This short story is like reading two separate stories with the same outcome but... One outcome leads to death and the other outcome does not lead to death but is alive. The alive outcome made me think of the movie called A Wonderful Life. What is weird about this story was the ending. I could not understand it but I am going to give it a shot... The second story is about Brown bunnies. Two bunnies died and the mother bunny is alive with one child...ok now the man that is alive had one bunny in a Easter basket but at the end there was two. So I am thinking the the second bunny is reunited with his mother. Ok so maybe I am wrong but I have it a shot. Now there is a moral to this story. Don't wait to do things because you will suffer the consequences.

I honestly didn’t make it past the first chapter. The book itself just wasn’t for me. That doesn’t mean that someone else won’t absolutely love it, just that it didn’t resonate with me.

It has a kind of classic noir style in some of the descriptions and narration, while the inner thoughts and world perception of the main character was something that was a bit more arrogant to the point of entitlement. It turned me off from the character and the overall story.

As with almost any book, I do encourage others to read it and decide for themselves, as they may find enjoyment where I did not.

This is an interesting short story with an excellent way of pointing out how actions, and their consequences, are often ignored. Sometimes, only after it is to late, it appears to be such an obvious consideration. Suspense flows throughout and the conclusion is surprising. I enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it.
