Navicular disease is a heartbreaking diagnosis, I never wish it on any horse, and I'd never wish for any horse owner to hear the words "navicular disease" or "navicular syndrome" spew out of their vets mouth. But please don't be discouraged if this happens to you!! Although there truly is no cure, there are still options for you and your horse! And that begins with a new farrier and this book. (Plus many other books- research is key!) This book gives a very great overview for the horse owner who owns a horse or horses with navicular disease. Although I found the book slightly discouraging with the short chapters, and overall "no-options" tone of the book, I still found it a really great read and this book is a must-have for every horse owner. This book is a great start to many more days, months, or years of research
