Lyla needs a fresh start. After the failure of her marriage she’s going back to basics. Her brother is away but she needs a place to lie low. Two guys become important in her life. The three of them start to heat things up. Now Lyla is out of her loveless marriage things are going to start looking up.
Two guys and a girl find themselves wanting to explore the possibility of a three way relationship. I’ve not read anything like this before and it had quite a few twists and turns. It’s the start of a series and will leave you wanting more. The author has promised book two will be along shortly.
Lyla’s new life is full of chemistry and love like never before. Can three people find something two couldn’t? This is just the start and Lyla buckled in for the ride.

The blurb was so intriguing that this book jumped to the top of my list! What a wild ride! Lyla leaves her controlling husband to go back to her childhood home and the only family she has left. She was surprised to find her brother’s 3 friends and Gunner the dog, but she felt safe and loved at last.
It does end on a cliffhanger, which I normally despise, but the author disclosed it ahead of time and warned this is part 1 of 2, so I’m fine with it. It ends in a devastating loss, an oppressive threat, and joyful hope. I can’t wait for the conclusion!

I recieved this ARC and am voluntarily leaving my review. I really enjoyed this book. After she realizes that her marriage is over, Lyla heads home, hoping that her life will improve after a failed marriage. Her brother's two friends might just be the key to her happiness. This was an interesting story and be forewarned, it ends with a cliffhanger. Im looking forward to the next book to be able to continue the story! You will really enjoy thr story that these authors have created.

At first, I thought detachment meant something about army's wives; boy, was I in for a surprise. Turns out, Detachment is about the sister 0f Lloyd's who is on deployment & his roommates.
To me, at times, it read as being kind of overly descriptive, but still a good & interesting read. I'm looking forward to the continuation of book 1 of this duet or series especially with that cliffhanger with Lyla & the guys.

This is a read full of passion and chemistry. I loved Lyla and her men. This has incredible emotion and heat that provided a wild ride of a read. I am very excited for book 2.

It has a snail paced start but it was an ok book.
Be ready for it to be drilled into your head the first few chapters that she has no where else to go. It gets sickenly repetitive and almost caused me not to finish the book but, I'm glad I did.
It's worth the read if you have a couple hours.

Great start!

A Great MMF Romantic Drama, Loved Thom, Ryan, Lyla and Sam
Lyla, has had enough of her loveless and emotionally abusive marriage to the born into money Francis. She sneaks away while he is out returning to her childhood home. The ownership she shares with her younger twin, Lloyd, a solider away on a training mission.
Lyla and Lloyd were close as children, her marriage took it's toll on their relationship. Lloyd hating Francis. Lloyd has always kept the lines of communication open. She knows he would never turn her away.
Much has changed at her childhood home that Lloyd did not share. Three of his Army buddies are now housemates. Thom, the tall viking Adonis, who it a physical readiness trainer. The rugged Ryan, a cook who manages the base kitchen. Then there is Sam, who is away with Lloyd on a training exercise. Then there is Gunner, Sam's dog, who has taken a liking to Lyla.
Thom is calm, patient and charming to Ryan's bold, and flirty. The two men are more than good friends. They both have taken an interest in Lyla. Their tentative friendship quickly escalates to more. Lyla embraces all they have to offer.
Tragedy strikes and Francis makes his move. Leaving Thom and Ryan devastated and their relationship in taters. Sam with guilt for his roll.
Lyla is caught under Francis thumb and will do anything to protect the men she loves. A change in her medical status has her plotting her escape.

