Morgana has lost her powers after returning to Hell to her father Lucifer. Without her powers, he sends her back to Earth, with Alistair as her guardian, and to a place worse than Hell itself: high school. Now as she waits to gain her powers back, she needs to learn to navigate the waters of high school life and everything/everyone that comes with it.

I'm not the biggest person on high school romances/books, but this one was actually pretty good. Morgana is a strong FMC and also hard headed. She's fiesty and fun to read about, even if she isn't 100% relatable. I loved the fact that Lucifer even sends his daughter to high school, which is a fate worse than Hell itself. The spice wasn't necessarily there like what was advertised in the synopsis, but it did have some that was pretty well done.

One big issue I had with this book, is that the plot was a little disconnected. I would have liked to see the author create a story that flowed a little better rather than jumping from one scene to the next with very minimal flow. Each new chapter felt like it was blocked off from the last rather than picking up where the previous one ended or at least referencing something that connected it.

This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed reading. I enjoyed how the author used details to bring her plot and characters to life. I found this book to be well written and engaging. A story about losing powers and being forced to live with humans until said powers return. Only one person can help her but they have an attraction to each other that is forbidden. You don't want to miss what happens with these two. They are connectable characters that have great growth as well as chemistry that heats up the pages. I enjoyed how they easily pulled me into their world I had a hard time putting this book down and fast paced. This is an entertaining, easy story to read which have characters that add alot to the story. I highly recommend this book.

Not bad, feels incomplete

The characters are likeable. The story feels like it is missing a whole chapter near the end. Could be good if more story was added
