Niñera para los Marines

Rate this book

RATING: 3/3.5 stars to Nanny for the SEALs ★ ★ ★

Coming back to a Cassie Cole RH romance is usually synonymous with comfort zone territory for me. Her titles have since become familiar comforts and I couldn't not call it a satisfactory reading year without her name to round off my calendar. Cole's romances characteristically commandeer action, comedy and entertainment, always seized by a multiple-partnership found family situation and centrally thrusted by an armed, actionable plot. With more than a few of her titles cached on my kindle app, I was spoiled for choice and after a toss up, Nanny for the SEALs won the coin flip. I dove in with a lot of enthusiasm, which her books routinely seem to bring out in me. The author's a very fun writer of the reverse harem trope and her courtships are equally fun-loving and light, but with Nanny for the SEALs, the raillery levitates and the story endows itself with the long leg of humour. A vivacious combination of a high-spirited polygamous unit and an action comedy, with a paunchy side of funny. Even if all her books were anonymously penned, I could recognise the signature of Cole's author style ten miles off. There's also the obvious lure of those multiple partner (and single-partner) smut scenes, which indisputably fulfills some romance reader requirements without over-centralising the bedroom activity. Her romances really aren't the most developed, and it's advisable knowing that ahead of any one read, but they're no less enjoyable to adventure through. Since it's been a while since I last Indulged, I can't remember the specifics of other Cole romances but her narrative style is similarly bound by formulaic and pattern-centred design, and I typically enjoy the comfort of that predictability spiced up with a very readable plot. While I'm usually a member of her comfort crowd and can overlook the shortcomings by favouring the entertainment and escapade, admittedly, with this read, I was more bothered by the flaws than coddled by the comfort.

As is the case with most of Cassie Cole's romances, I mostly favour the male MC first introduced (who usually gets more page time, and heroine time). They share the commencing connection with the heroine, and in this book, Rogan takes the role. But in a surprising turn of events, I actually liked him the least. And I didn't just like him the least, I'm not sure I liked him at all. His characterisation is very stiff. For one who breaks form and uncharacteristically commences the sexual relationship with Heather, Rogan's strangely portrayed as the most neutral of the three and his attraction with Heather felt distracted and in a 'state of pause'. As the story pushes forward, his casual relationship perspective portrays him as mostly uninterested in pursuing anything further with Heather. Which was fine to begin with because the heroine mirrors the feeling of enjoying a convenient tryst, but it doesn't bode well with forward-movement. Soon enough, as the predominant male MC, he fades into the background and I started to subconsciously categorise him as the non-essential interest I lost interest in. He became distanced, was stuck in commander mode and seemed to prefer the lack of responsibility that comes with not having to commit himself at all. He appeared grateful to not have the sole responsibility of being in a relationship with Heather alone, which doesn't signal the strongest romance vibe. The relationship feels like a stressor he doesn't need. Just like I wasn't sure he was motivated by believable feelings for her, I was also dubious of his being appropriately built for a relationship. He's more like the overworked, overpowered, overtired businessman who doesn't need the added complication of a woman. I think this SEAL in authority requires a hiatus to recharge and recalibrate to bring himself back to rights. Sadly, he wasn't a strong character, even if I did like him to begin with. That Brady becomes the first to confess an 'I love you' before him when Rogan's initiates the private rendezvous was sudden. From the angle of characterisation, even though he's the superior to the other two and has a background as a commanding SEAL operative, his decision-making ability was remarkably sloppy. He came to some senses in the end but it was hard to overlook his persistently poor decision making through the entire read. He doesn't read particularly well.

