Fantastic

I have been reading many of the books in the series and this book is no exception to the extremely well-thought-out well-planned and detailed work that is put into the books. This particular book is based upon a competency-based approach, it is to help you build your interpersonal relationships, your influencing skills, and your communication skills. This book is extremely helpful for those who are new in leadership, those who wanted move into leadership positions, as well as those who have been in your suppositions for a very long time but are looking to improve their skills or maybe get a refresher on some things that they might need to work on. I highly recommend this book

Improving Your Relationships to Boost Results is the second book in the Competency-Based Workbooks for Structured Learning series, by author Wesley Donahue.
From my experience, relationships are the foundation in any job or professional role. Thus, interpersonal communication and social skills are directly related to success and performance. This workbook is wisely focused on interpersonal relationship building, influencing skills and communicating, with the final aim of having lasting interpersonal work relationships. And, same of other books in the series, the research-based and positive model does not disappoint. It is clear, useful and easily applicable to different types of jobs and positions. I strongly recommend this volume as the first step to improvement in any career!

This is one of the books that form part of the fantastic collection “Competency-Based Workbooks for Structured Learning”. It is the third one I read and every time I become more surprised and fascinated by these books. They have helped me a lot in my everyday work.
This time,  “Improving Your Relationships to Boost Results” is a compilation of useful pieces of advice and ideas to develop our interpersonal abilities, no matter if we want to build a relationship with our boss, with an employee, or a client.
The author, Dr. Wesley E. Donahue, states that to work on this ability is essential to establish lasting relationships and to create a good working environment.
I recommend this reading because apart from helping readers, it is an entertaining and light read.

It goes without saying that the way we act, interact with others and work with others set the base for how successful we are going to be in this life, and not only in our professional lives. So, this book comes in handy if we want to actually develop, build and nurture work relationships in a way that would help us be more productive and efficient.
The book is written in the form of a workbook, with practical exercises to do and after doing them, plenty of skills, competencies, behaviors and internal processes unfold and become part of us. Thriving is possible after reading this book! I loved Donahue’s creation!

Cannot Stop Reading
Since I have started reading the series “A Competency-Based Approach to Interpersonal Relationship Building, Influencing Skills and Communicating Effectively with Others” by author Wesley Donhaue, I seem to not be able to stop.
The books are more than just reading since they function as a workshop: with theory to put in practice.
I believe this book is perfect for members of a team at work, family members or everyone who just wants to improve their communication skills. The information is concise and clear, and the activities to do are easy to follow, and they allow readers -or workshop attendants- to reflect upon their answers. Five stars!
