Sometimes the guy who seems all wrong is exactly right.
Bronte Hollinger’s quiet life suits her. She's got a good job, a wonderful family, and a perfect-on-paper boyfriend. Sure, he can’t seem to focus on anything but his job, but they’ve been together so long she’s gotten used to it. The last thing she needs is a disruption in the form of a mysterious and handsome seatmate on a flight to her Pennsylvania hometown. Despite trying to resist him, Bronte can't ignore the instant and undeniable connection to the man.
After hitting rock bottom, famous actor Chris “CJ” Cunningham is looking for an escape. Hoping to leave his bad boy image behind in Hollywood, he hides out three thousand miles away, but a chance meeting with a beautiful stranger on his flight east is a wake-up call he wasn’t expecting. Bookish Bronte doesn’t seem to know who “CJ Cunningham” is, and he leans into his newfound anonymity, taking advantage of the fact that the woman he can’t stop thinking about is the literal girl next door.
Bronte fights her feelings for Chris, trying to live the life she’s mapped out for herself, but a family emergency shakes her to her core and proves that her safe and predictable path might be all wrong after all. Chris is there for her, and their chance meeting blossoms into something real. But the demands of fame soon catch up with him, and he struggles to balance his Hollywood lifestyle with the new life he and Bronte are building. There’s no way he can stay away from Los Angeles forever, but can their delicate new relationship withstand the rigors of his stardom?
The book couldn't be any more surprising when Bronte gets on a plane sitting next to Chris or CJ, as the public knows him by. She doesn't recognize him as a known actor as he is in disguise and riding in coach and terrified of flying.
Weirder still is that Bronte's parents live next door to the house Chris is borrowing for a few months
Chris falls in love with Bronte's family. It's truly fun to read because his own family had basically disowned him.
It's complicated. He's famous and she's not.
Can these two make it?
ARC from Author and Book Sirens for honest review.
It felt weird reading a contemporary romance novel, basically every other romance book I've read in months has been fantasy, or sci-fi, or dark, historical, or paranormal with romance. I kept having to remind myself that there wasn't something extra like a werewolf was going to pop out. And since I haven't read a contemporary romance in a while it definitely changed my reading experience. It felt like I was watching a slightly edgier Hallmark movie. Edgier in this case meaning there were a few swear words, the love interest is bisexual, and there were some on-page vanilla sex scenes. Shocking, I know. "Falling for Mr. Wrong" has a familiar plot, the no-good movie star wants to get away and ends up in small town, USA, where he falls for the school teacher with a heart of gold. Despite some bumps along the way, there's a happily ever after.
This book delivers everything it promises, the main characters are charming, the chemistry is good. The side characters are warm and personable. Everything you expect to happen does. For me the pacing felt off at times. By the 70% mark it felt like most of the conflict was resolved and the rest of the book was just angst to have angst. I didn't think the resolution to the main issue of how will they merge his movie career lifestyle with her small town life together was that good and had some holes. All that being said, it was an enjoyable read. You get what you'd expect to get with this storyline.
Thanks to BookSirens for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
I loved this book because of Chris. He had so many different sides to him and I was hooked. I loved the dynamic of the girls friendship and liked that that each had their own book. I really liked Bronte family and character. I wanted to read more. I am hooked on this series and can't wait for more from this. I am a total fan of Suzanne's books.

I absolutely loved this story!! I enjoyed the first book but this series seems to just be getting better. I loved the characters in this story. Bronte was such a great character that I could totally relate to. Chris made my heart ache and as different as these two were from each other I loved watching them come together!

