This is a sweet love story (sometimes we have to take a break from all the dark and heavy ones).
Noah is Millie's old brother best friend, she's been in love with him since forever.
He's the one that took her virginity and then run away... Literally...
Their relationship never been the same.
With her grandparent's death, Millie heritage their house in Carolina, Noah and her brother stayed in California.
Until her brother's weeding...
He asks Millie to be at her house near the beach.
She agrees and gets a little help from Noah, that moves there three months before the big day.
Of course, they reconnect.
As I said, this is a sweet, heart whelming story.
And sexy...
It's very different of what I'm used to of Dana Isaly.

A very spicy, dual POV, brother's best friend, second chance summer romance. This was a fun, steamy beach read with great heart. Definitely some R-rated sex scenes but I loved the emotional depth between these two characters too. A great book for the summer!

My Summer Fling fue una lectura muy bonita ( y sorprendente ). Por alguna razon, lo empece a leer con la idea preconcebida de que seria bastante superficial, pero para nada fue asi.
La historia esta muy bien narrada y pese a no ser tan extensa como otros romances que suelo leer, tiene un desarrollo mas que aceptable, ademas, no senti en ningun instante que la relacion entre los protagonistas fuera precipitada o acelerada.
Esta es mi primera experiencia con la autora, pero desde ya digo que no sera la ultima, su estilo simple y directo me agrado, creo que esta novela hubiese sido perfecta para un dia de verano, tiene ese aire fresco y desenfadado que tan bien queda con esa epoca del año.
Para concluir, un libro tierno, facil de leer y que te deja con una sonrisa. Lo recomiendo mucho.

I loved Millie and her dog since the first moment, Noah is a hottie 🥵🥵, the momenti knew him i was like "Ok i need more of this man". i really lived how they work things out, how they managed to be happy, this books has my favorites tropes on it.
One thing that got me hooked was the playlist, i always look or create playlist based on the book i am reading at the moment so when i saw this one already got a playlist created i was like "OMG, this is perfect" and trust me, it was perfect.
If you are planning on reading a beautiful summer love, here's your chance, this book is amazing.

Eventually Noah and Millie decide to become friends with benefits during the summer and chaos does ensue. This book has spicy scenes, dirty talk galore, touch her/look at her and you die vibes and most of all a HEA!
This was a quick and addicting read that I did not want to put down, which honestly is mostly everything I’ve read by Dana Isaly. The spice and the dirty talk were all on point and made me want more!

First let me say I love Dana Isaly’s books. I think she’s so diverse in what she writes there is basically something for everyone, age-gap, why choose, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, second chance, you name it she’s probably written it.
This book is hands down amazing. It has brothers best friend, second chance, friends to lovers. It has the right amount of spice and the type of spice that makes you blush when you read it.
Millie’s brother asks her if he can have his wedding on her private beach next summer to which she agrees but what she didn’t agree to was his best friend Noah coming to help her plan it.
That next summer he shows up on her door step ready and willing to help with the wedding. One drunken night she propositions him to a summer fling before the wedding, no feelings, no attachments, just sex. That’s totally possible right? What could go wrong?

I received this arc from Dana, and let me tell you It did NOT disappoint!
This was a quick and addicting read😍😍
I’ve loved all of Dana’s books I’ve read, but this one just hits differently. The story is between Millie and her brothers best friend Noah. And holy shit, the tension between those two were something else.
Millie was a badass who knew her worth! But at the same time I just wanted to give her a cuddle. And Noah… so hot, and so so sooo stupid!!!
But over all I fell in love with their relationship and their dynamic. As I said, this was really and amazing read. Would highly recommend!

This was just the book I needed. I could not put it down I finished Millie and Noah’s story in one day! Instantly fell in love with Noah from the first time meeting him. I loved this journey of there’s and really hope to see more of them. I also would love to maybe see story from Tiff and Roman and maybe a story from Teddy and Beth when they first met.