Brady's the more gregarious, playful and easygoing in personality of the three. Quick to make a joke, boom with laughter, natter without a filter, move by impulse rather than prudence or completely miss a pointed remark. I actually found him very endearing and Asher says it best when he describes him like this: 'But Brady was another story entirely. Despite being the eldest of us at thirty-one, he had the willpower of an untrained puppy. Wave a treat in his face and he’d follow you off a cliff.' And that's just, well, adorable. I couldn't not be endeared by the description. What I appreciated most about him Is that his inability to be anything but himself lends itself to his easy and believable interest in Heather, and when the crisis point hits the story, he very much was motivated without artifice and desperate to get her to safety. It felt much more genuine. Quiet, thoughtful Asher is the sweeter, softer addition to the collective. A hero who's quick to blush is one I have a soft spot for, even as ripped as he may be in form. But reader folk, wherever is there harm in a muscular form that flushes crimson at the barest hint of embarrassment. Hint: there is not. Asher's interest in heather felt a little deeper by comparison. His warmth and affection tends to do the talking. And for someone who's more sober and sagacious, his unplanned one-liners were a treat. A quick description of this blonde-haired ex-SEAL: 'I took the opportunity to check Asher out. He was ridiculously cute. With his glasses and his modesty and the way he shyly shrugged his shoulders before looking down at the ground. He was like a sexy clerk. I wanted him to lick me like a postage stamp.' Where there's warmth, there's also connection and I felt that mostly with Asher. It wasn't deep and well-explored (like the relationships comprehensively) but it was there. And where one likens thee to an irresistibly crude gesture that sexualises a postal service worker? I see the appeal.

To begin with I was fully behind the story. The comedy value, the raised stakes, Heather's audacity and the infiltration of sneaking into a private suite to raid the space for opportunity was admired. While Cole's romances are usually light-hearted this one itches with comedy relief, and I absolutely loved that. It was exciting, well-written (bar some errors) and page-turned me into a giddy gremlin who wanted to do nothing more than to turn those pages. The kidnap scene was exceptional. Priceless and riotous in all its truth serum glory. A further ways in, things gradually took a turn from great pleasure to something more discouraging and I found it harder and harder to return to my original anticipation. The derailment was unexpected. Apart from the improbabilities and inconsistencies, I faced the reverse phenomenon of having a character grow off me rather than on me. In addition to that, what was comparable with every hero was that the flow from feeling to feeling lacks a steady glide. The romances could be sweet, smutty, day-to-day and easeful but not particularly exploratory. Instead of taking the opportunity to strengthen each connection, the independent interrelationships felt stuck in the casual zone, with unsuspecting declarations realised within a moment of crisis. A lot more could be done to improve the emotional intimacy each of the SEALs have with Heather, and I was undecided on how I felt with the dynamic transition.

All in all, for all the author's fun and writer faculty she can absolutely afford to play more creatively into the polyamorous affiliation, to make interesting moves concerning the romance. She definitely has the wherewithal for it. The story easily has a lot going for it but it's also challenged by what works against it, and that seemed to trip me up more often than not. I really enjoyed all the action elements, the humour, the plot movement and the nannying sequence of events, but it is and can be foiled by the outcome of three very qualified, practiced and seasoned men who all but blunder and botch their way through a fiasco and a heroine who fails to read likeably and pushed too far into the self-involved profile. . Unfortunately, it didn't work for me here in the like too, even as I appreciated Heather's pull-no-punches candid commentary on all things. The eighth addition to the family wasn't needed. I have few qualms over championing an irrespectively unapologetic heroine with a potty mouth and attitude in stride. Heather was fierce with it. Her entrance commences a bold, assertive and opportunistic leading lady who takes any chances where she can get them. What starts as hilarious brazen unrepentance tapers into a mostly self-absorbed heroine who doesn't wear her boldness well. As much I wanted to find fierce love in her, I only liked her until I didn't. As a heroine the attachment wasn't there and neither did a connection really light a fire between us.

