As a young Christian child, one of us doesn’t recall being taught by our parents to say the Lord’s prayer by rote, I do, and my family had been basically secular.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever.
Amen.
While this had been easy to memorize, it didn’t possess any meaning for us. Even though I’ve been on a journey to be a good Christian woman since I began at age 69 after publishing my first two Christian books days before and becoming a Christian blogger shortly afterward, its true meaning has still escaped me.
I found this brief, free KINDLE book by William Johnson, written so a child can understand it, to be wondrous, line by line, explanation regarding its meaning and significance to all Christians, regardless of their age or level of knowledge regarding their faith.
For wanting to educate me, and all other Christians, regardless of their denomination or age, 5 STARS.

This was such an enlightening read! I have taught all my children the Lord's prayer, but honestly I have to look at what Iwas teaching in a whole new way. I know looking back that it was kind of rote teaching. This novel brought a whole new perspective to my looking internally to several of the prayers and messages that my Sunday school teachers tried to impart to us. I felt like a part of heart opened up in a whole new way. I received this novel from BookFunnel. My review is honest and true.
