A thoroughly enjoyable read!

What an enjoyable collection of short stories this turned out to be. Each story was different, be it science fiction, murder mystery or supernatural. The unexpected twist at the end of each tale was a delight. Stories by Charles Welch just keep on getting better and better. Well recommended!

I found each story in this collection exciting, gripping and absorbing. The characters were well developed and believable. Each story ends with an awesome punchline that I did not see coming. These stories would even be great just on their own. I hope there will be another book in this collection in the near future.

Skin-crawling creepiness. Love it!

I really don't like to compare authors, but Stephen King has nothing on this guy. Highly recommend for a quick but terrifying thrill.

Wrong title..

Coming Up Short is just plain wrong! Every bit as good as the first book and I'm looking forward to.reading the next. I plan to buy ALL of them!
