Rate this book
Rosé’s Thorns is a short compilation of poems, a sample from a larger work of poems, and is poet and educator Raven G. Wilhelm's debut published book that takes readers on a journey through healing, heartbreak, and learning about love. Exploring the various emotions and impact of relationships and life, the poetry in this book invites readers on a journey through understanding the "roses" and "thorns" of love and embarking on a journey of understanding the importance of self love. The poems within Rosé’s Thorns connect with diverse audiences who have experienced heartbreak and a need for healing in their lifetimes.

Released in time for National Poetry Month (April), Wilhelm's intention was to invite readers on a poem-a-day reading of Rosé’s Thorns with a few additional poems for extended reading. The release of Rosé’s Thorns will accompany a podcast that the author will host to share her spoken word poems and give analysis and context for the experiences communicated throughout the book, as well as sharing other experiences from the poet's life.
