★★★★★ "I...LOVED...this duet!! "Blue" was a fantastic start, and "Switch" just tied it all together (no pun intended, haha!)." -Boys in Books are Better Reviews-

"Desperation was a feeling I knew and a feeling I loathed. It made me feel out of control and weak. It was a feeling that drove me to dominance and because I was feeling it now, it drove me to demand what I wanted."

Christine "Ris" Warren is constantly in control. Her career as a public defense attorney demands it. But the aftermath of an attempted murder throws her life into a tailspin, breaking her confidence and threatening her reputation. She finds solace in submission when her ex-boyfriend comes to her rescue, but her need to switch and dominate might just threaten their potential.

Jasper "Law" Haven thrives on being dominant. When two of his favorite women find themselves in need of his kinky discipline, he steps up to the plate to do what he does best. As intimacy grows, old feelings resurface and he is forced to think about what he truly wants in life – and who he wants to share it with.

Will Ris find love and the balance she craves as a switch?
Can Law give up control and appreciate what's truly important?

With open minds, Ris and Law attempt to navigate their complex relationship and fight for a future that neither of them knew they wanted.

CONTENT This book contains sexually explicit scenes and mature themes. Ris' story features sexual healing that involves kink, dominance & submission, multiple partners (including same sex), and a sex club. It is not a standalone and the books must be read in order. This is book 2 of 2.

Brynn Ford is a USA Today Bestselling Author of dark romance for daring readers. She writes emotionally heavy love stories that will twist your soul and shatter your heart before pulling you back together with a hopeful happily-ever-after.

Brynn's books are dark, sometimes disturbing, and often overwhelming. But they're always brightened by an insistent, spicy romance that will live rent-free in your head long after you've turned the final page.

When Brynn isn't obsessively writing, you may find her binge-watching favorite shows while eating far too much junk food or fanatically reading, always seeking to lose herself in the emotional roller coaster of a damn good story. She's a firm believer that her characters continue to live outside the pages in the minds of her readers. Stories don't end just because there aren't any more pages to turn.

Wow what a book. Quite the ending for this duet, so good. I loved Ris, Law, Desi and Vaughn, such awesome and strong characters. I truly love it when an author can make you feel what the characters are feeling or going through and this author definitely did that. I loved this book and can't wait for future books from this author.

This is the 2nd and concluding part of this intriguing duet, and this talented author had done an amazing job in penning this tale, which had realistic and relatable characters and plot. I look forward to reading more of this authors’ work.

Ris and Law were dynamite in this story. I loved the way the couple came together and helped Desi deal with Vaughn being away from her. Vaughn was so strong in encouraging Desi to continue her relationship with Law and Ris. You truly felt the emotions of all the characters and what they went through in the story. A truly awesome read, make sure you read Blue first so you will be able to understand what is going on.

I...LOVED...this duet!! "Blue" was a fantastic start, and "Switch" just tied it all together (no pun intended, haha!). This review should be just on Switch, but it's so hard to not do both.

This duet felt so real at times. I wanted to be in the middle, haha! I know we read to escape everyday life. My favorite reads include themes and elements that would not fly in real life, in fact are illegal, immoral, disgusting even, in real life...but it's an escape. While this book doesn't have those themes...it does have elements of a relationship that, thanks to books like 50 Shades, are becoming more prevalent or possibly even more acceptable, though still highly misunderstood...but it is woven in such a way that it's still an escape. I feel like this book could very well be someones real life...and I actually love that about it.

The characters throughout the duet were very well developed. Vaughn and Desi and Law and Ris...very well written, very relatable.

Scenes...OMG...🔥🔥🔥🔥!!! I wanted to be involved. I wanted to screenshot and send some of these scenes to my husband...in fact, one I did, lol.

If you like a good BDSM romance...this duet is definitely for you. No...it is NOT 50 Shades, billionaire romance. It has real life elements. Real life situations. Not the fantasy of saving the broken billionaire and making him fall in love. This duet starts with that love...and it's up to the characters to keep that love going through the trials and tribulations that they have to endure.
Yes, there are some cheating elements, but not exactly what you think. Even if one of your hard limits is cheating in a story.. I implore you to read it.

Seriously...do yourself a favor and check out new, indie author Brynn Ford and this duet...I think you'll be pleased.

Like the first book in this duet Blue, I found that I couldn't put Switch down once I started. Possibly a good thing that it is Easter and I could spend some time doing little but sitting around reading. Switch opens only a few days after the end of Blue, Vaughan is in prison, Desi is lost without him, Ris is still reeling from the attack that she faced and Law is confused in his feeling for both Desi and Ris. I loved the dynamic of what are ultimately the two couples in this story. Most of this book is from Ris and Law's point of view and in many ways is more their story, in the same way, that the previous book was Desi and Vaughan's. That said, there is still much to resolve for them.
I enjoyed these two books immensely, they sucked me into their world and I couldn't help but want to know how this was all going to pan out. The very ending did feel very slightly rushed, but only slightly. It didn't detract from my enjoyment. A great duet of books.

Switch is the second book in the Black Ties Duet from Brynn Ford. You need to read Blue before reading this one. Switch is where you get the ending and the tying together of everything that happened in Blue. I don't want to give anything away. I will say that all the characters in this book are absolutely amazing. They have stolen my heard and taken me on emotional journeys of pain and finding a way to heal from that pain. You just need to pick these two books up and read them. They are so amazing you do not want to miss them.

AMAZING!! If you loved the first one as much as I did you'll read this one in one night. Not only do you get more Desi and Vaughn but a deeper inside look at Ris and Law. Kinky fantastic moments mixed with twist and emotional revelations! I don't want to say too much because of spoilers but be ready for epic characters and plots that grab you and don't let go! Ris and Law are complex, not your typical couple because are so unique as individuals. This duet tie together perfectly with Desi, Vaughn, Ris and Law getting their time to shine. Sexy and desire that can consume you! Can't wait for the next with this great author!

Ris and Law are a dynamic duo. However there are cracks in their armour and we get to know what makes these two tick. Their vulnerabilities are brought to the surface. This was a fantastic conclusion to this duet. I’m looking forward to more from this very talented young author. ❤️❤️
