END OF LINE

Rate this book
'END OF LINE' is a novel by adam byfield. Set in the aftermath of an earlier novel, 'THC', 'END OF LINE' is a standalone story that employs a similar mix of first person, noir narrative style and innovative, slipstream format. Kaz is an ageing chancer whose latest late night suicide attempt is interrupted by a desperate phone call. He sets off on a race against the dawn, unwittingly following three different paths to the truth simultaneously. Two of these paths will kill him but the third might just save his friend's life. Along the way Kaz reflects on his past, gradually revealing the string of failures that brought him here and ultimately why this one last job is so damn important.