When this leading lady gets outed for gatecrashing the SEALs' occupied suite, I only laughed that she swiftly managed to school an entire room of professionals into blame, when in all realness, she was at fault. Still, after commonly reading from leading ladies who are coming consistently full of apology even when they're blameless, I relished Heather's shamelessness and blamelessness. I appreciated that she was absent of it but where her character further collapses in favourability is her remarkable naivety in believing career success will land at her feet without the work it'll take to get there. She seems to crave all the easy-access benefits of fame, an easy ride to the zenith without a self-actualised sense of knowing that advancement, career launch and fame requires more than just shaking on a deal, believing that a promise made will be all the graft she needs to circumvent real work experience to secure career glory. I was honestly a tad speechless by her thought process sometimes, she seemed legitimately unmoved by the idea of doing the legwork to get there (despite this being her chosen path) and stalls any potential work in favour of putting all her eggs in one golden basket, held by her Navy SEALS. A lack of real effort doesn't call to a great sense of committment for someone who entered the story reciting a starving artist spiel about how difficult her life situation is. Initially, she makes complaint over being a struggling actress but is void of the application it takes to effort her way to better opportunities. Her doubts are completely reasonable but I didn't find that she was. It's her big dream yet it always seems to come second, and I wasn't sure why. For all her mother wit, this conflict leaves her astuteness (and her characterisation) constantly in question. She doesn't always wear her boldness or righteousness well. Only come the epilogue did she have an unsuspected shift in mindset, but it felt far too late by that point for the change to happen. When I earlier made reference to a character who grew off me rather than on me? Sadly, that was indeed Heather Hart. I think it might be fair to say that her characterisation falls to gainsay.

My affection for the story did gradually wear off, which is why I dropped my rating. I did assume this would be the another Cassie Cole favourite to complete the reading year. But as is usually par for the course, I did receive splendid entertainment value, a decent story, laughable situations, levity and amusement, action, some polygamous fun and three strapping SEALs, even as it bore some faults that slackened what I thought would be a more loveable romance. No one can say Heather Hart's life isn't excitement central. Bolstered by her father's mantra, a fake ring and a convincing performance Heather - and fellow actor bestie Maurice - find themselves at a privately owned suite where she puts a life lesson into practice and shoves for elbow room where she can get it. Improvising her way into an opportunity that turns into another opportunity, she ends up subject to an eventful sequence of events that involves scheming, impersonation, giving a room full of big names a piece of her furious mind and a suspicious SEAL-orchestrated kidnapping. While her original aims remain unmet, her life does change because the three security agents she fooled? They're also desperate single fathers to little hellraisers, and happen to believe that this irreverent intruder can rise to the challenge no other nanny before her has accomplished.

With a generous paycheck and an offer her starving artist self couldn't refuse, Heather accepts a proposition from her kidnappers, which involves taking care of highly misbehaving makers of mischief. And to remedy the poor parenting job the fathers have done so far, but in defense of these SEALs, balancing a thriving security organisation in a competitive field isn't an easy balance with the parenting lifestyle. The risk level of being special operatives forced them to face what dying in action would leave behind so together they worked to action a plan, and some time after, became fathers to three little human triplets. An unorthodox familial unit. The author's reverse harem romances naturally encourage a heroine's sense of sexual freedom (without overindulging the sexual setup), and she does so with every one of her reverse harems romances. And as a memorable writer of sub-genre she's worth looking into for any and all curious readers. I'd effortlessly recommend her for a good time. I rarely run into RHs that synthesise comicality and light entertainment with action, and Cassie Cole unionises the fusion in a way that invites and emulates the setup of some of my favourite action/comedy screenplays (only without the polyamory). Still committed to moving my way through her backlist, more do indeed cometh! As a non-series reader, I do lean more towards standalones that can legitimately stand alone (as in, not having to work through follow-up side character romances), and it's a mark in the author's favour that she writes singles that are ready to mingle without a commitment to other interconnected storylines. Because for me, it means I can make it a mission to possibly polish off everything she's written without my pesky reading quirk limiting me. Not my favourite from her but I'm decidedly unfinished with her adulterated adventures for grown ups.

Content Warning/Listing: smut scenes with a bit of kink (food play). single partner and two-partner bedroom scenes. Profanity. Violence. Mentions child deaths, stalkers/stalking and multiple death threat mentions.

Hilarious with Some Danger

Oh my gawd!!!! Heather finding herself injected with sodium thiopental / truth serum drug is absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarious! I'm rolling with laughter, nearly to tears. 😂😂 Idris Elba and foot fetishes and "Big Beefy Security School" and more fly out of her mouth. It's absolutely priceless!

