I grew up in Port Dover, Ontario, and was educated at York University before choosing a career in teaching. Most of my time these days is spent with my wife Alisha, and an ever-growing library of excellent books that have become my best friends around the witching hour.
I find if I continue this thing, it'll start to sound like some kind of dating service, so I'm just going to finish by saying that if you read my stuff, you'll know me.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review
This story/book has a lot going on it it, for example, you have fantasy, adventure, mystery, romance, and a little psudeo religion. The author does a good job of weaving all of these elements into a coherent story that keeps the reader engaged and involved. There isn't to much in the back story, or as to why things are the way that they are, but the reader's own imagination is enough to fill the void.
