Insta Love 💖

Firstly I want to say whilst I enjoyed this book it did feel a little rushed i know they're novellas so they're not meant to be long but i would've preferred a slower burning love story especially considering Mariah had two small kids but seemed to jump right in with Austin hours after meeting him it makes the fact that they're fated seem like they have no rational thoughts.
I will of course continue to read Heather's books as they are an easy read.

Austin plagued by demons from his traumatic upbringing jumps at the opportunity to get away for a bit and help Bea at the Charlotte pack. Mack asks him to drop some stuff to her sister that lives there and from the moment he meets Mariah he feels instantly drawn to her. Mariah is just trying to stay afloat raising her twins Abbi and Benji whilst holding down her job. What starts as Austin merely just helping someone in need quickly escalates when they realize they're mates. But Austins demons return the moment he's not with Mariah and when he turns to alcohol it's something Mariah just can't accept around her kids.
When Alpha's from another pack claim Mariah is withholding their grandkids she's forced to take them to the father of her child's family that she never knew because he died b4 even knowing she was pregnant.
Mariah knows from the moment she arrives something is off and she'll have to trust people she doesn't know in order to get out safely with her kids but doing so could bring war to her own packs doorstep. It's a risk Austin is willing to take because a life without Mariah or her kids is not an option he's willing to take.

“All that mattered was you, You became this light that illuminated all my darkness, You chased away the demons without even trying” Austin

The Third installment of the Southern wereWolves Enforcers book, we get to read more about Austin and the demons that he fights on a daily Basis, Being an enforcer for his Pack is a lot for just one wolf, but he is the best of his Pack and is soon out to help Train the Future Enforcers in a Neighboring Pack,

Austin is soon Met by an amazing woman who doubts herself but see’s that there is something electric between her and Austin. Can Austin Control his Demons and put them to bed once and for all to claim what he knows is rightfully his? Or will his demons cost him everything he has ever wanted?

Mariah is the strong independent single mother who does what she must to protect not only her heart but her children. Soon Mariah is faced with a decision to let someone she just met in or make him leave, but outside forces have other plans for her children. Can Mariah fight on two fronts, her heart and the other overbearing Alpha who thinks she owns what she deems is hers.

Heather MacKinnon has done a wonderful job with this third book in this series. It was over too quickly for me but every page had me rooting for Austin and Maria to see what was right there in front of them. I can't wait for the next Book to hit the shelves.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
POV: Dual 1st Person
M/F
Stand Alone? This couple’s story is complete but due character crossover and continuing backstories this series is best read in order.

Every time I start one of these books I tell myself “I’m going to take it slow. I need to savor this book not rush through it.” And every time I get so caught up in the non stop story that I end up devouring the book in a couple of hours. It happens every time. This was no exception.

Heather MacKinnon writes such and enthralling tale that I can’t seem to do anything BUT devour it. The action, the adventures, the steam, the romance, I just can’t get enough! I am absolutely obsessed with the southern werewolves! I don’t know how she manages to make each book better than the last but it keeps happening so I won’t question it.

The redemption story of Austin is magnificent. Mariah was a character in a previous book I didn’t much care for but now I love her. I keep thinking “This couple is my favorite of this series.” Then I read the next couple and THEY become my favorite. I am excited to see what the next book brings!

Happy Reading My Friends!

I was given an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion, freely given. “Austin” instantly became my favorite of the Enforcer series. While it is a stand alone, you are not doing it, or yourself, justice if you don’t read The Southern Werewolves Sisters series to get the back story on the Enforcers.

“Austin,” in true MacKinnon fashion, pulled at the heart strings. We have an enforcer, Austin, fighting his demons and finds his angels in Mariah, Abbi and Benji. His softer side finally comes through when the little wolves wrap themselves around his little finger.

While there are some steamy scenes, this story definitely reveals the tender, loving side and the grit and determination of both Austin and Mariah. Definitely a very well done, action packed, roller coaster ride.

While I think it is the best story of the series, I cannot wait for the next one.

Another Amazing Read!

Austin meets Mariah when he takes the clothes to her. He feels drawn is drawn to her and stays to help her out. Mariah is a single Mom to two children that is overwhelmed due to her nanny quitting. Mariah feels so comfortable and in tune with Austin. They both realize that they are fated mates. Austin makes a terrible mistake due to his problem. He finally admits he needs help, Mariah is his safe place. That all comes tumbling down when the her children's grandparents enter the picture. Mariah and Austin are going to have a fight on their hands.