And then there's this description of Brady...

'Despite being the eldest of us at thirty-one, he had the willpower of an untrained puppy. Wave a treat in his face and he’d follow you off a cliff.

And a woman as gorgeous and charming as Heather was more alluring than any treat.' -- Asher Solak

To say this is a fun read would be an understatement! This is possibly the dirtiest romcom I've ever read! I'm not sure that Cassie Cole intended it to be viewed as such but the wit is awesome!!! (And yes, all of those explanation points are appropriate! 😜 ) Even when there is a heaping pile of suspense thrown in, little comedic moments break through. And then there's those last few chapters! 😄😄 Whether you like RH or not, you should read this! 💜🔥💜💥💜🎉💜

Another good Cassie Cole reverse harem!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙🖤💚❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍
Character development: 😚😔🤓🥰

The heroine: Heather - she grew up in Texas and worked as a nanny before moving to L.A. She has been in Los Angeles for three years, she is an out of work actress and her acting coach gave her and her best friend Maurice tickets to a Lakers game, though they are seated so far back in the nosebleed section that they can hardly see the game. So, they sneak to the suite level to get a better look at the game. She lives by the motto, “you don’t get what you want in life, you get what you fight for.”

The Heroes: Rogan, Brady & Asher - three former Navy SEALs who own a very successful security firm (HLS Security) that caters to the rich and famous. They have kids that are out of control and need a nanny.
Rogan - he has a 6-year-old boy named Micah. He was the commanding officer of their SEAL team and has good instincts on how to handle most situations. He is also the de facto leader of the group at HLS.
Brady - he has a 6-year-old boy named Dustin. Brady is from Boston, with a thick accent (sounds like Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting). He is also a bit of a goofball.
Asher - he has a 6-year-old girl named Cora. He is a bit more of a stickler for the rules than the other two. He focuses on the intel and technological side of the business.

The Story: Heather and Maurice snuck into the suite owned by HLS Security at the Lakers game, where Heather pretends to be an actress that was invited to the game but hadn’t shown up. Though after embarrassing themselves and nearly getting kicked out, they are able to escape, but not before making a huge impression on everyone in the room including Rogan, Brady and Asher. The guys, thinking she might be from a rival firm, checked into her background and decide to hire her to help get their kids in line before they start Kindergarten in 6 months.

The guys have an extremely odd home life. Not only are their three kids all the same age, but they don’t have any mothers in the picture and the guys all live together and raise the kids together in the same home. Each kid has their own room and calls all three of the guy's Daddy, but each has their own. It takes a while for them to explain their whole situation to Heather.

I love how detailed Cassie Cole’s books are. The two boys are way out of control when Heather first gets the nanny job. The little girl, Cora is sweet and spends most of the time reading on her own. I like how Heather systematically puts the kids on a schedule and gets them to start behaving better. It isn’t immediate, but her efforts do work, especially after she moves into their home and is able to stop the dads from undoing all her efforts by being lazy and too lenient with the kids at night.

I lost interest halfway through. These guys are supposedly former SEALs but can't teach their own kids discipline? And undermine the nanny's efforts to instill discipline and establish a schedule? How did they ever get through SEAL training? Of all people, they should understand the importance of sticking to a schedule and following rules. It makes no sense whatsoever that they wouldn't create and enforce rules for their kids to follow, or that Heather of all people had to explain it to them.

Also? They're lousy at their job. Really such a joke as security experts. I've read so many romances with SEALs, special forces, Marines, and private security guys, and I've never met any heroes as paranoid and inept as these three right here. I mean, they couldn't even pull off a faux kidnapping without giving themselves away! They were so fixated on their rival that they lost objectivity and were sloppy about analysing the situation, jumping to conclusions too quickly. They were also more concerned about how messing up the job would impact their reputation and their business than they were about their client and how she would be affected. And, Rogan insisted on doing surveillance two nights in a row despite being exhausted, and therefore couldn't defend himself properly and apprehend the bad guy. Bad decisions after bad decisions.

