One and half stars.
This book has pretty much nothing to recommend it. It is badly written, poorly edited, has no relationship development, no interesting characters, no clever dialogue or hot sex scenes. This book is allegedly a MMF romance but the three main characters spend only a tiny portion of the book interacting. There are three very short sex scenes, one MF and two MMF.
The book begins by following Lauren through a series of unfortunate events that lead to her heading back to her hometown. This portion of the book did not totally suck. She then conveniently stumbles into an old friend, Smith who hires her to work for him and the two promptly fall into bed and quickly get the one bland MF sex scene out of the way. Rye shows up next and next thing you know the three of them are getting it on in a very abbreviated way. Then Lauren leaves town for pretty much the rest of the book and they all go their separate ways until she comes back for the final chapter so they can get it on for the book's third and final dud of a sex scene.
The writing uses a very limited vocabulary. There are few descriptions, and in fact not a single mention is made regarding any aspect of any of the three main characters' appearance. There are numerous continuity issue and internal inconsistencies. It reads like an outline for a story in which all of the potentially interesting parts have yet to be written.
This author goes straight to my will never chance again list.

Nah
I decided to give this a try because it had 4 stars and it was free with my unlimited but I couldn't even make it passed the first 2 chapters. I tried skimming but still couldn't. The premise of the story sounds good. The follow through not so much. Not to be rude but it felt like I was reading some teen girls diary without any true plot.

Lauren, Ry and Smith. Old best friends/boyfriends. Lauren has to return to Chasing Ridge to get back on her feet. And it seems like all three happen to be in the same place at the same time. It’s been years but feels haven’t changed and once buried feels emerge.
But life isn’t always simple and when it gets in the way they have to find out the hard way that love really does change everything. You will fall in love with this threesome and their HEA.

Smith gets a second chance with the girl that he secretly loved in high school. Turns out, that isn't the only secret crush to get a second chance when Ry blows into town. The results are a steamy and cute easy read.
Discovering the resulting relationship may have taken them years but keeping it proves a challenge when reality creeps in.

Great heartfelt story ,well written and lots of chemistry all over the place, 3friends one a couple and the other their best friends from high school ,Rys ,Smith and Lauren met again and their feelings was electrifying .love it

A well written, entertaining read. The story will keep you reading to see what happens next. Will they get their second chance at love. The characters are likeable and have amazing chemistry. A great read.

I enjoyed each turn of the page. The author’s characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly from beginning to the end.

This was the first story that I have read by the author I enjoyed it and loved the male characters but I just didn't like Lauren or the way she acted.
