Jason had little time or interest in dating. Between running his successful restaurant and working as a manager at Club Inhibition , his days were full. When he saw Leah, he knew, without a doubt, that he’d found his next play partner. Her sassiness, energy, and gorgeous body called to him. All he had to do was get rid of the date with his hands on her ass. Leah was a serial dater, never finding anyone worthy of a second date. She couldn’t have been more surprised when a date took her to a sex club . Sick of his hands all over her, she gave him the slip and went exploring. Finding an open door at the back of the club, she couldn’t help but peek in. What she saw excited her more than anything ever had before. The man in front of her holding a flogger, a wicked grin on his face, had her panties drenched. Will they ever be anything more than play partners at the club? Can they find their forever when the past comes roaring into the present? This book is a BDSM erotic romance and is LGBTQ+ inclusive. It ends with a HEA and no cliffhanger. Due to explicit language and content, it is intended for readers 18+. ***By popular demand from those who read Dark Trio , this is Jason and Leah’s story. It is a complete standalone but does have shared characters with Dark Trio .***
Darcy is an erotic romance writer who loves to write the more risqué stories. She loves her heroines sassy and her alpha males sexy and a little snarky. If you’re looking for steamy reverse harem, ménage, and BDSM romance books, look no further!
She has been writing all her life, but, after years reading erotic romance, decided to give that a shot. She lives her life with a healthy dose of kink, so it only made sense that she’d do the same with her books.
She was born in one of the top tourist locations in the world, Niagara Falls, Ontario. If she’s not writing, she’s reading any steamy story she can get her hands on. She has two grown children, a granddaughter, and an adorable jug (Jack Russell/Pug mix) named Java.
2.5 stars. Needs a considerable amount of editing/proofreading. There is an ongoing plot issue with Leah and her car or non car....she has one then doesn't, borrows her mom's then suddenly has a car again. Her step dad is suddenly her dad. It was just a bit too messy.
This book everyone, THIS BOOK. I seriously think you all should read it at least once, doesn't matter if you hate or dnf it, read it just by the chokehold you might experience in the process. I literally couldn't put it down, it was so addicting.
I ate it, literally. It took me more or less like 1 - 2 days to read it.
The story follows Leah, who came to this club for a first date with a guy name Tad, who happened to enter with a bouncer and got kicked out by Sasha, one of the staff members. Both started talking after that incident, and as the days went on, Leah decided to befriend Sasha and started to frequent the club as her guest member.
Leah started showing interested at the bdsm demos in the club. Accompanied by Sasha, they watched them one by one and went room by room. One day, she heard Jason, one of the members, was giving a rope demo, which wakes up her interest at the very first sight. She decides to sign for it as a spectator, and since then, she has been coming every day just to see him. They start an inmediate connection, followed by some rules: just the dom/sub relationship, no flowers or hearts gestures.
Jason wants anything but feelings; Leah wants the same as well. But, what would happen when if they find out they're starting to feel something for each other beyond the D / s relationship? Would they give into their feelings? Or would they act rationally?
If you’re looking for a steamy read with lots of kink Dark Bonds is definitely it. This is the second of Darcy’s books I’ve read and I have to say WOW! It is beyond 🔥🔥🔥. This isn’t a book you want to miss.
The character development is fantastic, showing both the strengths and weaknesses of Jason and Leah. She hasn’t forgotten to build up the secondary characters, no doubt in preparation for the next Club Inhibition book.
It has some of the same characters from Lisa Wood’s Dark Trio. Having read that, it was cool to see them in the role of supporting characters. You definitely don’t have to read each of the books to enjoy them, but I can’t recommend them enough. My advice, though, is if you plan to read them, do so in the order that Darcy and Lisa have chosen. Totally your choice, though.
Honestly, this is not a book you want to miss. I can’t wait for her next book to come out, after all, this one has been written in a way that you just know who the next pairing will be! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I have gone down a bunny trail with this series. Where in the first book, Seb and Chase owned the club and slightly introduced Raven to the dom/sub relationship, Jason and Leah are full blown in this club. We get into the nitty-gritty details of it all, so this book was heavily BDSM. But I love how we went back in time before Dark Trio to how Leah got involved in the club, how she became a sub for Jason and what their story looked like. Then that was interwoven with Raven's story, all from Leah's perspective, and I loved that. For some reason, I loved Leah and Jason's unconventional relationship and the care he had for her. I loved seeing it play out on the page, and couldn't put it down. Now I get book three, which is Sasha's perspective, and I can't wait to see how that all plays out.
I’m not sure if the author really wanted to write a story about Leah (FMC). It doesn’t feel like it. It feels like the author didn’t really like her. There’s no connection with her. No getting to know her or insight into the development of her relationship with Jason (MMC). We see more about Leah interacting with others than her love interest. The relationship starts and gets to the conclusion but we don’t get much of a journey.
Add to that the issues that should really have been sorted out during editing (numerous spelling mistakes. Plot lines that don’t seem to make sense, sentences that seem to be plucked out of nowhere) and I wonder if it’s a different author from book 1 in the series. Sorry, but wasn’t a pleasant read.
If you seek a spicy read, this book certainly delivers in that regard. If you want to know more about BDSM and the community, the first half of this book will definitely explain so much. However, it falls short in terms of an engaging storyline. The characters are underdeveloped, with little attention given to their backgrounds, motivations, or personal growth. Despite being told from Leah's perspective for the majority of the book, we don't get to know her well, nor do we get to know Jason well despite having chapters from his point of view. The story feels like a mundane account of their lives, lacking any significant conflicts or depth
Omg this book was absolutely fantastic and if you are in the bdsm community you will definitely love this book and will see yourself in this book too. Jason is a Dom but doesn't do relationships until he sees Leah in the club but Leah likes to date but is she afraid to trust just one man and settle down? This book was so good and had a few twist and turns but I absolutely loved it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
When Leah gives her latest date the slip at a sex club she finds herself in a world she never dared explore and with Jason at the helm could they become more than play partners? well written steamy BDSM, club, romance.

I found a story to be very interesting. I typically don’t read these kinds of stories but I thought well. I’ll give it a try and when I that usually means I’ll read the first three chapters once I finish the first three chapters I decided yeah I’d read the book. It has a somewhat obscure storyline. It’s mainly sex driven, but it still kept my interest.
Overall this isn’t a bad story, but there are major gaps in plot and issues with sentences oddly or conversations that weren’t on the right place. Overall o think a good editor would have sussed out a lot of the issues I found.
Story filled with fun and laughter and love with a lot of friends to hang with. I love to read these but don’t think I could participate,,I would be crying in pain all the time lol.
This was by far better than the first book in the series. At least this one had an actual plot, but I did feel like I was reading straight up p*rn. I don’t need to read the rest of the series lol
This book is part of a series but you can definitely read it as a stand alone. It was a solid read. I didn’t hate it but I also wasn’t in love with it. It had good writing and a good story to it. A little predictable but a very sweet ending
Absolutely loved this book on to next in the series. This was a story that I could not put down and I was so glad to see they got there happy ending in every way lol.
Dark bond is a BDSM erotica that really did get me worked up. I really enjoyed reading Leah and Jason’s POV’s and watching the chemistry build higher, while navigating feelings. With awesome spice, good plot and awesome characters you could relate too, I was pleased.
Ooh my goodness. I thought the first book was good. This one was even better and way more steamy. Omg the scenes in this are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!! Quick read. But definitely worth the read!!!