Rogan's choice to pursue Heather after telling the others that they should not also left a bad taste in my mouth. He really shouldn't have done it because Heather was his employee and thus in a more vulnerable position. But worse, he and his "brothers" had an agreement and he went behind their backs and slept with Heather anyway. His excuse, "I couldn't help myself" is the lamest excuse in the history of mankind and most unacceptable. Again, who knows how he managed to be successful in the SEALs when he had such little self-control? His lack of integrity and loyalty to his "brothers" was also a concern and I did not like him at all.

I felt that Heather all along had an eye out for the main chance and that her decisions were mostly self-centred. I didn't feel she was motivated that much by feelings for the men. She's the one who suggests a threesome to Brody and Asher. She distracts Brody while he's on the job and then later feels guilty when things go wrong, so she offers to be a decoy to lure the bad guy out. All the time, she's really only thinking about herself and what she wants. When the guys put her up in the Four Seasons hotel, she takes full advantage of the hotel's services and tips lavishly, greedily gleeful that it's all expenses paid. I think she was just too brash for me. I would have appreciated a heroine who thought about how much it was all costing the guys and who wondered if it was okay to order two masseuses to come to the room for a personal massage session. I didn't feel like she was considerate of people's feelings at all.

I also didn't see how she could have had a waitlist of 15 families requesting her nanny services in Dallas if she'd only worked for two families over three years.

Finally, a blushing SEAL? You gotta be kidding me. I don't believe anyone in the military could blush. They'd get razzed like crazy and might even get it beaten out of them. I don't doubt that a SEAL might be quiet or reticent but shy is stretching the limits of my imagination a bit.

Basically if you were to ask me how much of a hero these guys were on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give them a 2. They were absolutely lousy hero material, a huge let-down and not anything you want to read in a book about SEALs.

3.5

This was a really fun time, you’ll find no complaints from me. I didn’t go in expecting much, and while it didn’t exactly blow my mind, it was a really enjoyable read.

Rogan was our original boy toy, he was a lot of fun. Asher was the quiet type but I felt the most emotion from him. Brady was a damn goofball and I loved him for it. When he was playing around with Heather, pretending to be in an action movie - my heart burst.

I think I would have liked to see more develop, met go into the relationship, at least a tiny bit of struggle adjusting but I’m glad there was no insane drama. I also wish the whole pregnancy thing hadn’t have happened and they focussing on their relationship together instead. I’m still very happy though.

This was my first book by Cassie Cole, and I had a good time. Heather was spunky, sexy, and hilarious. That scene in the warehouse where the guys give her sodium thiopental aka “truth serum” was a freaking riot. I was shocked to find out why the boy kids had regressed with their behavior! The smexy scenes where well written, but I could have done without the unplanned pregnancy.

This was another fab read by this author and an enjoyable 'nanny' story. It had fab depth, quite varied characters that were likable, suspense, and action, to go with the steam you'd expect in an RH romance. Heather was a strong character and in tune with her goals. The guys each offered a unique personality but they all were so attractive ;) Altogether, this was a real page turner and I love that I can count on this author for a fun, engaging, read.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Heather Hart, Rogan Holt, Brady Lowe, & Asher Solak. When this book opens we find that Heather and her roommate/best friend Maurice are in the nose bleed section at a Lakers basketball game. Heather however has a plan and she is going to get them into one of the boxes she just needs her first opening. She gets it with the help of a prop and a sweet security guard. From there they sees a the owner of a talent agency leaving a box so they figure it will be full of actors and they can just blend in. When they get in though tings are not what they assumed in the hall. The men inside mistake Heather for an actress and when she shows up the gloves are off. Rogan, Brady, & Asher make up HLS Security. They have pulled together some people to help get more business in different areas. Since their re wow other security firms in the area and they are actively trying to undermine HLS they would really like these clients. When the find out that Heather is a fraud and goes off on the guest and the guys they have to determine if she is plant for another company. When they learn she isn't they know the original reason they wanted to talk to this woman holds true still. She will be perfect to keep their little angels/devils in line. Can they all find a HEA though they didn't know was possible or is a working relationship all they will every have?