Thank you to author and Booksirens for the opportunity to review this book. First, I LOVE Bronte and i have been looking forward to reading about her since the ending of Hating Mr Perfect. but you will need to read book one so you know more about Bronte. I love how Chris fits right in with the fam and the relationship is so nice between them. Pattie and Steven are so sweet! The chemistry between Bronte and Chris was off the charts since the first time they met. I don't think i would consider this insta love, but it was definitely insta attraction. lastly all i have to say is, this book wrecked havoc with all my feelings and I have been sooooooo invested in them. One of my fav quote was "You fit in, You fit in with me"
I loved this book. Bronte was on a flight back home from visiting her friends. Chris was on the same flight next to Bronte. CJ the actor was supposed to clean up his act and hopefully regain his status as an actor. He wanted to be anonymous, so he used Chris, his given name. He had never flown without being drunk and his fear of flying prompted Bronte to help him relax with humorous banter. Not only were they headed to the same town, but Chris was staying in the house next door to her parents. I liked Bronte’s on and off boyfriend, Hunter, who was only interested in himself. Their relationship spoke volumes. Chris and Bronte’s blossoming romance was steamy and realistic. I liked how Chris did his best to protect Bronte from his life as an actor. Bronte’s parents and siblings were portrayed as loving, fun, and supportive. The importance of family shines through. I thought the efforts of Bronte and Chris to make their relationship work were a plus. Great characters!
I received an arc for an honest review and here it is: read this book! Seriously, I think I can be a tough critic sometimes when it comes to my contemporary romances because I expect such a realistic story. There’s no room for error because it’s real life, one we could all be living. This book delivered. There was amazing chemistry, not a lot of fighting it but the relationship developed organically, lots of steam, a dash of angst, and the sweetest HEA. There were parts that made me laugh and parts that made me cry. I couldn’t stop reading once I started so it only took me a day to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would love to read more by this author.
Brontë and Chris come from different worlds and their chance meeting on a plane change their lives forever. She is a school teacher and he is a famous actor having a rest after falling from favour with Hollywood They had great chemistry from the start and Chris could be himself and not the famous CJ Cunningham as she didn’t know who he was. When they meet later as he is now her parents neighbour the chemistry between them continues. Their journey is not without its set backs but this was an enjoyable read and I can’t wait to read more from this author. I received a copy from Booksirens and leave my review voluntarily.
I wanted to reread this book as soon as I finished it. I loved Chris and Bronte. I loved the flirting on the plane when they first met, such a cute meet. Then when they were falling in love, it made me feel it all over again myself. I found myself rooting for their love through all their problems and hoping they would get together at the end. This is the first book I have read from this author but definitely not the last. I received this book as an Arc and am leaving a review voluntarily.
I loved this story. Bronte is really relatable and Chris has many sides, making him really interesting. They come from completely different worlds and yet they fit perfectly. I can’t wait for the next book!

I got to read an advanced copy of this book and OH MY BRONTE. I am in love with this love story about a special ed teacher with a wonderful family and a Hollywood bad boy turned boy next door.
This book is every fan girl's fantasy, no matter who your choice of celebrity crush is. Chris is such an endearing, HOT (in all ways), complicated guy with a heart of gold. And Bronte is a sweet and sassy woman with so much gumption as she tries to navigate her life with a Hollywood dude. Their time spent in her hometown in Pennsylvania makes readers forget that Chris is anything but the new guy living next door to Bronte's parents (who are awesome side characters). And then, later in the book, when we get to see Chris in action in Los Angeles, our hearts break right alongside Bronte's. How do you make it work with a man with dreams so seemingly different than your own? I will add here that the couple's meet cute, along with how Chris ends up living next to Bronte's parents for a short time, is seamlessly plotted. I was wondering how Suzanne would make this type of romance plausible but she did. Her plot arc is amazing throughout the entire story.
You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get hot and bothered with the sexy times scenes which are worth big screen attention (or am I the only one who is fine with that?!), and you'll root for these two to get the Hollywood ending they deserve.
Plus, I really love Bronte's name. It so suits her.
Falling for Mr. Wrong is the second in series and dare I say, I loved it at least equally as the first book Suzanne put out about these four gal pals finding their dudes. I can't wait to read the next two books!!!!!

