The subtitle of this book 'Advanced topics' was somehow misleading to me. What I missed was the first part of it, which says 'Zero to SysAdmin'. It speaks well about this book is - the second part of comprehensive series for those who want to become conscious system administrators. I think it may be also great for people who already have some knowledge, but acquired it in a chaotic way, learning by themselves. This book may help to sort things out. Some of the chapters end with a handful of links useful for further exploration. I think it's a great book to start with. Not for seasoned admins.
