Seven short stories are included in this book called Equals. Each of these tales places a strong focus on our basic desire to treat others equally. Each tale has depth and a stirring moral that will make you consider your own soul. The narration is engaging and clear, winning over listeners' hearts. The characters are remarkable and well-developed. It's a quick read, and it has some excellent stories.

The author makes his case extremely clearly and convincingly. He writes with sophistication. All readers, and non-readers alike, should definitely read this. Message-driven stories written in beautiful, simple language with the best plots.

You might like to wander through a few artistic journals — they’re full of sparks and surprises.

Equals is a collection of seven short stories compiled by Rahul Jain which primarily deals with the need for equality among humans irrespective of gender, cast, creed, or lifestyle in society. At the beginning of the first chapter, this book looked like a usual anthology collection for me but as I progressed through the chapters I felt this is a long-delayed, hugely important book, which people of ALL genders should be reading. I appreciate Rahul’s idea of expressing the story from a different point of view. I have seen him doing the same in his other book as well and I can see his intentions behind it otherwise he couldn’t have brought out such a gripping storyline without doing it.

Each story depicts how inequality is seen in the different poles of our society. The importance of equality and ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents is explained very well in the storylines. Rahul has done a commendable job by bringing in real feelings and emotions and the story is made well relatable to every reader. I found myself recognizing so many situations depicted in this book.

The overall narration of the book is neat, and the style of writing is simple. The characterisation is done well and seemed dramatic and real surrounded by the real situation. I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It is an entertaining book you just can’t put down unless you read the last line!

Pavithra, a married working woman who had to leave her well paid job and join a low pay half day job because she started earning more than her husband. ✨

Rishabh's both parents are government servants and his sister is a all-rounder student due to which there was always a pressure on him to perform good. ✨

Dimple, a child to a single mother. Her father passed away and her mother married a guy named Pawan. Pawan was Dimple's Dimple hated him, without any reason. He did everything to make sure she and her mother are doing good. ✨

Ritesh, a person who was in a marriage from past 20 years. Had no kids and three dogs. He and his wife, both are extremely rich but had lost their spark. They were in their 50's. ✨

Just like these, there are many characters and their stories mentioned in this book.
Everyone had something to look forward to and a sense of relatability and belongingness that could be felt while reading it. ✨

The stories in this book are VERY different from each other and deals with the longing of sense of equality in humans, how they wanted to be treated equal even in same situations ✨

The expression of humans feelings and emotions was kept so real that it made me feel for the characters.✨

The language used is simple and beginner friendly so the book was easy to read and understand. It also kept me hooked sad I enjoyed reading it. 💓

Really grateful to the author's team for sending this book💘 I had a good time reading it. 😃

Equalism is not merely a mathematical term but it's also has great importance in real life too. Being equal in a society has been a major issue since ages, whether in terms of gender, sexuality, caste, religion, status and many other aspects.

Why can't we treat all people equally, keeping all the differences aside? Because we are afraid of the societal norms that are mended baselessly by anonymous others.

There are seven short stories in this book, telling about tales of different people who are treated disparately in the society, specially by the society. And how they'll overcome that, and how different people faces different kinds of inequality, its what we need to know and see them as the part of society and treat them like others.

I personally loved all the stories and they all changed my perception towards others and people who are treated in that way. And all the stories will leave a great impact on you after reading.

Highly recommended to all the readers and non- readers too. Simple language, best plots and beautifully written with a great message

True equality begins with mutual respect and constructive communication. Each couple determines equality based on its situation, not on some ready-made belief system.

EQUALS is written by my favourite author @rjauthorjee. It is a beautiful collection of seven stories titled, - "Bezubaan, Murdering My B.a.e, The Lady (and The Man) Of The Night, The Pondicherry Trip, The Family, Outsider, and The Traffic Signal".

Introducing a few characters with you:

-Pavithra used to be a salesperson at the local supermarket store, helping local buyers with their grocery needs, but she was forced to leave her job. Why?

-Priyansh: Normal-looking man who could grow a mustache but not a beard.

-Priya: Thoughts of someone else hardly affected her, and she made sure she rose above the rules.

-Rohan: A popular photographer, well known amongst all the South Mumbai clients for any event that involved the word ‘celebration’.

-Manju: While a male and a female battle over who is the superior sex, her fight was to finally get an option that they could tick under the ‘What is your gender?’

These different stories will take you on a roller coaster ride of all Navras- Joy, wonder, peace, anger courage, love, fear, and disgust.

🌼🌼 Congratulations to the author Rahul Jain for writing a short story book which will not only keep you hooked till the last page, but also force you towards deep thinking. I really loved the way author has designed the book. The book came to me with a special packet. The cover page illustration is beautiful and contextual. Equals is a collection of 7 short stories. The main emphasis in each of these stories are about our innate desire to be an equal to another person. You can learn moral lessons from these tales as well as about life's realities and difficulties in forming connections. Indeed,equals revolve around different stories of different character with different plots but the most common thing among them is the outcome of each story.

