I really enjoyed reading this story. It definitely did not end how I thouht it would. I went in thinking it was a second chance romance but it turned into something else. It had alot of kink and was very surprising and adventurous. This was definitely a story where you could not guess what would happen. This is definitely a recommended read for me even though I really thought Mistress Scarett would end up with someone else. I received a review copy of this story and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

This is a great bdsm read! Definitely not for someone that has triggers due to violence. I did have a hard time getting through some of it due to the fmc tends to repeat her reasoning for not doing things multiple times throughout. The story line is good though and I had some suspicions on what was going to happen but never quite knew for sure. I would highly recommend

I thought it was a complicated story but well worth it. It is a very good read. The story flowed well. The characters are strong. There is love, lust, bdsm, betrayal. What more could you want. Really enjoyed it

With a groan, I roll to my back, yawn, and stretch my legs and arms, as if trying to reach for the footboard. The leg stretch feels especially good after the hellish workout I had with Colby yesterday.
Without acknowledging my bedfellow, I sit up, tossing the covers aside. My hands fold over the edge of the bed as I stretch my back by arching and lifting each shoulder as high as possible, ending with another groan. That damn knot beside my shoulder blade still hurts. I’ll get Ted to rub it out later. Right now, I have to pee.
After a quick bathroom visit, I return and collect the key from my nightstand. Before I went to sleep, I handcuffed Ted to a spindle on my dark walnut headboard and told him not to go anywhere. Obviously, he can’t, and that’s why I find it funny.
Ted smiles as I slip the key into the handcuff attached to the bed and unlock it, but I leave the one on his wrist. I allow him a few minutes to relieve himself. He leaves the door ajar, knowing he isn’t allowed privacy.
The shower starts, and I enter the bathroom where Ted holds the glass door open for me.
“Ted, wash me.”
Without hesitation, the thickly built man steps in behind me, and I stand under the hot water. I love the way the heat seers my flesh, turning my tanned hue a deep red. Ted holds a pool of shampoo in his hand, waits for me to step from under the water, and then massages it onto my scalp. With him towering over my 5’7” frame, he manages with ease.
I rinse, and then the deep brown-eyed man coats my long, dark strands in conditioner and whirls it atop my head to affix with a clip. I wash my face, and he rubs me down with a sudsy loofah. My legs spread, and he washes my undercarriage with great care and tenderness, but not enough to warrant punishment for taking sexual enjoyment from the task.
After I rinse my hair and body, I step out into Ted’s waiting arms, who holds a fluffy white bath sheet, and he wraps it around me before tucking in the edge to keep it snug. I bend forward, and he wraps my hair in a turban-towel. I leave the bathroom to allow Ted two minutes to wash himself.
What the hell am I going to wear today?
The left side of my walk-in closet is lined with a variety of long dresses that promise to accent my thin, muscular figure. To the right hang all my lingerie, leather gear, latex, and silk clothing; everything and anything to scream my dominance. The centre houses my regular street clothes and workout wear, which is my goal this morning.
I lay my pale blue spandex shorts and matching sports bra on the bed. I sit in the black metal-framed chair perched before my make-up table with the large matching mirror. Ted chooses a pair of socks and a thong for me and sets them beside my chosen outfit.
While Ted’s towel-dried hair points in many directions, he massages my long hair with argan oil-coated fingers and then blow-dries it. He brushes the strands and then twists them into a loose braid while I lotion my face. When I rise, he coats my body in lotion, and then leaves while I dress. By the time I’m slipping my feet into my workout shoes, he’s returning with a steaming mug of coffee.
“Thank you, Ted. You may go,” I say as I take the mug from him.

Holy geez! I ate this book up in barely 2 days! Scarlett is our main character & she is one fierce woman. She runs a BDSM club out of the lower level of her house. As a member myself, let me say this was the most beautiful & accurate representation of the community that I have ever seen in book form. I hope to hear more about Ted in another book/novella because he’s such a sweetheart. Something about him makes me crave to know more about him. Scarlett’s best friend & business partner, Colby, is the kind of friend we all need. He has her back. He keeps her in check. Granted, he is harboring a deep love for her but hey, we’ve all had that friend in our lives. Hahaha. I won’t lie, the author had me going because I was in LOVE with some Tristan action. THEN THAT TWIST NECKLACE SCENE! You’ll see. Trust me. You want to see. It comes out of nowhere! I mean WHAT?! There’s not a ton of ACTUAL spicy moments but what is there is variety & appreciation of every last juicy moment.
All in all - I hope to see way more of Mistress Scarlett, Colby, the club members, & even to learn more about everyone’s backstory. Fabulous read that was worth every single moment!