The house is owned by herself and her twin brother Lloyd, a soldier based at a nearby army base. What Lyla wasn’t expecting to find, is that Lloyd now shares the house with three other soldiers of different specialisms. Thom is a fitness instructor, Ryan is a chef and Sam, who is away on a training exercise with Lloyd at the moment, is a medic. Gunner is Sam’s very well trained German Shepherd. Lyla finds Thom and Ryan very easy to get along with and vice versa. Not worrying about where she goes next for now, Lyla is just glad to be able to breathe and have friends that she can open up to. She’s a qualified paralegal that stopped working years earlier when her husband decided that they start a family. After numerous failed attempts at IVF so that Francis could get himself an ‘heir’ Lyla had had enough heartbreak within a loveless marriage.
Lyla notices that Ryan and Thom are very close, and despite her suspicions that they might be in a relationship, she herself can’t deny her attraction to them both. Their relationship with Lyla builds from strength to strength until they get some life changing news.
The book is brilliantly written and engaging throughout. The characters personalities each shine through and compliment each other. This is an excellent read and I cannot wait for book two.

The relationship between Ryan and Thom is complicated to say the least, but they make the decision to see what would happen if they added Lyla.

While Lyla is in surgery, Sam another roommate calls and notifies Thom and Ryan that Llyod (Lyla's brother) has passed away. It seems that both the twins had their appendix both rupturing at the same time, while Lyla was able to get to the hospital in time, Llyod was not.
Life takes several twists and turns, and Lyla's abusive husband threatens Ryan's career and Lyla herself.

When Lyla finally got her stuff packed tool off her wedding rings three the keys through the mail slot an went to her an her brothers home.She guess he was off on military duty so she settled in.She finally left her controlling verbally abusive husband.There are great characters the chemistry between Lyla,Thom,Ryan and then Sam is off the charts.There is so much heart break an pain but the storyline will pull out in.There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see whats next by this multi talented author.

What an amazing story about a woman leaving a loveless marriage. Now she heads to her brothers house but wasn't expecting any house guests. Her brother doesn't like being alone and while he is on a mission he still has friends of his staying over. They are attracted to Lyla and are curious where it's heading. I loved this story and can't wait for book 2. It ends in a cliffhanger so if you don't like those wait for book 2.

This was a very well written story with a great women looking to start over. With having to start over and get over the emotional rollercoaster from her husband. She moves back in to her childhood home that she owns with her brother. That now has two roommates staying with him. They help but it takes a lot to over her husband's had treatment. The book ends on a cliffhanger.

Disapointing
Disgusting way for an author to try to make money. To give a book away and not tell you it is not complete but that you will have to spend a fortune to get the ending because it is continued. I will make up my own ending and will never buy from someone using these tactics. If you write a book with a HEA a person is much more willing to buy your next book.

I loved this well written book with great characters and a smoothly written storyline. The chemistry between the characters is strong from start to finish making for smooth flowing storyline. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

Loved it
I loved this book it was the first one I've read by shape and zl and I can't wait for book 2 I loved the characters it had love, funniness, challenges, a little sadness and does it with a cliffhanger so hurry with the new one please. But this book keeps you hooked the whole time and pulls you in such a great way. It's def a highly recommended book.

When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I can not wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

What I love most about this series is that is was believable. It wasn't just an instant we are a happy harem there were bumps in the road and it did navigate the emotional aspects for the men. I do wish we got a little more of a peak into life with the baby and how the bonds between the characters formed but all in all amazing 2 book series. (Fingers crossed there might be a book 3 or novella)

Loved it

This is an intense story line that holds your attention as you get caught up in the fierce twists and turns and hot chemistry. Lots of excitement. A thrilling must read, every page will have you enthralled and panting for more.

How Lyla Got Her Groove Back and Was Left with a Cliffhanger - After leaving her husband and their lackluster marriage, Lyla finds herself are the home she owns with her brother. Things get hot as two of his roommates find her of interest. Ryan and Thom, who already share each other, add her to their arrangement and things just keep getting interesting. Add some intrigue and unexpected events to the sinful pleasures - and heartbreak - and you have one heck of a good time... until more twists lead to a cliffhanger. Gah! Wow, talk about hooked. Juggling relationships m the good and the bad. Emotions of loss and happiness. This book has it all.
