The Chinese army groups that were assembled in Mexico preparing to strike into southern Texas and strike Foot Hood where the bulk of Free America's armor and warplanes were based. The Chinese knew if they were able to defeat the forces at the border and at Fort Hood they could take the Pantex nuclear facility and there wouldn't be anything to stop them from driving up the center of the country, splitting into two. The battles are getting more violent. The war for America has moved to another level. This series will continue to book 9, thus book 7 begins to set the stage for the final two chapters of the battle for America.
I really enjoyed each of the series. The stories allow me to escape to a fictional world where every thing seems to be falling apart. However much the chagrin of the large powers, i.e. China the under dog continues to win against insurmountable odds. Just fun to read.
Author Ira Tabankin is honestly a gifted storyteller. I’ve reached the conclusion of the 7th book in the Behind Every Blade of Grass series. And the reading remains thrilling, fresh, & exciting— as the story continues to be filled with unique scenarios, events, & characters. Due to all the aforementioned & more, I feel as motivated now as I did at the start of the series to jump straight on to the next book immediately after swiping the last page of my current read. This is a true test of any author’s creativity & skill as a wordsmith. In my experience, unfortunately too many of the longer series start to become dull, repetitive - just generally flatline - losing of all the energy & great ideas they started out with right around the 6th &/or 7th book. Not this series. Or apparently Ira Tabankin. A truly gripping, highly entertaining, never dull nor expected, yet slightly frightening in its potential for realism, story!
Tabankin's 7th novel in this series leaves me more than ready for the remaining two. I hope that they are published soon! Two critiques: #1: The proofreaders need to pay attention to the formatting. E.g., a sentence will begin and then jump to the next line. That can be distracting. #2: As a former German teacher, I noted that the German word for the number five was misspelled. The correct spelling is "fünf". Note the umlaut over the letter "u". Great novel and so fun to read! I am anxiously awaiting numbers eight and nine. Let it be so!
Very well written, Ira has continued the story brilliantly!!
It just keeps getting better, if book 8 is going to be the last there's a lot of loose ends to close. This is a thoroughly great book although probably not for PC readers or easily offended. Same fast paced action of the previous 6 books but explained a lot. Would recommend if you have read the other 6 books first, if not you should start with book 1. Series is awesome great author looking forward to next book. A+
The book opening prologue is annoying has the author has repeated for the 4 novels try some original telling and the book is dry fest has story seem logic-damaged to not seem probably do I get that’s the should point of it.
I enjoyed reading this book, the action kept me entertain and guessing what would happen next til the end of the book. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
