the characters are seventeen years old. SEVENTEEN! I really, really don't want to read EXPLICIT sex scenes about teenagers, it's just gross. It was OK up to that point.