Another amazing hit by this author. These guys not only know how to show a girl a good time they know how to get the job done too. There is so much more I want to tell you about this book. I will say though I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Easily my favorite Cassie Cole book. I loved all the characters, both primary and secondary. Heather is a genuinely fun heroine to follow, the situation is ridiculous enough to be entertaining without crossing over to stupid, and the relationship conflict was kept to a minimum.

If I had to change anything it would be the ending, which to me could have been a bit more romantic. But honestly, I still liked the one we got. This is a cast of characters I’ll be missing because they were so fun to follow, each and every one of them.

I received this ARC via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. As I’ve said before, I always give honest reviews whether people appreciate them or not.

Heather and her best friend Maurice are at the Staples Center in Los Angeles watching a Lakers basketball game. They have seats up in the nosebleed section so Heather decides they should wander down to either find better seats or maybe sneak into one of those fancy suites. When they decide which one they would sneak into, it wasn’t as full as they thought it would be. The three men hosting the game thought she was a movie star and she didn’t correct that assumption. Rogan, Brady and Asher are at the game trying to bring in new clients. They own a security business and want to get contracts with more businesses. Of course when Heather walks in, they did think she was an actress, but they were way more attracted to her than they thought they should be.

So the whole part when they are in that suite trying to fool the men, I thought I was going to hate this book. Why? Because it pointed out to me that I am older than I think, I don’t have the guts I used to and I refuse to remember being a young fool. All right, besides all that, yes, Heather and Maurice get found out, but I forgot to mention that the men that own the security business are all Navy SEALs. Being SEALs they do find out all about the pair, specifically that Heather used to be a nanny before she moved to L.A. to try to make it in show business. A nanny is exactly what they need. They have a set of triplets, two boys and a girl, and the boys are real hellions. Heather is confident enough to think she can handle them. Bwahahahahahaha! Ok, as with other stories from Ms. Cole, this is a Reverse Harem story. This story had tons of twists, turns and laughs. What a fun read!

On a trois enfants ensemble.

Cela me fait penser à mon homme… Grrrr! 10/10

Just no. No for easy forgiveness for kidnapping. No for giving sweets to kids as rewards. No for letting a civilian go with you to work and letting her distract you. JUST NO! I don't think author thought this book through or has any idea about what kind of training goes into becoming a SEAL. I need logical plots to enjoy my books 🤷🏻‍♀️

A weak RH. The characters were decent individually but things that would have made for a better plot were glossed over in favor of more bland options. Basically was an instalove too which never is my jam. And the spice was decent but we didn’t even get a scene with all four MCs! I find it ironic that one of the characters initials spells out my overall feeling of this book: MEH.

great book

I really enjoyed this book, loved the storyline with the twists and suspense, the blood and kidnapping.
It has great characters, just love the naughty kids. Oh and can’t forget Maurice - great bff.
Lots of sexual tension and steamy scenes.
Overall a great read

Holy hand grenades! I love this book so hard. It's HILARIOUS, mysterious, action-packed, and fun. This is a contemporary, reverse harem, too. It seems to me that Cassie Cole might be expanding into romantic comedy with this particular story. While she has written other books with military men, and most of them have a few chuckle-worthy moments, this one is super funny. From the beginning, there's a more conversational tone in the narration, which adds to the hilarity. After the kidnapping things went from a bit silly to uncontrollable laugh-snorting, shaking, and crying.

The guys - Rogan, Asher, and Brady - are former Navy SEALS who are now working in personal security while also raising three children. The triplets - Cora, Dustin, and Micah - are quite the handful, and may have been blacklisted by all the childcare organizations in the greater LA area. So when Heather and her best friend, Maurice, sneak into the guys' suite at a Lakers game, it starts a chain reaction of epic proportions.

