Joelle Crutcher doesn't like sports. Her dad, Tyler Crutcher pushed her to try out for weightlifting in their school for a scholarship. And most importantly, to get rid of her obesity. After all, she could lift sacks of flour for baking her yummy interesting cookies, which she sells to her friends, to augment her stipend for buying the good stuff, which her parents won't buy for her. In the process, she begins to like weightlifting as she builds camaraderie with her teammates, Brielle McGuire and Daniel Heidelberg. Together, they chase their Olympic dreams. Plus, she's motivated to lose weight after developing a crush on the infamous Rainier Knight, a professional race car driver who, later on, is convicted of drug trafficking. Being obese and unpopular, Joelle doesn't know how to drop hints to Rainier that she likes him. Frequently, she encounters him in a very awkward situation, but he always rescued her from her clumsiness. It's a twisted fate that soon he finds himself falling in love with her. Could these athletes, fighting for their dreams, discover themselves and find their one true love as they come of age?