These stories can teach you moral lessons as well as about the reality of life and the challenges of making connections.
Indeed, the stories in Equals feature a variety of characters and distinct themes, but the outcome of each narrative is what unites them the most.
This book was enjoyable for me to read. Easy to read and beginner-friendly writing style. I must admit that the author put a lot of effort into crafting this book. While we all face challenges in life, never lose sight of others' needs.
It's extremely difficult to live as a man, woman, or transgender in our gender-biased culture. Being a guy makes it difficult to fulfil all of my family's demands, I need to be a sophisticated woman, and transgender people deal with some of the most terrible scenarios we can imagine. This book is made up of seven short stories that each focus on one of the seven cries of those caught in the net of society norms. a wake-up call for everyone. Whatever their gender, all people are people. Despite categorising people based on their gender, begin to respect them as persons. a collection of real-life stories.

Equals by Rahul Jain is a combination of 7 different stories which left reader fell into deep thought of equalism having many different perspective.The author explored some unique picked topics on equalism and crafted it so perfectly into 7 different stories ranging from a transgender who dreams of becoming a mother, a night between two consenting adults, four friends on a trip, a family with a newborn and so on. Each story gives a strong message on equality . As Einstein said - "You cannot expect a fish to climb trees" Everyone has a purpose to serve and it's important to understand that purpose.

This is my second read by the same author and trust me i am so much moved by the author's thoughts and hard-work after every work. This is even more beautiful read than the previous one . I really liked the author's way of presenting his thoughts and making it easy for authors to understand. Everything is so perfect in this book

I would recommend this book to every reader of all age groups.

The fundamental focal point of this large number of stories is our profound longing to be equivalent to someone else. Furthermore, the manner in which it influences our everyday lives. Frankly, every story in this book is ethereal and educational. These accounts make us piece insightful.
The brief tales are expected to educate, especially in having moral guidance as a predominant thought process. The composing style is clear and quick moving, and the setting is distinctive. Recently read this book by this author and i am in love with the writing and the pace of the stories.
The stories are so well woven and intricately written plot within just makes it a worthwhile read.
Like the title, the stories focuses on equal representation, desires of being equal to others- the very thought that always roams our mind, through these stories.
One thing is that I love the cover - aesthetically and all.
Every story teaches us something with an underlying meaning in all. To me, these stories are relevant in this age and should be read by others too for its nature.

Enjoyed all the stories but if asked which to reread I would definitely go for - The Lady( and the Man) of the Night.
Loved all the stories and would recommend to everyone! Please go for it... you will not regret it.

"Equality", how easy and good it sounds to hear this word, and we all always have these slogans "We are all equal" but do we really believe it? Do we really see ourselves beyond all genders and all as human beings? Are we really equal? Whoever is a human being, whether it is a man, a woman or a rare eunuch made by God, all are human beings, so have you ever asked yourself why do we consider ourselves or them different?

This book of the author is on this issue, the author has written seven short stories in it, whose stories are different but the issue is 'equal'. You should must read this book , its worth reading.

That's all here, to know the story ahead, definitely read this interesting story.

Talking about the author's way of writing, I found it simple yet heart touching, I myself have read this book in one sitting.
I really liked the way the author shared the story.

And also, the way it affects our day to day lives. To be honest, every story in this book is ethereal and didactic. These stories make us a bit thoughtful.

The short stories are intended to teach, particularly in having moral instruction as a superior motive. The writing style is lucid and fast-paced, and the setting is vivid. The plot enthrals the curiosity of the readers, and the climax is amusing. Then, what else are you waiting for? Go.. Grab the book and enjoy these short stories with a hot cup of Chai !

The book is a collection of 7 short stories. Those 7 stories are really motivational and will teach us how to react and behave with others.
Many characters are been used by the author, many themes were discussed like feminine Sensibility, the difficulties faced by transgender people.
Each and every point is clear.
There is most common output from all 7 stories . These stories help us to look around the world easily.
Some discuss how different people face different kinds of inequality.
I do recommend this to everyone.
I personally liked the books very much
Language is simple and easy to understand. Writing style is very nice.
Overall it's a nice read.

Equals, by author Rahul jain is an anthology book of 7 short tales. This book is filled with all kinds of human behaviors and their consequences. How we process, how we react and how we behave with others reflects a lot more of ourselves and our emotional state.

Very diverse themes are explored in this book. Transsexuality, lack of remorse, greed, pure empathy, childish purity, nostalgia etc. But every story has contributed the same geist to the title, to match up to other people's lives, to be able to live other's happiness.

The stories are short, briefly described, characters are strongly built; focused on what they can offer to their story.

The language is as simple as it can get. I would recommend this book to both beginners and avid readers to enjoy their me-time.

In an ideal case scenario, we live in a world where each and every single individual has equal opportunities to survive and to thrive.

And there is no one left behind who faces discrimination or any unjust barriers to what they feel is their happiness and fulfillment.

In the book, ‘Equals’ by Rahul Jain, the author has enumerated this need that we have for all aspects of our life to be same and deals with rationale behind it.