I truly enjoyed this book. With Austin's issues, to the what the grandparent's are really up to. I really didn't like Mariah before, but is much more likable now. Can't wait for the next book. I was drawn in from the first chapter to the last, can't wait for read the next one.

Austin was a quick and easy book to read, where we can see a protagonist who has his faults and tries to change them especially after meeting Mariah, who has 2 children Abbi and Benji, he instantly feels that connection not only with Mariah but with her children, and although he tries to stop drinking, he feels powerless, when he is separated from them, he does everything possible to have them back by his side.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I think Austin is now my favourite enforcer. He has his demons from his past but meeting his fated mate Mariah is a major way of working through them and putting them behind him.
When hearing about Mariah in "Matthias" I wasn't sure I would like her. Macks twin but working and having her kids..didn't seem she cared for her sister much. But I'm so happy it was the opposite. She just wasn't wearing Macks designs because she was scared to ruin them.
In thus book there is Drama with Mariahs past and her kids being the grandchildren of a other packs Alphas. I won't say much more as to not ruin the book for others but it really hit me hard as a mother.
I was hoping for more with the drama and seeing what happens but that just gives me more anticipation for the next book!

This series is what I would call "shifter light": all the characters are wolf shifters but the reference and impact of that fact on the stories are minimal, other than the "fated mates" element. Nonetheless, the books are well written, well-paced, steamy enough and overall very enjoyable.

Although the entire series- is described as a standalone, it is very much part of an over-arching world and therefore there are a few missing bits of information and explications. It doesn't stop you from following and enjoying the book but if you're not a fan of open-ended references and loose facts, you probably want to start back with the "original" interconnected series (Southern Werewolves).

Austin's story is one of my favorites in this series. I like Austin's "flaws" and demons and the way he's learning to heal from them. Mariah's storyline isn't all that straight forward and some elements don't entirely make sense (compared to the information we got from Book 1) but it is enjoyable overall.

Austin & Mariah: triggers- kidnapping, forced captivity, domestic abuse, child abuse, alcoholism. now this book was a lot better than the previous books. the drama was so thrilling from start to finish. Mariah is the single mother of fraternal twins who needs help with childcare and Austin is in town training new enforcers. when they meet, Austin offers help but can't explain why he feels at home playing with and taking care of the twins. this story was equal parts sweet, steamy and thrilling especially when another pack tries to stake their claim on the babies. so much action. Mariah is not a damsel... she's a mama 🐺!

Austin has just found his fated mate and her two twin children and he will do anything and everything it takes to keep them together. When they are forced to visit their grandparents in another pack, he goes with them. Something is wrong and soon they have to fight to get them back. Will they be strong enough or will he lose his family forever. I love this series and these characters. I am hooked.

This was a good fated mates paranormal romance. They are not aware of their fated connection, so it mostly plays out like a paranormal romance with spice and some danger. A good read.

This story is just Hot! A single mom and a troubled man, doesn't sound good right? WRONG! She not only chases his demons away just in time to help through the toughest part of his life. He helps save her little ones without thinking it would get him points. He does it because he not only falls for her but her kids too. This story leads right into the next in the series and I can't wait to see what happens next. Who will with the battle and who will win the war?

Austin is taking clothes to Mack’s sister in Charlotte where he is going to train new recruits for the pack. When he gets to Mariah’s it is to a chaotic scene of two children screaming and the mother pulling her hair out trying to conduct business on the phone. So, he decides to step in and help out. He feels at home here and the kids are great. What starts out as a chance meeting turns into much more! Only, Austin has devils in his closet, which causes him to drink too much. He hides this from Mariah until she finally catches him and it put her children in danger. Things are already tough enough but now he will have a choice to make. When Mariah’s dead ex’s family all of a sudden shows interest in just the children, she will have no choice but to take them to visit. Once there, they are all in serious trouble and it will take relying on Austin and some others to get them and some others out of there…what happens if they get caught? This shifter family is not above killing others to get what they want! In another exciting tale from the shifter enforcers, comes a woebegone tale of love and what it can do~ Do not miss out~ Another five-star read and Heather’s characters are always true to life…
