Excellent read. Adventure fantasy. Great character development and intrigue a plenty. I am enjoying the Battleborn series and look forward to the next installment.
I highly recommend that you read this series from the beginning. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great story. If you're a fan of Conan type fantasy you'll love this. It's the second in the series So I'd advise you to read the first book, "Bloodborn" first. The characters are complex and interesting, the world is unique in several ways. There are enemies within and without. The author handles all the threads well holding your interest, providing plenty of action as you would expect from this type of fantasy. If you like primitive heroes with muscle you'll love this book.

This continues the story of two brothers, one strong and honest, and the other a snake in the grass. Reminds me a bit of Thor and Liki without the god powers. Story holds together nicely and the only problem with this book is the book after isn't published yet and it leaves you wanting to know what happens next. Nicely done, enjoyed the read!