Hmm how should I start?
Lemme talk about the pacing, plot and the writing first. I absolutely adore the writing style and it really suits my pace and vocabulary, which is not common in other authors I have read. I am very picky but Suzanne Baltzar's writing is flawless for me. I would totally read her other books just for the writings. Next, the pacing is really fast. The chapters are short too which is a plus for me cause I hate long chapters. Then, we have the plot: very intriguing at first but it did concerned me a little when the blurb said the heroin, Bronte, is currently in a relationship with her boyfriend but the hero is someone else... So, I hope it doesn't involved cheating or anything relates to that, but i was a bit wrong. I don't know about other people but for me, whenever you have feelings for others in the midst of having a romantic relationship with someone else, I considered it cheating. Don't get me wrong, I know Bronte's bf here is toxic and a jerk, but she could try to break up with him first before deciding to have sexual thought for someone else. If you said 'people can't control who they fall in love with', imma push you into a river. I have my personal reasons for not liking that phrase. But im glad she broke up with him quite early in the book cause i dont wanna her pining for Chris while she is still woth her bf. Thank God. But mostly, the plot is okay with enough drama to stir things up, and cute moments between those two.
Next, I wanna talk about the characters. I love how supporting Bronte's family and friends are. They are everything, and makes this book even more compelling. Especially the mom and dad. They are so supportive and kind and lively.
Compared to Bronte's family, I feel wuite the opposite to her. While I admire her well-planned future she wishes to have, I must disagree with her at some point where she kinda wants Chris to give everything to her while she gave what? her heart to him? Yeah, like Chris doesnt have a dream job or something. Alas, kuddos to Bronte for at least make the effort to try to understand him.
I understand she's anxious and worried due to her previous toxic relationship, and Im mad at Chris too sometimes, but Bronte annoyed me more. I would say she's kinda hard-headed and likes to judge Chris instantly. Yeah, not my kind of person. And Chris tried so hard to make it work but didnt realized he was hurting her. But i guess both party need the hurt and resentment to finally grow up and decide that they both can work their relationship no matter what obstacles they will have to face.
Overall, this book is quite entertaining and fast-paced, great for a leisure time reading. Unfortunately it wasn't up to my expectation.
This is the second book of the series and it is proving to be a delightfully addictive one. Two people from opposite lifestyles make the perfect pair in this wonderful story. Bronte is a sweet, smalltown girl. She has a nice quiet life with a steady boyfriend and she doesn't need any disruptions or surprises. That is not to be the case, however, when she takes a plane back home from visiting her friends and is seated beside famous actor CJ Cunningham. Only Bronte has no idea who CJ, or Chris as he is going by, is. Chris has hit rock bottom and needs to get his life back on track if he wants to go back to his career. How better to do that than in a nice, quiet, small town. What he wasn't expecting was to fall for the beautiful stranger sitting next to him on the plane.
Both begin to develop such strong feelings for each other and do their best to deny it. Especially Bronte. She is supposed to be in a relationship and set in her path, then Chris comes and shakes everything up and makes her doubt everything. Then there is the fact that Chris is a famous actor and will need to eventually go back to that life. He leads a complicated life and her a simple one. How would they even make it work?
This book certainly delivered as it gave me all the feels with romance, angst, desire, and love. The characters were nicely developed and fit well into this well-crafted story. I really enjoyed the book and found it very entertaining and I can't wait to read the next one!

A special education teacher, an actor hiding out, and a fear of flying.
This story was super cute. I thought it was fairly realistic. I actually appreciated the way that Chris was raised and how certain values shifted over time. I think it's not uncommon that religious values can be forced upon children and that does truly impact their future. For Brontë there's realistic emotions and situational reactions. Side note, but Luke was my favorite character.
For some reason, the first chapter was the hardest for me to get through. Once you get past it, the book flies by. It made me laugh, it made me cry. I felt the pain of the ups and downs of the relationship.
Brontë is family oriented, decisive and tidy. Chris is trying to change his life around, he wants to be better than an out of control star. He is getting some space from LA when he meets someone special on his plane.
“Don’t make her cry,” Chris guessed."
“I have not broken your heart—you have broken it; and in breaking it, you have broken mine.” Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. He should have known.”

