“Perhaps in this modern era it is sometimes necessary to take certain shortcuts, but classic principles should never be compromised. No method is perfect in any activity in life, but a systematic method is always better than simply following a personal preference.

The objective of victory in any competition is important. It animates the spirit, confidence, and ambition of the individual. However, the good feeling of having performed well is better than any temporary success.”

it's not just a good book, it's literally the book. the one and only book you need. it extremely practical, correct, rational, and empathetic. it should be a requirement for anyone who wants to call themself a "trainer."
