Barely Paused For A Meal Few Hours Sleep. Vol1 In One Weekend.
Easily, the best structured three volume plot I’ve encountered. Lee Mountford is genius. A pleasurable and entertaining read. Through and through.

(minor spoilers)Very enjoyable trilogy, I didn't realize going into it that all three stories were related. I listened to the book and found the narrator to largely be on point. My only issue with the stories as a whole was that when people started acting very strangely, past the little weird point, that the ones who confronted their behavior or their actual apparent wasting away that they were far too meek in attempting to get the other person (people) away from the house. If I was under the strong suspicion that this house was killing my spouse and when confronted she became borderline hysterical I think I would have taken stronger measures to get them out of there. If the house was somehow creating this timidity in the others I would have like that expressed in some way.
Other than that very enjoyable listen. I will likely do so again near Halloween!

The Perron Manor saga
When Chloe and Sarah inherit Perron Manor, it's like a dream home. Both sisters are enthralled by the beauty and vastness of the manor until they are plagued with nightmares and Sarah and Chloe's husband and daughter manage to escape from the manor. Chloe dies an excruciating death. The second book gives us the background of Chloe and Sarah and how their parents got caught in a web of intrigue by Chloe's uncle and Marcus who used Chloe's mother for summoning a dark entity. In the third book, Sarah and a paranormal investigation team try to save Chloe's spirit from incessant torture. I enjoyed the suspense and the chills from these stories which are terrifying to the extreme. Lee Mountford is indeed a horror maestro.

Finished this long ago and behind on my Goodreads... You can find a general description of the book anywhere, here are my thoughts.
Overall, dissapointed. This first Volume is the first 3 books in what I later discovered is a series. Book 1 sets-it up, not a bad story, but cleary a "part 1" that doesn't really stand on its own. Book 2 was the best of the 3 - a flashback to how it all started. Book 3 was pretty dull and predictable. Then it ended with a chapter clearly designed just to set-up additional books. Lame.
Not a bad entertaining 'listen' (audiobook), but there's a lot better out there, no doubt.

Amazing!
I absolutely loved this story! The strength Sarah had to close the door on her demons was inspiring. I can't wait to see what else Lee Mountford has in store for Luca, Sarah, and the rest of the crew that lived through a nightmare at Perron Manor. I would recommend this book for adults who have a love and respect for the supernatural events of our world.

Better than expected!
This first volume of The Haunted Collection is actually pretty good. It gives the history of Perron Manor along with a few twists thrown in. As you transition from one book to the next, they each get better and better, which easily keeps you reading on to find out what more could possibly take place.

I have to say I was hooked from book one. I enjoyed the way the characters progressed and the tempo of the story. I read all three books in a very short period of time and have already started on volume two, which contains books 4 and five I can say, that Lee Mountfort is now one of my favorite authors and will continue to read his books

An Engrossing Read!!!
The story will ensnare you from the first page to the last. It is very well written and the characters could be people you know. They are very believable, and you feel their emotions as the story evolves. I throughly enjoyed every word.

Excellent Demonic Horror
Mr. Mountford is a fantastic horror author. My favorite. Even better than Stephen King. I can't wait to read the next installment of Perron Manor.

I love scary stories and this co!!action did not disappoint. It is also a fast read...win win...I highly recommend this trilogy.

Meh
Tedious. Most of each book was slow and not remotely scary. They only got interesting in the last few chapters. Almost didn't finish.

Good books
Enjoyed the storyline. Characters felt real, not one dimensional. Good ending. I want a sequel to see how Luca, Sarah and David move forward.

First book was good, second was better, third was the best (in my opinion). I'm excited to continue this series.

Hmmm... Definitely didn't enjoy this one as much as the prequel, but am forging on with the second of the three in these volumes: 'Haunted - Devil's Door'. Will write a fuller review as I get further into the story.

One of the best horror books I have read. The haunted collection will have you on the edge of your seat. I was not able to put this book down.