While there is one thing that bothered me throughout this book, I HAVE to give it five big, glowing stars. I seriously appreciate the sexy stuff and the excellent mystery (red herrings galore!) along with the suspense. The climax is freaking perfect. The denouement took the funny and ran with it. The epilogue and the bonus scene had me laughing my bippy off. Yes, I always get the bonus scenes. (Sign up for the email newsletter. it doesn't fill up my inbox.)

Oh, and that thing that wasn't quite right: The triplets are six years old, but they are going into Kindergarten. At first, I thought it was a typo, but the age and the school stuff are repeated several times. It's odd that they are 6, they all can read, but they are starting Kindergarten. Maybe they do things differently in California, but as far as I know, six year olds would be in first or second grade. I started first grade when I was five.

Tons of typos, but nothing too distracting. Some of the typos are pretty funny.

Ex Navy Seal RH

The relationship between Heather, Rogan, Brady & Asher was really good, they made a good team and I liked her growing relationship with the kids also. It didn’t take long for them to turn their relationship from just physical to love though.
Maurice was a brilliant character and I loved how his relationship came about they were so lovely together, he wasn’t just funny he was a great supportive friend to Heather.
Now to what bugged me about the story:
These men state from the beginning of the book how cutthroat it is to have a security business guarding the rich and famous and that 2 other companies are their competitors and one in particular could be a threat.
Yet they take Heather on the stakeout and one of them has a full blown conversation about the kids while not always looking through the binoculars.
Then another starts a conversation that leads to her doing a smexy act on him, and then all hell breaks loose with gunshots… Why…. because he wasn't paying attention.
Then the stupid woman Heather goes looking for one of them while he is chasing the shooter and she knows he is chasing the shooter yet she stupidly leaves the room when he told her not to and then she has a gun in her face and they loose the shooter because of her actions in not staying in the hotel room.
Sorry but that part spoiled it for me as no ex Navy Seal who is targeting a threat to one of their clients would act so stupidly on a stakeout.
The author would have made it more believable if Heather had stayed home or stayed in the room as no one acts that stupidly when she knows he is hunting a suspected potential killer.
I was surprised at who the stalkers were as I was thinking along the lines of who the men suspected.
I did like that Heather & Maurice got the chance to live their dream and I particularly liked the 6 years later bonus epilogue and the young couple sneaking around it was a nice touch what she did.

Heather Hart has been an aspiring actress in Los Angeles for the last three years. She and her friend Maurice are at the Lakers game. Heather manages to get them on floor with the suites. Now, they are looking for a suite to sneak into. They see Jonah Weinman who runs a talent agency, come out of one of the suites. They go into that one hoping to talk to Jonah about representing them professionally. Rogan, Asher and Brady have rented out the suite for the Lakers game to woo potential clients. They own HLS Security. Jonah Weinman is a potential client because one of his young stars is getting threats. The men have three children at home and Brady’s sister, Patty, is watching them. The two boys are driving her crazy and she wants to know when the guys are going to find a permanent nanny.

The men mistake Heather for Jonah Weinman’s star Amirah. Heather is an actress, so she plays along. They get caught when Jonah walks back into the suite with the real star. Heather throws a fit and they run out of the suite. After Heather and Maurice escape, the guys run a background check on Heather. They think that she might be working for one of their competitors. They find out that she was a sought after nanny in the Dallas area. They decide to offer Heather a job as their nanny as a way for her to make it up to them for sneaking into their suite. Rogan’s son is Micah. Brady’s son is Dustin. Asher’s daughter is Cora. All three kids are six years old. They tell Heather if she becomes their nanny for the next six months, they will help her launch her acting career. In six months, the three children will be going to kindergarten and will not need a full-time nanny.

You knew things were going to get interesting the minute Heather and Maurice snuck into the suite.

This was a three book box set. Book three was my favorite, I think in part because it was funny, serious, and so hot.

Book one was Nanny for the Firemen and I loved this story. It was so sweet and you really got to know each other the characters as the story progressed. Dealing with an abandoned baby brings them all together and the ending and bonus chapters blew me away. I was not expecting the ending at all.

