A very cute and fun book on lefse. I had originally read Gary Legwold's book on lutefisk, which he wrote AFTER this book, and I enjoyed that one so much that I went out and found this one too.

You can definitely tell that he wrote this one earlier - the lutefisk book was a lot more thorough and went over a lot more historically, regionally, etc. That was a very comprehensive book.

This lefse book is still very fun and good, but doesn't quite match the level of the lutefisk book - a lot less historical content, a lot less broad context, which I certainly missed. But it did have a lot of great people stories, and still enough content to make it a worthwhile read.

Amusing quick read for lefse lovers. I will hang on to it to try some of the recipes.
