At the sound of Theo's laughter, I know my life as perfect Ella Stewart is over.
The three eyes of his phone record every scandalous detail of the three of us: Hailey's moan. Jack's desperate demand I keep going. My frantic, undeniable attraction to both of them.
On video.
Now Theo's got blackmail on his mind. For each of us, a different demand. If we refuse, the whole world will see what we did, who we are.
Hailey can handle this— she's rough and tumble. Jack isn't afraid of anything. But if that video gets out, my family will disown me. I'll lose everything that makes me Ella Stewart.
Theo's requests don't seem that bad, at least not at first.
But how far will I go to keep him quiet? Will I destroy everything I have with Jack and Hailey to keep anyone from knowing what we had?
Or will I let my love for them destroy my family?
FLIRTATIOUS is a 46,000 word contemporary NA MFF romance, and the fourth book in the CURIOUS series. Mature scenes intended for adult audiences only. This episode ends in a cliffhanger.
I don’t like Ella at all. I have come to the conclusion I do not like MFF. I much prefer MMF or MFM. They spent more time as a couple than anything as a throuple. The jealousy and pettiness isn’t appealing. I like equally distributed affection/love in groups. I felt like it was one or the other and the whole nonsense of Ella wanting to keep Hailey hidden and force her to be an outsider in her relationship with Jack was not a good vibe. I thought this would be the last book that’s why I even started it but apparently there’s a number 5 coming and I’m going to end up completely forgetting about this series and honestly I’m not upset about that. It just really wasn’t for me. Sorry. But if you enjoy drama and MFF reads this should be a good one for you.

this book stressed me out like you would not believe…… summertime fun? more like summertime sadness. and i’m freaking frustrated ab theo’s character development bc i understand bro is complex and flawed but HES ALSO AN ASSHOLE. basically this whole shit show is complicated. i get it; that's the whole point. i'm sick to my stomach ab it regardless.
i’m a glutton for punishment it seems—or criminally nosy take your pick— so i’m most likely gonna read his book too even tho i strongly dislike him 😭 hopefully i don’t end up in another slump reading his book before i finish the rest of this series…. IM SCREAMING
ALSO!!! our main girls ella and hailey like HELLOOOOOOOO???? when do they get to be happy???? like i get jack’s gonna be fine no matter what (he’s also very sweet and nice and i do appreciate him a lot bc he’s such a green flag so i’m happy for him) but WHAT ABOUT THE GIRLS!?/! when hailey’s happy, ella’s miserable and when ella’s fine, hailey’s miserable??? can we PLEASEEEE have them be happy together AND at the same time 😭🙏🙏🙏
This is a story about how a couple becomes a triad, but only in the shadows. A story of what goes wrong when you have bigotry in your family and social hierarchy. A story of determining your own sexuality even when your not supposed to be different.
And then throw in someone whose afraid to admit with another whose afraid to admit and you've got a powder keg before you even get caught.
I feel for Theo, I feel for Ella for their closeted sexualities. I feel for Lucas- having to hustle just to get ahead - and man do I want to hear his story.
I feel for Hailey and for Jack.
So I hope that the next book comes out soon- I need to know what happens next.
I seriously can't get enough of this series! I've been reading it every spare minute that I get! I love how Jess started adding more perspectives so we now get to see Theo and Jack's perspective on a lot of situations. I need there to be another book. Like more than I need air to breathe.
DNF at 10%. Theo was the only character I liked in this series. I kept reading (and by reading I mean skimming) so I could get to his spinoff series. But I don’t even like him anymore and I just don’t care what happens. I’m done.
It's a good book in the series, but some of the grammatical/technical mistakes threw me off a little. At one point, Jack should be talking about Theo, but says Jack.
I enjoyed this series but it definitely needs a 5th book. I need to know how this story ends with Jack, Ella and Hailey. I need more from this throuple.
Of this series this was by far the most engaging. We had additional POV’s from Jack and Theo and there was most depth into Lucas (which only made me want his story).
The majority of this book circles around the aftermath of Hailey, Ella and Jack being discovered by Theo and their attempts to placate and hide the evidence.
As I’ve said in various other reviews, this series easily could have been condensed into 2 books instead of 4.
Great story potential but sloppy execution in my opinion