It took me a few chapters to figure out the characters and to get into the writer’s rhythm, but this book was worth that effort. Chris is a famous actor with baggage from an extremely conservative upbringing. His family has rejected him for multiple reasons, including the fact that he had publicly identified himself as bisexual (this book is solely a MF romance). After a drunk driving incident, Chris’ agent and friend, sends him to the agent’s own small town in Pennsylvania to get past the bad press and figure out his next career move. Chris travels incognito, and meets Bronte on the plane. Bronte is a Special Ed teacher who is returning home after visiting friends. She helps Chris with his fear of flying. Chris’ new home ends up being next door to Bronte’s warm, supportive and welcoming family. This plot has multiple twists and turns along the way to a HEA between Chris and Bronte, with some sexy times, character development and relationship building. The dual povs in this book definitely enhanced the story. It’s a very engaging book. Recommended. I received an advance copy of this book for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Thanks to the author and Booksirens for sending me an ARC copy in exchange of an honest review.
It's a good one. The second girl who found her love out of the four (as the first one was Gemma, if you've read the Hating Mr. Perfect, you would know).
Although I liked the story of their love life, but I can't be sure if I liked the character development here. Bronte's character was pretty good and I really like her independent & strong nature. But I think Chris could have been a bit more developed. I love their story together, but couldn't enjoy the Chris's part alone.
The starting of their journey (the plane scene) was pretty awesome and I love how Bronte support him. But as the story went on, something felt off about them. I can't put my finger on it, but I got bored for a few chapters in the middle.
So overall, it was a pretty good story with a supporting family & friends of Bronte and a bitter past of Chris. So, I'd give it a 3.5 ⭐ out of 5.
Brontë and Chris meet on a flight to Pennsylvania, when Brontë helps Chris cope with his fear of flying. They nearly kiss but Brontë pulls back in time. She has a boyfriend, Hunter, who’s a real piece of work. He’s the worst boyfriend you could have and I wanted Brontë to dump him immediately. Chris is taking a break from Hollywood and ends up in the house next door to Brontë’s parents. Chris is a sweet, caring guy. I was rooting for him to get together with Brontë. You have to read this book to see if Brontë ends things with Hunter and gets together with Chris. Chris and Brontë couldn’t have more opposite childhoods. I enjoyed learning about her family. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Chris / CJ is a famous actor, and Bronte is a schoolteacher, and these two meets on a plane. Bronte does not recognise Chris as he is disguised, but they meet again when the house that he is staying at for a few months, is next door to her parents. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, and they complement each other perfectly. What will happen when they need to get back to their own lives? This is a well written story which has engaging and relatable characters, family, romance, friendships, and love, which leads to a fun and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Bronte is a teacher with a close family relationship and a few very close girlfriends while Chris is struggling to find himself and regain his status as a movie star. When the two meet on a plane and pass the time talking, there's a spark that neither expects. They know the little they've learned and each other's first names. Imagine their surprise when they see each other again at Bronte's parents home because Chris is their new temporary neighbor. Bronte has no clue who he really is but her family all slowly realize his true identity. She gets to know the real him and falls for him, hard...but will she trust him when she finds out who he really is? I received an ARC from Booksirens and am voluntarily leaving my review.
This book was much more than a romance novel. It was about family, friendships, finding love, and discovering what’s really important in life. Brontë and Chris meet on a plane. She is headed home and he is headed anywhere to escape a very public life in L.A. She is a rule follower and orderly. He is anything but that. This could have been a typical opposites attract trope, but the author did a fantastic job of really exposing the characters thoughts, emotions, struggles, and weaknesses. The reader is along for the ride, discovering right along with the characters, who they could be and what they want out of life when the right person is by their side. Good pacing. Excellent storytelling. Perfect ending.

When airplane-phobic “Chris” is seated next to calm and sympathetic Bronte time “flies” while they get to know each other, but upon landing, the instant attraction looks like it will go nowhere. Until “Chris” moves into the house next floor to her parents! Famous movie star CJ Cunningham is having a career flame-out, and Bronte, her hometown, and loving parents are just the foundation he needs. She’s a small town school teacher, he is a Hollywood superstar. A sweet love story with good main characters. I received this book at no charge from BookSirens and the author, but all opinions are my own.
Great book, fun story. Love how the book started on the plane when Bronte and Chris aka CJ first met. They had super amazing chemistry from the start and it just got thicker. The fate of them being together and in each others lives is for real and it shows in sooo many events. This book has lots of ups and downs and things become so complicated. Loved getting to know all the characters Had some spicy moments and the ending was fire.
I would like to thank the publisher and Booksiren for an advanced copy of this book to read, all my thoughts and opinions are my own and volentarly.
Falling for Mr. Wrong is a great novel about an everyday woman and a famous actor. They attempt to resist their attraction to each other but they find that they relate to each other. Both characters bring new experiences to the relationship which allows the couple to grow together. The typical issues that famous individuals face are troublesome for the couple and they are faced with hard decisions and crossroads. It was a great book for a relaxing night in!
I definitely enjoyed this story more than I did the first in the series. I found the characters more likeable and relatable despite star status. Chris was very down to earth and humble while in PA which was great. I was worried we were going to have an egomaniac to start.
Watching these 2 work through their issues and come together was lovely. I wasn't sure how they were going to make it work.
I liked the evolution of the characters in this book and loved the family connection Brontë and Chris eventually shared.
I thought the conflict was frustrating. Lack of communication is one of my least favorite tropes. The writing was a little stunted for me in the beginning but it found its stride.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
These two are very much opposites, but they ground each other. And they didn't realize how much they needed each other. Their journey isn't easy, but so worth it in the end. I loved this story and the characters all around. It had me crying and cheering them on.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I liked this story, but there were some grammar and punctuation errors. There were also a lot of formatting errors. It had some odd plots within the plot. There were unnecessary details. Those details took away from the story.
Falling for Mr wrong, Bronte and Chris' story. It was really entertaining and funny with excellent characters. They were really the opposite of each other but in love they were perfect together. A beautiful read.
