Where should I start with this?

Although Samuels allegedly uses an editor, this book is a literary disaster-piece. If there was an editor they should be fired. Immediately.

The plot is incoherent and at times comes across as nothing but a jilted girl whining about her exes. By the time I got to the end I still found myself asking “what the heck just happened?”.

I also noticed that this book is almost 50% filler from other books. Don’t get me wrong: teasers are great. They are not, however, meant to give your book length. It’s okay to publish short stories and novellas. The three non-related chapters take away from the main plot.

I would still like to say that Samuels’ premises have potential. I will definitely be reading more from her in the future.
