Maya Shriver never imagined she'd be a widow before the age of forty. When a chance encounter with Hawk Brannigan leads to her travelling on a tour bus with a country music star, Maya embarks on a new life and a new career. Opportunity can come from tragedy, as Maya soon learns, but can she learn to love again? She needs to let go of her past love in order to embrace the love that's right in front of her. Can she say good-bye to her grief or will she forever be stuck in neutral?

Every Mile a Memory is a testament to the power of love, whether in grief or falling in love. Grea Warner is a master storyteller and her true gift is women’s fiction. Her female characters, whether the heroine or a minor character, are women you’d recognize in your life. Grea Warner’s descriptive narration is sublime, and, in this case, she showcases life on the road complete with all the ups and down. The plot moves at a nice easy pace with a fair share of angsty conflict. The romance is slow-burn which I enjoyed immensely. The ending was pretty good, though felt a little hurried. If you’re looking for a road trip romance, pick up Every Mile a Memory today. I look forward to reading more from Grea Warner.
