Another cracking read from Sea Caummisar. This one was just as brutal as the rest but had a more fun side to it than others, the story was great and fast paces and I honestly didn't see that ending coming, it snuck up on me!! Loved this short, fun read!!
Sea Caummisar never fails to amaze me with her stories, and I am yet to read one that I haven't been totally immersed Into. This story has a few characters, the main being trick the comedian and Iced the dark web contact. Both amazing characters that through the authors writing brings out the natures and personalities of them throughout the read. The twist at the end was great and puts the characters in a new light. I also enjoyed this read as parts were funny, and for an extreme horror this can be unusual as laughter and extreme horror you wouldn't think would work. But I assure you this one does due to the characters. And laughter is much needed In The world at the moment. So you get your fix of blood and gore with extreme violence, with a giggle or two for extras. So I definitely recommend you give this a try and enjoy the mind of a great author.
This is another great story from this author. The brutality and gore are all there for the liking. I love the twist in this one. Well done, Sea. Recommended.
Why did I read this? (I read it to get one more short read in to 2024). But what did I just read? It had absolutely no point or plot. It was written to just be disgusting. I actually enjoy some of this authors work, but this was not it.
Trick is a comedian. His name isn’t known yet and he is struggling to make his name known. He even makes jokes during his skits about how he gets paid in alcohol. When he’s suddenly met with an offer he couldn’t refuse by way of working with a well-known comedian, he jumps on the chance, as the accommodations are too good to be true.
We meet Iced, the dark web hitman, hired for the job of ruining said big-named-comedian’s comedy show by killing and posing people on stage, so that when the curtains open, the audience gets a front row seat of absolute ruin. Who says death can’t be funny?
In a mere 66 pages, I absolutely was glued to this story. Because we have two stories being told here of the lowly comedian and the popular hitman, they eventually run together with a showcase showdown that happens towards the end. In the meantime, we see a few twists and turns before our conclusion.
This story was graphic and entertaining all the way through, and you start to sympathize a bit for Trick – we’ve all been there, starting from the bottom, never feeling like we are where we NEED to be in life. We don’t know too much about Iced, other than he’s really good at what he does and earns respect from other dark web hitmen/women by the end of the story.
This was a complete story and I loved it from start to finish, and it doesn’t overstay its welcome and add storyline plots that do not need to be there. It’s cut and dry and great! Read it!
This is my favorite book with the exception of “My favorite fan #3”. I am a comedian and can absolutely agree that 99% of us are very dark. This was eerily relatable till the crazy twist. Love, love, loved it!!!!! Renee Luczynski
This was a short but awesome story.... Not as brutal as some of the previous stories I've read by Sea Caummisar but it was a fast paced who done kind of story with a awesome twist at the end. I highly recommend this one and all Sea Caummisar books she fuckin rocks.
I latterly had no idea what was happening lol till part two ,, I was expecting more hectic ness as my first book from sea was the bag of doom so that put expectations high for this and it just didn’t meet that bar
The twist at the was incredible, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Had an undertone of menace from the offset, it was as usual well thought out, intense and slightly insane. Incredible
Iced didn't do kills just for money, he loved the thrill of the taboo, he got off, he loved the feeling of power, the adrenaline following through his blood. Trick was a comedian, a dime a dozen, nothing special to differentiate from others. Trick is offered a once in a lifetime gig. Iced wearing a gimp suit, no trace of hairs, no DNA, will decapitate a head, dig the insides out and shove the head inside the body. Now that's comedy. The gimp suit wearing Iced laughed as he hit the claw part of a hammer into a security guards head, raining tears of blood. A baby dolls head shoved in his arse. People are going to become famous. Not just on the dark web.