I was super excited to receive this arc from Dana and honestly could not put this book down, it is the perfect summer book. I loved her Nick and Holly series and knew I was going to love this and it did not disappoint.
Banter? Check. Spice? Check. Summer vibes? Check. Brothers best friend? Check. Friends to enemies to lovers? Check.
Noah and Millie were everything. Noah was such a mood. With his touch her and vibes die and his determination to make things right with Millie Moo. I loved Millie and her relationship with her brother. She was fiesty and determined. And her banter with Noah was top tier! And all the spice you expect from a Dana Isaly novel!

Thank you to Dana Isaly for providing me with an ebook copy of My Summer Fling for me to read and review! This book had a whole lot of tropes going on, but it worked! I found myself very quickly rooting for the two main characters to find love. There were a number of spelling and wording errors that were a bit of a distraction from my reading flow. However, I still truly enjoyed the story and am interested in reading more of Isaly's writing.

As someone who normally reads darker romances, I wasn’t positive how I’d feel about this book. I received an ARC from the author, and since I had enjoyed previous books, I decided to give this contemporary “brother's best friend/second chance romance” a go.
This book was brilliant.
I was rooting for both characters and the blossoming relationship. The spice was perfect, and the moments of praise only added to the perfection. Not to mention, Noah’s photography and love letter? 😍 SWOON.
If you want a fun, fast, spicy summer read, this is it. Noah and Millie are what I needed this summer.
Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 stars

My Summer Fling is a short brother's best friend romance and I am so happy that I received an ARC from Dana Isaly and her team.
The story follows Millie and Noah who have to plan Millie's brother's wedding. While I adored Millie, Noah was a bit annoying and immature. That was cute at first but it got really annoying as the story went on.
Overall, this is a cute romance that is worth reading if you're in for something short and spicy.

I just finished the ARC of Noah and Millies journey. What can I say this was a mix between second chance and brothers best friend 2 of my favorite tropes put together! So to say I was excited is an understatement! It did not disappoint this was a fun quick steamy read. It flowed so good and the chemistry between the main characters is 🔥🔥🔥 🥵🥵🥵 I would definitely recommend this for a fun sexy read!

We start out with Teddy, Millie’s brother, asking her if he can use her access to the beach for their wedding on the small island in South Carolina she lives on. naturally she accepts after all it’s her brother. Noah gracefully accepts the position of best man; which Millie is not happy about because they have to work together to organize this wedding on her brothers behalf due to him living in Cali and not able to travel too often out there. She wants to make her brother happy though.
I ate up the built tension between them the first two chapters. Millie’s sassiness & Noah’s smartassy-ness. (yup i made up a word, LOL)
Next summer comes around: Millie is at the cake tasting & gets numbers lined up the the cake when Noah comes in unexpectedly because she never called him to help he just showed up. YAY😒 & he announces he is staying for the whole summer to help her even though she never asked. Millie brings up her boy toy Brandon & Noah fills with rage & jealousy — brings up their past shenanigans.
** “if my memory serves me right, that sweet pussy of yours was dripping for me, baby girl. And i know how to tell the difference between a faked orgasm and a real one.” … “And yours were all real.”
Noah’s inner monologue about things he wants to do with Millie just make me heat up 🥵

Overall: Noah & Millie are a MUST read. Dana didn’t disappoint with this one. another 5 ⭐️ from this queen. The dirty talk is A++ supreme. Their story going from hating each other but still attracted to each other the angst build up was great. Millie reminds me of myself because she’s just so sassy & i lovedddd itttt !! 🙌🏼🥰

I have loved every book of Dana’s to date and this one exceeded all expectations and was completely different to what I am used to reading from her. Despite the short length of the book the characters where so deep and moving and there was so much action in such few pages I finished this book in under 2 hours💗