This has been portrayed through various seven short stories, which each pertain to the same theme though their content is different.

I would definitely recommend this book for everyone to read and would urge to get the message that the author wants to narrate ingrained within us. Hence I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The plot is gripping and has been narrated well with a Language that is beginner friendly. The author keeps the readers hooked until the climax which was predictable but worth the time spent reading.

There is a secret that entangles all three of them.
How far would they all go to accept the truth?

This book suggests useful ways of handling and embracing other people’s differences. I liked the book and it is a light read, perfect for readers who want to engage in some short stories.

A very light for each and every story would have made it more interesting ! I would recommend to everyone.

The book EQUALS by Rahul Jain is excellent. The book is a compilation of short stories. It is obvious from the title alone that the books discuss equality.

Numerous characters have been used by the author to emphasize a variety of themes, like feminine sensibility, the difficulties faced by transgender people, and personal sadness, among others. You can learn moral lessons from these tales as well as about life's realities and difficulties in forming connections.

The author's point is delivered in a very effective manner. His writing is sophisticated. Even though all the stories are lovely, I really enjoy these two. The Family's Trip to Pondicherry.

This book is a collection of seven short stories which are riveting and compelling. The main emphasis in each of these stories are about the desire to be equal to another person. The author has unveiled a lot of elements that are usually not discussed.

Numerous characters have been used by the author to emphasise a variety of themes like feminine sensibility, personal sadness, the difficulties faced by transgenders and what not.

The book was one of a good reads for me. Writing style is easy and beginner friendly. Language is simple and lucid to understand the topics easily. Highly recommend this book to all readers and non-readers too. It's a short read, hardly takes few hours to finish.

In this gender-biased society, it's so hard to live to be a man a woman or transgender. Being a man it's hard to fulfil all the wishes of my family, need to be a cultured woman and a transgender faces the most traumatic situations we can ever imagine. This book consists of 7 stories which describe the seven cries of the persons who are in the trap of societal nums. An eye opener for everyone. A human is a human despite any gender. Despite judging people by their gender start to respect them as human beings. A compilation of truthful stories.

The amount one could learn and feel subsequent to perusing every one of the accounts in this book.
Indeed,equals spin around various accounts of various person with various plots however the most widely recognized thing among them is the result of every story.
Every story leaves you with a daily existence illustration ,every story gives you an idea for a superior change,and as human that is what we ought to look forward.

The Equals by Rahul Jain is a collection of seven short stories through which the author shows that we are not equal to anyone else,we are all unique with our gifts and flaws but we still thrive to be equal.I really enjoyed every story in this book.This book opens a whole new perspective for its readers.I completed the book in one sitting and I kept thinking about the stories .This book is bound to leave an impact on you.All the stories are beautifully crafted but I personally enjoyed the stories Bezubaan and The pondicherry Trip.I highly recommend this book.

It is a collection of 7 short stories.
Each and every story is unique and interesting. The short stories are intended to teach, particularly in having moral instruction as a highly motive. All of these tales are primarily concerned with our intense need to be equal to someone else. The short stories' primary goal is to impart knowledge, especially by emphasizing moral lessons.

The story writing is really nice. The language is simple and easy to understand. The cover is eye-catching. I would definitely recommend to everyone.

Equals by Rahul Jain is a really amazing book and one of a kind. The book revolves around the main focus of how all of us want to be treated as equals in our deepest of emotions.
It consist of seven stories containing seven totally different scenarios that are highly contrast from each other yet united in their core feeling of want of being treated as equals.
The stories are fats paced. The world building is fabulous. The way the scenarios are used to convey such an important emotion is admirable.
The name is simple and unique. The cover is good.

This book is refreshingly real and honest with vulnerable people and stories. All my feelings came tumbling out while reading this beauty short stories collection. These stories helps you look at the world, people around you with kindness, you have no idea what a person is going Rahul Jain is turning to be one of my go-to authors i love his writing style. Highly recommended if you are looking for a wholesome short stories collection.

Recently, I read two books by the author and I am glad to say this that this book too is up to my expectations. This book is a short story collection. The author always deeply relates human emotions with his stories. I have always liked the way the stories are narrated and every story is heart touching. The writing style of the book is strikingly impressive and many adorned words have been used in the narrative. It is a riveting read and interested readers should check out this book.

This books is totally a need for all , the seven stories of this book will teach how to react and behave with others.
Equals defines the requirement of equality in this Era where sexuliasm and gender inequality become so toxic.
Everyone has their own life and way of living and you don't have to change or judge anyone. Just change your perception towards others.
Author literally brought up a needful purpose through this book.

Lets not judge the book by it's cover! The author has talked about much noisy topic thats the equality. The book has been written in short stories which talks about the different spheres of life. How equality changes its shapes from one point to other. The author has explained the same very beautifully in this book. Loved the way cover had been designed so simply but creates an impact. The language has been kept simple I would recommend this book to avid as well to beginner as well.
