An auto-bio comic, from the author of Quarantine Comix After going through a breakup and attempting to get on with her new, single life, award-winning comic-creator and author of Quarantine Comix , Rachael Smith, found solace in documenting her experiences through comic strips. Stand in Your Power , which follows on from where Wired Up Wrong left off, takes on the universal yet highly personal topics of loneliness, friendship, depression, love, figuring out who you are and moving on, among many others. Always extremely relatable, this collection, which was previously shortlisted for the Comedy Women in Print award, has Rachael's trademark warmth, honesty and humour.
Rachael Smith's cartoons are always worth a look, even if they're sad insights about the end of a four-year relationship and coming to terms with being single again.

Preach it, girl!
I'm a huge fan of this author and after multiple relatable books, it's no surprise that I feel a kinship with her. I went into this collection blind and was hence very surprised that it was about her breakup, especially after Adam's appearances in her earlier works.
This is a raw and heartfelt read that anyone who has ever experienced a breakup will resonate with. I loved Rachael's friends; it just shows how important a solid support system is! She also doesn't hold back in sharing her lowest points, which I think is admirable.
Indeed healing is not a linear process, but you do heal eventually ❤️ The best is yet to come!