I think this had a lot of great parts, especially when it came to representing the BDSM community accurately. The author did a fantastic job in giving us a realistic setting within Scarlett's club, and the relationships that she has with clientele and friends. The ending was also a surprise, so that was a good twist I didn't see coming.
The story was complicated and there was a lot of run around when it came to the characters acting on what they wanted. Scarlett was repetitive and overstated a lot of her motives for her actions.

Pebbles Lacasse writes books with a lot of a certain type of activity in that if I outlined it here a certain company would not post this review and this book has that in as well. I have read and love most of this authors work but I will admit that I wasn’t sure about this book at first. The activity is as well written and flammable as usual but the plot was really different. I stopped about one quarter of the way in but picked it up and finished it and I’m really glad that I did. I can’t really talk about the plot but I can say that you will never guess what happens and that it’s unusual in a good way. Oh my so much fun! I recommend that you read the blurb and understand what type of books Ms. Lacasse writes but if this sounds like something you might like then I can’t recommend this book highly enough. Enjoy.

This is my first time reading from author Pebbles Lacasse . I was not expecting to fall in love with the characters, but I did. Mistress Scarlett is a woman with a lot of emotional damage, because of her upbringing she believes that love doesn't exist. Colby has never given up on Scarlett.
At first you think that it's a second chance plot, because Scarlett's ex Tristan comes back into her life, but you are completely wrong. There are twist and turns though out this book. You need to read this book to find out what really happens between all three characters. Don't worry there is a HEA, who does Scarlett choose.........

I love the book. I couldn't put it down, and I read the whole thing in one sitting. It was funny and engaging. I love the interactive characters. I didn’t see the ending coming. I love the Kiss Me hard club and could imagine going there. All the books from this author never disappoint. I love the twists and turns and ups and downs. I love that the story was complicated and not flat. I can’t wait for the next of hers. I would recommend this book if you love hot femDom and BDSM books.

I loved this read! Author Pebbles Lacasse does a fabulous job at pulling the reader in quickly and taking them on a ride that ends much too soon! It does have quite a bit of kink and I loved that as well. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how it never overshadowed the story. It had fabulous "build-up" and I absolutely recommend this book.
I know I will be reading more from Pebbles Lacasse!

Broken Charm hits all of the marks - friendship, sex, love triangles, suspense, intrigue, the lifestyle that some of us live and the lifestyle that some of us wish we could live. Pebbles Lacasse just keeps getting better and better. Her character development. Her plot. Her style. Readers will feel like they are walking into Mistress Scarlett's nightclub for an evening of revelry, followed by a ride up her private elevator to gorgeous private living space. Broken Charm is a must read!!

Pebbles Lacasse did an over the top job of creating characters with personalities and desires that makes the is a 5 star read. The ongoing angst, erotic steam and all out snark made this book difficult to put down. I am now anxiously awaiting the book coming put in August as I was able to read a bit of it at the end of Broken Charm. My only real suggestion to potential readers is yes read this but not in public. ;-)

What an exciting book! Sure didn't see the twists and turns coming. The story line is interesting as you discover what makes everyone who they are. The characters are strong, independent and each is very determined. Found this a very enjoyable read with plenty of heated attraction throughout.

Mistress scarlet I love her she’s strong, independent,and all together a baddie. She runs a successful club when she sees an ex who has ulterior motives. I’m glad scarlet at the end is trying to overcome the tough times in her life and with her bestie cole. I loved this book and I know those of you who will read it will love it too .

I've never been disappointed by a Pebbles Lacssse book and yet again, I'm not with Broken Charm. Penny refuses to be suckered back into the life she once had with Tristen as he wants to return to the glory days of old. Only he also has an ulterior motive. A great read. The only thing that drove me nuts was how Colby and Cole kept switching places throughout the book. I know it's the same name, but Penny would call him Colby in one sentence and Cole in the next. I found that tiny detail distracting.

I was new to this author and this book did not disappoint! It was hot and steamy and it wasn't lacking in the story either. It had me from the first page and was hard to put down.
