Jamie gets kicked in the head whilst playing for Barcelona and gets diagnosed with amnesia so he can not remember from a few mounts ago. Only old memories. He forgets that he played for Barcelona. When he signed for Barcelona he was so injured that he was forced to sign a pay to play contract and as he can not play, he is not payed. He then retires from football and is offered a job from his primary school bully which he is forced to accept. This built up his muscles and then he is fit to play again but this time for horkstone.

Some times the story seems to be exaggerated, but it is worth to read.

It was a really exciting book, I didn't see much of it coming. I was just annoyed at the big cliff hanger at the end.

This book is all about how Jamie Johnson is scouted for Barcelona but then gets a serious injury where his recent memory is wiped By a kick to the head but at the end he gets his football skills back and manages to start playing again but now the pain in his knee has gone where he got hit by a car. My favourite bit about this book is the way the author uses a twist ending in my opinion because I thought Jamie would retire but no he kept on fighting. My favourite character is called Jack because of the motivation she gave Jamie. I learnt from this book to never give up.

Really good book. Final Whistle tells the story of Jamie Johnson, new to the international stage of football, but making waves with some stupendous performances in the recent World Cup. I really enjoyed the suspense of how he was playing in so many matches. Recommend this to any football fans.

Yes a literal childrens book but I enjoyed the first five and didn't clock there was another one.

Didn't like the ending. Also just a bit too much unrealistic nonsense compared to the first few books (unless the entire book is a coma dream which is possible).

I've been reading this with my son. Not really for me, but having said that it's not aimed at me. 😅

Jamie Johnson, a player who was in the World Cup, wanted to start playing after he had been injured a few times. But he needed a lot of practice. So Jack and Dillon help him train secretly and do their best to get him to play in the big matches. So when he starts playing his first match against Real Madrid he scores and ties it to 1-1. Then the ball comes at him, he jumps, will he score or not?

It was very good and an excited climax to Jamie's story. I would really recommend this book.
