Stephanie seems to have the perfect life. She is a very attractive woman, married to a well known doctor Tom and they have two beautiful children. One day she decided to organize a reunion for her and her college friends on Costa Rica. She and her friends havent talked to each other for many years, but she thought that it was about time for them to meet again and have a good time... Is it what she really wanted or there was something else hidding behind her willing to meet with her friends? Will this reunion bring those friends together again or will it seperate them again, this time forever?

This is a mystery/thriller with many secrets, twists and turns and well built characters. The story is told by all characters, so we are able to know all the aspects of it. It is very suspenseful and I recomend it to fans of thrillers.

..
This suspenseful mystery starts with a phone call to mrs samantha Devereux from Stephanie.
" She still remembered to call me Sam. No one calls me by my full name, Sam thought...."
They are long time best friends in college but from 10 yr,They are not in contact but suddenly Stephanie call sam for a reunion of college friends at costa rica,it agitate sam and reminds her of that night ...that she wants to forget and don't want to go but her husband Dan wants to go as he wanted to know what is that one secret that Sam is not ready to share.....and with that the mystery starts..

I really like how the author introduced the characters in a layered manner and The description of all the characters is on point and view piont of all the character is top notch so we know the spiceup  story from all the characters even the murderer and the scenerio that is created with all the thriller mystery is really amazing.

There was a lightness and excitement in the air as they all clinked glasses together and sipped the bubbly champagne. Lush foliage surrounded them and the warm air of the tropical oasis blew through and caressed their skin. Everything was perfectly framed in a sunset backdrop that enhanced the reunion of a decade.

When Secrets Kill is a mystery following a group of college friends going on a Costa Rica vacation for their ten year college reunion. But what is supposed to be a fun catch up session among friends is marred with secrets and soon turns deadly!

This book has And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie vibes, as the killer starts taking out the group of friends one by one. The reader is left with a cat and mouse chase as the killer continues to elude detection. While the dialogue was stilted in sections and the transition between character perspectives was not always smooth, the intriguing mystery keeps the reader on their toes. The killer reveal twist was also great.

Overall a good mystery!

I recently got done with this book. This story as the title suggests, the secrets you harbour, can get you killed.

The story revolves around Sam and Dan, the enigmatic lawyer couple. Sam has a troubled past which she had kept from Dan. One fine day, her long lost friend Stephanie organises a reunion with her other classmates in hopes of getting back at Sam. One by one, their classmates gets murdered mysteriously. Who was the killer?

This book had me from the beginning. I couldn’t stop reading as I had my own theory of who might be the killer. It was a thrilling read. I throughly enjoyed reading this book.

I don’t have any particular favourite characters. Towards the end, it was a bittersweet ending.

This book is easy to read with its short chapters. So if you are into thriller, serial killer vibes, friends drama and love, this book is for you.

In words of the main character, Sam: ‘One thing was for sure, never keep secrets from the people you love, they can only cause harm..’

I think that’s a good lesson for all. 😃

I was given a free ebook in place of an honest review!

I really enjoyed this book and was left in awe after finding out who the real killer was… or better yet, killers (maybe). there were so many twists and turns throughout the entire novel that I wasn’t expecting so I definitely recommend picking up this book and read it. especially if you enjoy horror and mystery novels.

the entire time I read the book I thought Michael was the killer but turns out, I was completely wrong. he only wanted to kill in order to exact revenge. it was the husband of Stephanie the entire time and that really surprised me. I was definitely rooting for Sam and her husband, Dan, wanting them to love throughout the entire novel. I was glad that they were able to overcome everything despite what they had been through. it shows and proves that they have a very strong relationship and bond with one another.

Samantha and Dan are just another lawyer couple going through the motions of scripted destiny when one day their college mate Stephanie Darwin invites them for a college reunion. As Sam, Dan, Stephanie, Tom, Bethanie, Arnold and Michael head over to Costa Rica to spend some quality time catching up, they are least aware of the threat looming behind them.
There is someone watching them all this while. Following their every move. Who is this mystery man?

As time passes, a memorable reunion turns into a series of gruesome murders. As the survivors try to protect each other's lives, they also try to uncover the truth behind these murders. Is the ghost of the past haunting these college-mates? Who is behind all these deaths?
Read to find out in this enthralling and riveting thriller.

The narrative starts off slower than usual in this book. However, it picks up pace in no time. A few chapters in and you'll find it hard to put down. Flipping through the pages you'll keep on going and back forth to find clues. Highly recommended for all thriller buffs out there.

This was sooooo good. I haven't read a Thriller in awhile and I truly enjoyed this. I didn't see the ending coming AT ALL.

It was hard to get into because it changed POV quite frequently and I sometimes missed when it changed so I had to go back.

But I HIGHLY recommend this book. It was a quick read but full of so much!

Also, it was fun having the same name as the main character including nicknames and even sharing a homestate and then a southern move.
