Love might just be the distraction they didn't know they needed.
Harper Woodson went against everything her mother wanted by becoming an painter instead of a lawyer. Having moved away from home a few years ago, she's growing desperate to prove that she can make it as a full-time artist, and refuses to let anything come between her and her goals. Her heart, however, didn't seem to get the memo, and is pining after a handsome lumberjack she's been friends with since her arrival in Seagull Cove.
Mason Turley can't help but watch the stunning, blonde painter, who is one of the sweetest people he knows. Her kind demeanor and beautiful looks have wormed their way under his skin and he knows he's got a full grown crush on his hands. He also has a desperate situation as he searches for his wayward sister, and unfortunately, that must come first...at all costs.
Neither Harper or Mason are willing to let a little chemistry come between them and their goals, but when an unexpected turn of events throws them together, for an extended period of time, their convictions begin to waver. Will giving into their attraction make them stronger? Or will love prove to be the distraction they thought all along.
This is book #2, in the Three Sisters Cafe, sweet romance series. If you enjoy sassy heroines and swoony heroes, then you'll adore this romantic tale by best selling romance author, Laura Ann.

Harper and Mason have secretly loved each other for years but just remained friends. Mason got a surprise change in his life to help bring the two of them together. They are the cutest!
She knows her plans. He plans his life. Neither see this future coming. This is a wonderful read that will have you laughing, sighing and even shaking your head throughout as you watch the characters try to navigate life. Harper is an artist who is trying to build up her business to fully support herself. Luckily, she has a trust from her grandmother to bridge the gap. Her goal is to build her business and fulfill her art dreams, it’s slow but sure. Mason looks like a lumberjack and works for a lumber company and does sculpting using a chainsaw . His life is meticulously planned out. He knows what he will be doing and when he’ll be doing it. The one unknown in his life is his sister, Aimee, who vanished four years ago. He is trying everything he can, including hiring a private investigator, to find her. Harper and Mason are drawn to each other but she needs to build her business before there’s any relationship and he needs to find Aimee. When Aimee is found, it is not in a way anyone expected and Mason’s world is turned upside down in an instant. Only Harper seems to be able to help Mason. As the two of them begin to make room in their lives for each other, two more crises arise threatening not only their new relationship but Harper’s dream and the new life Mason has built for himself. A great read. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.
This book had way more than only one “Sweetest Moment”. It was full of them. This was a charming story that had real life characters facing very real issues. Mostly the conflicts boiled down to making time and emotional energy for what matters most to you. The gentle giant was just so worried about not being able to give time to two new relationships in his life that he desperately wants. Whereas the artist was worried she wouldn’t have time to develop her craft into a career if she has any “distractions”. So there is a lot of back-and-forth and shyness. But with the help of all their friends obviously things work out. I liked that both of them were artistic people. This was a great addition to the series. Rating: PG, clean
I loved reading The Sweetest Moment(Three Sisters Cafe Book 2)!!! All about Harper a young women in her mid-twenties who’s an Artist & Mason Turley a guy in his mid-twenties who’s wood carver & Lumberjack. Harper & Mason are in the same friends group, they are both artists & travel the same market circle. Both have feelings for the other but is unknown by each of them! Both also have personal reasons as to why, even though they may be perfect for each other, can’t pursue a relationship!! Read about Harper & Mason and see what finally brings them together!!! This is part of a series about a small coastal town in Portland, Oregon!!! Definite Read!!! I can’t wait to read, book three!!!
Harper was one amazing woman. I really liked Mason until he made me angry. Harper and Mason have both had crushes on each other without the other knowing. They both put off giving in to their attraction but are their reasons valid? or should they live their lives now and not wait? In my opinion Harper made the biggest sacrifice for Mason and he sacrificed her for his niece. I know angst is needed but I'll admit I was getting really worked up and even when the apology came I was still not happy. Harper was so much more gracious then I would have been even though I long to be. Loved loved the ending so am very happy with the ending and yes even with Mason.
I loved Harper from the first book. She’s such a loyal friend and has a wonderful personality.
Mason was so guarded it was hard to get a read on him. Poor guy had a challenge balancing much. Then a change came his way that challenged him to the core.
Harper had always been taught that having a successful career would be the only sure way in life. As a result she fought against her draw to Mason.
Thankfully they both developed and grew towards each other. This is a story of development, growth, and finding that love is the most important thing in life.
Such and enjoyable real. I look forward to more of this series.
I loved Mason & Harper. Mason was a little dense at time and Harper too quiet when they both should have stated what was on their minds. Harper has a heart of gold for forgiving Mason. I want to know want Harper's mother thought of her outcome & if she ever gave Harper her trust back. It was Harper's and she deserved it. Looking forward to the next book but would love to more on Estelle, Crew & Jayden!
The death of a lost sibling and her daughter brings Harper and Mason together. Before this event they had been fighting a mutual attraction for years. Then an accident and fears tears them apart. A vindictive mother and her controlling desires pushes them back to each other and this HEA comes to a close. I really enjoyed their story and can’t wait for the next in this series.
Harper and Mason have been friends for years. The chemistry between them is intense and growing. When Mason's sister passes suddenly, Mason is tasked with raising her two year old, Layla. As a single man, he has no idea how to take care of a toddler. Harper loves to help and feel needed so she steps in to teach him a few things and the close proximity heats us their realtionship.
2.5/5 STARS! This is a cute romance, & I enjoyed the audiobook a lot. It's kind of a slow burn romance & I didn't really understand why the 2 characters couldn't be together in the beginning. Overall, its short & sweet, & I did appreciate the plot. It dealt with real issues too, which made the characters more relatable.
Harper is a painter and Mason is a lumberjack look for his sister. Can they make time for each other? A very sweet, clean read set on the Oregon coast.
This is another hit by Laura Ann! I felt like this one was a little more emotional then her normal ones but still super good! I just shed a few extra tears during this beautiful story!