Book 2 was Nanny for the Mercenaries and it was good. Again I was hooked from the jump. She did use the word mercenaries a lot more than I thought necessary and that’s if I am not picking about something to find wrong. Otherwise this story was interested. Not as good as book 1 and 3 in my option.

Book 3 was Nanny for the Seals. This was my favorite out of the three books! Again pulled me in from the start and kept my attention. I loved the sass of Heather the mfc, and how the men dealt with her smart mouth throughout the book. This story was funny and still has me laughing every time I pass an Outback Steakhouse.

I read the kindle version of this book and I am not sure if it was how that version was formatted or how it was written, but I found it hard to follow dialogue and who was saying what in this book. Most conversations were fast paced and not deep, so there wasn’t as much character development which also made it harder to distinguish who was saying what when the formatting was skewed.

This book is meant to be read with the others rather than a stand alone for full enjoyment, but it was decent on its own. I don’t plan to continue the series personally as the story was a little rushed while also not getting to the point of the story that the author wanted to attain. I think if the book was lengthened, then there could be more individual character development and I would be more attached to the story and more interested in reading on. At this point, I just didn’t feel the need to yet since the topic is a little outside my personal tastes and the writing style didn’t capture my curiosity enough.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! Okay lets see where to begin two best friends (one leading the other to do something stupid but so much fun) throw in a couple of little people (children) and their ability to make in awkward situation funny oh and some Navy Seal’s yep sounds like a really great time. Heather sweet, hanging with her best friends who gets her into trouble yet again by seeking into a box while at the game oh and getting caught (oh she will pay the price 😊 but she is going to love every min of it) Three sexy as all get out alpha’s Rogan, Asher, Brady each with their own personality and each with a protective, possessiveness about those they love/care about. Heather is strong, very vocal when it comes to them being participating parents with their babies and she is the driving force behind them (even though they don’t see it). The chemistry is intense and the magnetic pull can’t/won’t be ignored but can she pick just one or can she have them all, will the kids accept them as one and can they find happiness all of them together?

Heather is an up and coming actress who is determined to get ahead. Her best friend and roommate, Maurice, is her cohort in crime. The two sneak into a private box during a LA Lakers game and are introduced to Rogan, Brady and Asher - owners of a security firm. In a series of events (kidnapping scene is funny), Heather once again meets up with the three SEALS and ends up working for them as a nanny for their triplets. She finds herself attracted to Rogan and then Brady and Asher.

This book had some funny moments and really was many love stories within a love story. The love Heather had for each man and they for her, the love of each person for the triplets and of course, Maurice and Jason. Maurice was a great secondary character as was Eugene (anyone else wonder if there is more to Eugene than anyone knows?). Add in a little adventure, a weird antagonist (who meets his match in Heather), a head strong bar none heroine and three loving, sexy SEALs, a real threat and three kids who are real characters, you have a perfectly great read!

Great story.

This story had me hooked from start to finish I loved it. Yeah Heather was one lucky lady finding herself with 3 hot SEAL daddies but 3 mischievous triplets. When Heather talked her best friend Maurice to sneak into one of the private suites at the baseball stadium using the struggling actors used their skills they got in but were mistaken for a famous actress so they went along with it & everything was going perfect until the real actress turned up. The security firm who's suite it was were not happy but Heather gave them what for then after being corned the found away & made a quick exit however the next day she was kidnapped by 3 men & her life changed forever. This story had hot sexual chemistry with 3 hunky SEAL’s who were also sweet & caring, cute triplets, great friendships, wonderful characters, danger, kidnapping twice but fir different reasons & unexpected twists.

The author definitely knows what we like to read. Heather and Maurice sneak into a suite at a Lakers game, using an ingenious ploy, and meet three heart-stopping SEALs (Rogan, Brady and Asher). She takes the job of watching their triplets and the fun begins. Laughed so much and the banter and sass from group was hilarious. The SEALs and Heather have a skyrocketing sizzle going on as well. Just can not get better than this combination. Loved the storyline and all the characters were well written. The suspenseful day starting at the studio was intense. The wedding was a visual delight and the surprise gift was terrific. Great commercial ending. You never know where your future will enter your life.