Dana Isaly really outdid herself on this one. Despite being a bit insta love in the romance, it was really well written and a great, speedy read! I read this one in 2 sittings, but could've in 1 if I really tried.
The amount of spice maybe bordered on too much for me, but can there ever REALLY be too much spice?!?! Overall I loved the way the relationship blossomed between Noah and Millie, not to mention the addition of Annie the dog.
Time to talk about setting. Small town will always be my kryptonite. Add it the beachy element and you've placed yourself in my top 3 settings ever. I loved the cottage Beach house vibes, and the whole thing just felt cozy and summery, perfect for a quick summer read.
Overall this book was the ideal summer read for me! I loved the family bonds, the friendships, and obviously the romance. This book made me laugh so hard, and feel for the characters in a way a lot of other books don't.
So... would I recommend this book to a friend? I definitely would to most! To those that don't enjoy a lot of spice I would potentially recommend not, but for the 95% that do, I would definitely say go for it!!
Dana Isaly really outdid herself on this one. Despite being a bit insta love in the romance, it was really well written and a great, speedy read! I read this one in 2 sittings, but could've in 1 if I really tried.
The amount of spice maybe bordered on too much for me, but can there ever REALLY be too much spice?!?! Overall I loved the way the relationship blossomed between Noah and Millie, not to mention the addition of Annie the dog.
Time to talk about setting. Small town will always be my kryptonite. Add it the beachy element and you've placed yourself in my top 3 settings ever. I loved the cottage Beach house vibes, and the whole thing just felt cozy and summery, perfect for a quick summer read.
Overall this book was the ideal summer read for me! I loved the family bonds, the friendships, and obviously the romance. This book made me laugh so hard, and feel for the characters in a way a lot of other books don't.
So... would I recommend this book to a friend? I definitely would to most! To those that don't enjoy a lot of spice I would potentially recommend not, but for the 95% that do, I would definitely say go for it!!

My Summer Fling is a lovely end of season treat. This is a second chance romance between Millie and Noah, who have been pining for each other since childhood. They have a miscommunication during their college years and go their separate ways. This book deals with the sexual tension that’s been brewing ever since. When they are reunited for a wedding they get a chance to revisit just how good they really are together 😈
The spice is great! Dana always provides a variety of wonderful 🌶🌶🌶🌶 scenes. She built up a little more angst between these characters and I’d love to see her explore that even more in future books.
If you enjoyed the Dipped in Holly series, then you’ll love My Summer Fling.

It’s not a surprise that I rated this 5 stars — Dana’s writing is so easy to read & I enjoy all of her books.
I absolutely LOVED this book, and I honestly think it’s my new favorite of Dana’s. This is a brothers best friend/second chance/friends to lovers/“you touch her, you die” romance with some AMAZING spicy scenes 🥵 This book had me smiling, blushing, and laughing (iykyk). (Dana, you know why 😂) The relationship between Noah and Millie was written so well.

I didn’t know what to expect when I first read this book. I am familiar with the brothers best friend trope, but wasn’t exactly sure how this one would go. It far exceeded my expectations. The story had some sexy romance and some drama that was resolved by the end. The ending left me very satisfied.

My Summer Fling by Dana Isaly is definitely a very different book from what the author usually writes (coming from someone who has read the One Night series and Nick and Holly series). Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this book. Noah and Millie are an adorable couple and I love that their relationship fits the "childhood friends to lovers to enemies-ish to lovers" trope and the "it's always been you" trope.
My biggest issue with this book was the lack of communication and old grudges. Something happened between Noah and Millie years ago (I'm talking like a decade) and Millie has always wanted closure but for some reason, Noah can't give it to her. They made it seem like such a big deal and in the epilogue, they were working through their trauma. Though I'm not the most qualified to give my two cents, I feel like it wasn't that big of a deal and it definitely wasn't trauma. Throughout their fling, they clearly had deeper feelings for each other, yet they never had a conversation about it and kept their feelings hidden. They could have been a happy couple way earlier, but they were acting like teenagers, not the grown adults they are.
Other than that, this book was entertaining. My Summer Fling is probably my second favourite Dana Isaly book, Games We Play being the first.
